I have a Cat Mate water fountain that has been doing wonderfully for my four cats for over a year now. Unfortunately a few weeks ago one of them decided to chew through the power cord in the night (thankfully no one was injured), so I needed to find a replacement, this was very easy to do on the Closer Pets site, with only a small complaint. Because I was ordering it on the weekend on February 16th, I knew that might delay it which was fine. The soonest I could get it turned out to be the 21st, but it shipped with no updates about its status along the way. It did however arrive safely and on time, and functioned well for its very short use.

Unfortunately the night I installed the new power supply, someone chewed through it again (still no one injured). So of course I had to order another one, once again on the weekend being on the 23rd this time. I'm not sure what made the difference with this second order, it arrived in a similar span of time but this time I received email updates about it being shipped, when it was out for delivery, and when it was delivered, which was very nice. I have taken extra precautions with the newest cord now to ward off further chewing, but it has been very easy to find and order what I need from Closer Pets. While I certainly hope not to need to order any further replacement parts for some time besides the standard filters, I'm happy to know how easy it is to do so if the need arises.

This company is so good with customer service! I had another issue in the past & they promptly took care of it. This time they respond within the stated time frame & answered my question. Plus their product (mibowl) is a lifesaver. All my cats get the appropriate food for them & the others can’t access it!!

Great product (cat-mate 3 level water fountain - my cats literally won't drink out of anything else) and very responsive and helpful customer service.

I purchased an automatic Cat feeder in 2020. Two years later it stopped working and they kindly sent a replacement as I'd registered it to get the three year warranty. Since then, two years later, the new one has stopped working. I messaged the company to explain the situation but as the warranty has expired they will not help. It's disappointing the item only lasts two years. I have tried changing the batteries, this didn't work and I have tried using the 'adj and up arrow' to realign it and this has not worked. I was upset as my Cat has Hyperthyroidism and has lost a substantial amount of weight. He needs to be fed often and whilst we are out we rely on the automatic feeder. We came home from being out all day and found the machine had turned and stopped part way and therefore my Cat wasn't fed the entire day. It is very upsetting to have found this especially with my Cats health condition. The fact this happened shows you cannot rely on this machine whilst you're away from home. The company despite knowing this have refused to help in anyway. Regardless of not being under warranty it is disappointing they've shown no care regarding our Cat not being fed at all whilst we were out. A company centered around Pets should understand how upsetting this is for us.

When I called a real person answered the phone and immediately took care of my problem! That never happens these days. I really appreciated the help and understanding of the employee. She was excellent! Thank you so much. The order arrived in about four days after our talk. That was also wonderful!

My order got shipped from Texas to Alaska and is now simply showing in process and late, with no current location.

Keine Empfehlung. Geht direkt nach Ablauf der Gewährleistung kaputt.
Kundenservice ist eine Frechheit. Bereits beim ersten Schriftwechsel war bekannt, das die gesetzliche Reklamationsfrist abgelaufen ist. Trotzdem wurden weitere Fragen gestellt/ beantwortet und suggeriert auf dem Kulanzweg eine Art Entschädigung anzubieten. Und dann kommt doch: die Frist ist leider....blablabla.

Nach anfänglicher Zufriedenheit jetzt leider nur 1 Stern.
Grund: im Modus 'nur raus' sollte die Katze nicht von draußen reinkommen. Tut sie aber. Mit Lebend Beute.
Angesichts der Einbaukosten Glaser von € 600 + Kosten Klappe € 80 und Schäden durch Nager (Geschirrspüler Herd und Sideboard kaputt/unbrauchbar) und einer winzigen Rente von € 700 muss ich mich jetzt von meiner sehr geliebten Katze trennen. Bitte nicht kaufen. R. Lemke

My cat loves it and is drinking a lot more water. However, I purchased it in April and at the end of May the pump went out. I cleaned it, it worked for a short time and died. Luckily I had purchased some filters and a new pump. Will see how this one does.

The pump in my fountain stopped working, the pump I ordered was not the exact pump that broke but it worked! The site says their pumps are compatible with most of their fountains and I believe this to be true. My order wasn't too pricey and showed up at my door a few days later.
