Nothing went wrong, but I am very disappointed that the premium has doubled just because we are claiming against our policy for a condition that we are insured against.
If you asked me to do some plumbing in your home and where satified and then came back for more plumbing, how would you feel if I doubled the hourly rate? It seems to me to be a cynical money-grabbing tactic that you have implemented.
Also, you keep telling me every month that we have claimed when I have told you to repeat the claim and settle the claim without three emails every month.
I am very much feeling like I am not part of the process and have slipped into auto mode instead of an intelligent claim handling process.

It took a rather long time. Im not sure i will renew as I know because I've made a claim I will be penalised by it going up too much that I can't afford

After our pet dog became ill and sadly passed away we had to claim for payments to three separate practices.
All three claims were processed without any problems and we received the money after about a month.

I have found Corinium to be fair. When I had one claim rejected and revisited it. They over turned their original decision.

The additional costs are steep but this is the same with most other pet insurance companies

If I speak to somebody on the phone they are always polite, empathetic and knowledgeable

My claim was handled promptly and my policy paid out as I had hoped. Very pleased I had my sickness cover when I needed it. A doctors note was required, but that should be possible for any genuine sickness claim, just be sure to visit your doctor as soon as you can't work.

Simple claims process during which I was kept informed of progress at each step.

its the first time I've had to claim for my pet, I had two separate bills one for out of hours emergency appointment and the other was a major operation on the pets leg. both claims ended being put together which was very helpful and from start to finish Corinium insurance helped me through the claim process on the telephone. insurance paid up in a few weeks one lot of money direct to the vet for the operation and the other money to myself as i had to pay up front for the emergency treatment.
I would recommend Corinium Insurance Services as they have done a great job.

Very easy to claim online. Processed and paid in a couple of weeks.

Always quick and efficient and pay what they promise.

Cant complain when the money comes through. Only missing 1 star as the payment took a while.

They listen to the customer and take you through every step. Friendly and polite they explain things if you are not sure. Also they ask how your pet is doing.

When the vet noticed suspicious signs of a disease with my dog and wanted to do further investigation the insurance company were so helpful explaining the process of the claim and very compassionate about my dog

Well what can i say about Corinium except outstanding. I have had pet insurance for many many years as my pets are my family. I as you can imagine have had dealing with many other pet insurance companies and Corinium by far for my pets needs and my reassurance have excelled. They continue not to disappoint and believe me my pet had a back accident which lead into 1000s and Corinium have not questioned nor unendated me with calls , Questions etc. Thank you so much for all your help you have and continue to give and a special thank s from my furry pooch Xena .

We had a Lifetime policy with Corinium. After emergency treatment and euthanasia of our dog, we claimed £848.89. £5.60 was paid.

Euthanasia and cremation costs were excluded under the policy wording. The claim was handled by Trent-Services and underwritten by Watford Insurance Company Europe Limited.

The Financial Ombudsman agreed the exclusion applied. I’d strongly advise reading the full exclusions carefully, especially around end-of-life costs, before purchasing.
