Countryhotelbreaks site is very helpful to find a high standard level hotels everywhere in The UK. It is easy to navigate, provide all information we as guests would need. Absolutely easy booking process. We would use the site again as well as we would recommend it to anyone who looks for the hotels in nice quiet areas with comfort and good quality service.

Very simple process, took no time at all

Booking with Country Hotel Breaks was so easy and quick, a well presented web site with extensive Hotel details including personal reviews helped us make an informed decision. Once we had choseen our hotel, booking and paying for our stay could not have been easier and confirmation via email within minutes.

I made my booking online and the site was easy, the photos of the accommodation and facilities were extremely good. The options for me to finalise my booking made it an easy booking for me to make.

Charming lady who answered the phone when I rang to book restaurant reservations, who was lightning fast with the booking confirmations.

I had need to speak to the online assistant who was very helpful, dealt with my enquiry straight away and even spoke directly to the hotel I had booked. The whole issue was resolved to my satisfaction within an hour and the service could not have been more pleasant.

Excellent - recommended

This travel agent put packages together and their first bullet point is
"Free upgrade on arrival" and then quietly whisper "subject to availability".
They use it to draw you in.
It would be much more honest to put this at the end of their bullet points and say
"On the very slim chance of a room being available, the hotel might just upgrade you but this is highly unlikely".
Secondly be aware that their "dining allowance" does not include a drink.
They were extremely patronising when I emailed to say I was shocked that a drink was not included in the £28 dining allowance.
I got a reply saying "if a drink were included it would say "dining and a drink" !!
As though having a drink with your meal is an oddity!
We hadn't spent the full allowance, so it is just another way of getting another payment.
The premium room CountryHotels sold us, at £168 was mouldy...very mouldy. I sent them photos and they made no comment.
I'd like to know their view on a very mouldy room but they don't care now they have the money for it.

Excellent, rapid response to booking request. Thoroughly recommended.

This one of the nicest stays I've ever had. I'm a frequent traveller.
The hotel was stunning and set an a beautiful location. It was peaceful, clean and cozy. The facilities were excellent. The food was amazing. I could continue but to top it all off, EVERY member of staff was attentive and caring. They made us feel like we were special.

Thank you to everyone for making our stay so special.

Initial contact by phone resulted in a quote via email for my specific requirements. Following receipt of this email I then went ahead and booked online, which was smooth and efficient. I’m now looking forward to my stay, which will be the ultimate test.
