I had to rtn the unit after practicing for a week, we went away and came home to maggots and the u it was stuck on an empty slot :( really wanted it to work. Bought extra ice packs and maybe when the house sitter out them in she messed up but either way doesn’t work for us because 5 days would need new ice packs :(

This feeder was super easy to set up and use. My cat adapted in no time, and I think the regimented meal times has made him calmer than my former haphazard schedule.

Best thing ever for busy people. I fill the trays - we have five extra- and my husband grabs them from the fridge each morning, adds a new ice pack, and the cat is good for the day!

Product failed within 5 minutes of installation. Vendor required return in original packaging which I do not have. Vendor requires me to pay return shipping for a defective product. Vendor will only replace, not refund. They have my money now but they won't get any more.

Closer Pets is an efficient & helpful company. I received the wrong plug for their Dog Mate water fountain. After a few quick messages back & forth, they promptly sent the correct plug & a pump. The whole process was hassle-free. I appreciate their kindness, attentiveness, & efficiency. Plus, their Dog Mate fountain is awesome…the best water fountain for pets that I’ve ever seen.

I was delighted to find a replacement feeder tray for a feeder I’ve been using for several years. It cost very little and saved me from having to toss an otherwise functional cat feeder and buying a new one. One less contribution to the garbage dump. :)

Right replacement part for my pet door. took awhile to arrive but as I live 100 miles east of yellowstone park that is normal.

The Catmate C500 is great for cats with digestive problems. Or cats that eat too fast. You can put as much or as little as you need to in each bowl of the dispenser. I actually have 5 of these now so I set 2 for canned food and 2 for dry food and an extra if I want to fill in the time gaps the others are set for. I have extra dispenser bowls and extra ice packs. This dispenser allows me to carefully feed my cat with issues and be able to get out of the house because the feeders are programmed and give exactly what is needed. Best there is.
