I had been taken advantage of and no one at the company I had done business with would provide me with any information. All I got was wait 21 days while we investigate the matter. Well after waiting several periods of 21-days and getting the same answer that "We are investigating your complaint," I decided to contact Courtlinked.com. They got to work immediately; found the court having jurisdiction, and filed my Small Claims Suit. They handled everything I authorized them to handle. Complete scam. They did nothing. They sent me forms to make me believe things were in motion. I notarized papers and wasted my time. Literally nothing at all was done beyond someone emailing me and making me believe they were doing things. I paid for a demand letter....they never did one. They never served the defendant. They never filed the case. 3 months wasted. They even made the mistake of mailing documents for me to fill out...TO THE DEFENDENT! Since they did not refund, and three months passed, I am likely out the money...perhaps this is how they make money?

I had a small claims court matter that needed to be handled in order for me to recoup on a defaulted loan. I have a full time job, and despite having gone to law school myself (but not practicing) and knowing countless attorneys, hiring an attorney to handle small claims matters is generally cost prohibitive. Taking on a legal matter of any kind is at best a hassle and a pain in the you-know-what. When I was faced with helping Walmart Lube Express recognize their liability in the death of my car - they denied my claim (long story - the oil filter was not properly secured during an oil change, filter fell off during travel, drained the engine of all oil, engine seized...dead two days after oil change...I had to replace the engine), I didn't really know where to turn. Fortunately I came across Courtlinked.com early on in my research. The online submission was simple and straightforward, and once I had provided the details of my case, they went right to work.

As it turns out, the wheels of justice do not turn with anything that resembles speed, but the friendly folks at Courtlinked.com helped me keep on track, which included helping me change the date of my hearing when unexpected travel made it impossible for me to be in court on the originally-appointed day (we knew well in advance, but their help in requesting a new date, re-serving the summons to the defendant, etc. was invaluable).

They further helped me through the refiling process when the courthouse lost the proof of service that was sent to them well in advance of the updated hearing date, but that rescheduled date (relative to the original filing date) was past the time required for the judge to hear my case. They helped me through that mess and got me yet another hearing date.

Like a said, not a speedy process (14 months from the time my engine died to the final judgement), but the outcome was very favorable. The judge ruled in my favor (engine replacement and court fees) and two week later (today, in fact), Walmart delivered a check to my door.
