We received gift vouchers a couple of years ago for Christmas - just before the. Pandemic.
We booked treatment after treatment - all cancelled understandably due to COVID.
We were in the end able to book the Cowshed spa at the St Moritz hotel and told we could use our vouchers whilst there on holiday - so we booked, had our treatments, went to use the vouchers and weâre told we couldnât use them!!
They then closed loads of their spas and we moved out of London so it was now harder to use vouchers as most of the spas are now members only!
Cowshed subsequently (after much chasing) extended my vouchers, I tried to book treatments again and again but couldnât book online and nobody ever answered the phone at Primrose Hill spa. The only non members spa!!
Anyway I finally decided to use them online during the Boxing Day sale - went to put the codes in and they donât work!!
Cowshed have given me the absolute runaround, what a bloody joke dealing with them. Theyâve basically taken the money and wonât give us the opportunity to use our vouchers. Avoid buying gift vouchers is my recommendation!!
Cowshed use Hermes to deliver - don't expect to ever get your parcel!
For a luxury brand,I am extremely surprised to learn that Cowshed use Hermes as their delivery company. Hermes are so terrible that had I known this in advance, I wouldn't have ordered from Cowshed,and won't order from them again. It's a shame as I like their products.
On this particular occasion it is plastered all over Cowshed's website that if you order by 1pm on the 20th December,you will get your products in time for Christmas. I ordered on the 12th December, and am now stuck in purgatory, waiting for a package that I doubt I'll ever get. Hermes messed me around on the 16th and 17th of December,claiming they would deliver my parcel and then not appearing. My tracking information is stuck at that point,stating that they will deliver the next working day. It is now the 21st December (4 days later) and I have had zero updates.
I've attempted to get hold of Hermes (stupid me!) to no avail. I've also attempted to get hold of Cowshed. Again,to no avail. I get it,its Christmas,we're all very busy. What I take exception to is being told on the Cowshed website that they will guarantee Christmas delivery when they clearly can't. And I suppose I expected better service from a luxury brand than using the cheapest,most unreliable delivery company this country has to offer. To be fair to Cowshed,it does say in their delivery information on their website that they use Hermes. They'll probably tell me that I should have checked in advance.
AVOID ORDERING FROM COWSHED IF YOU EVER EXPECT TO RECEIVE YOUR GOODS!
A 'couldn't care less' attitude
Our parents â knowing we like their products â sent us a 'mother to be' pamper kit.
The gift arrived with a gift note that was so badly printed that the 'from' part of the message is not visible. Whoever was responsible for printing and packing clearly didn't give a damn, and we embarassingly had to ask friends and family to find out who it was from. Printing and packing errors can happen, people can be lazy or not care very much, which is disappointing for a supposedly premium brand. What's worse though is a complete absence of customer service in response to an avoidable error on their part.
I emailed 2 weeks ago, then again a week ago, and haven't even had a response let alone an apology.
Inexcusably poor service. Avoid!
If you want your product, order elsewhere.
Ordered an Ultimate Hamper (£100) on the Wednesday, was told it had been dispatched on the Friday, nothing by Wednesday - called them up for them to tell me that there was actually no stock (so why did they say it was dispatched??) and that they'd provide a refund - which as yet has still not arrived, however i will be following this up.
Their reasoning was that their stock levels had not updated - if they are charging all this money why do they not have an adequate inventory management system in place.
Good customer service would have been advising when the product will next be in stock and perhaps offering a complementary item for the error and time wasted.
I thought they were a little bit fancy going off the prices, but going off my experience and these reviews they clearly have absolutely no idea what they're doing. Avoid avoid avoid.

Poor, Item arrived in a filthy box, I returned the item but was still expected to pay the £4.95 delivery charge.

Do they really believe people are so stupid to pay for a bottle of reed diffuser that's reduced in size from 250ml to 100ml for the same price. My advice,don't bother with this company and if you want a product that's just as good,but far better value,look at items produced by Stoneglow.

Delivery didn't arrive.
Ordered an advent calendar for delivery to my daughter. As of today, 30.11.19 it hasn't arrived so the surprise is ruined. They ignored emails earlier in the week but finally answered the phone yesterday and said it would be delivered by 4.30 that evening which it wasn't. So I'm £100 out of pocket. Disgusted.

Website is not working for bookings so I called them. Asked for a facial and pedicure. I was asked what time I wanted them. Told her I didn't mind which day just wanted a late appointment - she didn't understand this. She just kept asking which day I wanted. She then proceeded to overtalk me and eventually hung up. That's one lost customer who will never be returning.
I never received the items which I bought
I bought two items on sales last month. I never received them. I spent my time on calls and sending emails. They said that the Hermes corieur lost them. Then they sent a new order using DPD corieur. I never received any parcel. I also noticed that they charge a tax on top of the delivery. I been offered some discount on a future order, but after this very bad experience I won't buy anything anymore from Cawshed, so, no good for me. I paid with paypall and I open a dispute , so I am sure that I will receive a full refund. I strongly not suggest to buy Cawshed on line. The delivery is very expensive with the tax ( I live in UK) and the corieur never delivery the items.

High spec products - Low spec Customer Services
Ordered on-line then spent 7 days chasing a missing order. Was told several times delivery would be 'tomorrow' - tomorrow never came (and neither did the delivery!). 7 phone calls later it seemed the agent really wanted me to cancel the order, rather than sort out the delivery issue. Phone calls and emails were promised but none were made or sent. In the end I did cancel (even though they offered me 20% refund for problems encountered) and I bought from another retailer whose service (and product) was excellent. Am awaiting the refund of my payment.... hopefully this will go through without issue. Cowshed are not unique - there are many other similar retailers out there - save yourself time, money and stress - choose one of them.....
