Will definitely buy again
Built my first pc yesterday and being new to all this kind of thing I looked up reviews after making the purchases. I got 90% of my parts from custompcparts.ie and upon looking up reviews started to slightly worry with some of the reviews on here, because let's face it people only pay attention to the bad reviews. From my experience anyway everything is good I got all my parts yesterday 9-1-2018 after ordering on New Year's Day. Any queries I had were answered fairly quick and one of my parts was not in stock so someone rang me to inform me of this and offered me a replacement. He said he would ship everything after the phone call and I had them the next morning. All in all I will definitely buy again when I can afford to upgrade to better parts.

10/10 Top Notch Service - My new supplier of Choice
Absolutely top notch service. I will definitely buy from this company again.
As an Engineer I like to build my own PC's I normally order from UK or abroad as we never had the facility for buying EVERYTHING you need for a PC online, locally in Ireland.
When I saw custompcparts.ie I was a little apprehensive, but decided that as this was a local Irish company I would give them a go. I ordered just after new year. Despite some bad weather, that disrupted logistics, they had my order complete & shipped to me within 5 days.
Everything was perfect, with the build, and I am using my new PC to write this review. Just as a note, I did contact sales support to ask about the order a couple of times, and EACH time, the phone was answered and my emails were responded to within 2 hours. (Despite a very busy period- Thank you Jason :)
Do not worry if your order stays at "Processing" this is just the system the company uses. Other companies may show picking, packing etc, this one does not. You will receive a shipping email with a tracking number from Nightline as soon as the order has shipped. I am really impressed with the service, and I will definitely be ordering my PC parts from here in the future.

Thank You for your review. I can tell you that we are adding additional order STATUS CODES in the coming months . We currently show PENDING , PROCESSING and COMPLETE however we will be adding AWAITING NON STOCK ITEM , AWAITING CUSTOMER RESPONSE . ORDER DELAYED and AWAITING DISPATCH. Our system also currently sends a PROCESSING email as day 3 and if the order has not shipped we also send an email on day 5 to confirm the order is PROCESSING.

Excellent service, I was let down the week before Christmas with a delivery from another supplier, I got in contact with custompc and within 2 days they delivered an order of 9 items to build a gaming pc which was a Christmas present for my son, they saved the day for me and made one boy very happy on Christmas morning.

Reasonable service, but could manage expectations better
I don't want to be too critical, as I ordered some components just before the Christmas break, when I knew it was a busy time; however, there was a very long period (17 days) when my order was marked as 'processing' with no other feedback as to what was going on. I contacted customer support after a week and was told that my order would be delivered the first week of January. It wasn't, so I contacted them again on the Monday of the second week. I got a prompt and apologetic response that bad weather had caused shipping delays, and that I'd receive my order in the next couple of days; and, as promised my order arrived the next day.
I understand that ordering over Christmas is likely to incur some delay, so the main feedback I would give is for the website to better manage expectations. If I could have looked at my account orders and seen a realistic delivery date that would have been far more reassuring than just seeing the order stuck at 'processing' for over two weeks - especially as the site claims that orders are delivered in 3-5 days.
One other piece of feedback is that the way the site pops up a request to join the mailing list a few seconds after navigating to any page is REALLY annoying - I must have dismissed this over 30 times whilst trying to finalize my order. Please just show this once and make it go away!!
At the end of the day, I am happy that I now have my delivery - it would have just been nice to have been given an idea up front as to how long it was likely to take, rather than thinking I would have it in 5 days.

I would first like to explain the reason your order took longer than the normal 3-5 business days. Your order was placed on the 22.12.2017 which was 4 days after the delivery deadline for Pre Christmas Delivery. It was stated on our website that orders placed after 3PM on the 18.12.2017 would not be processed until we reopened on the 03.01.2018. We close at this time of year as there are no shipments into Ireland from any carrier or distributor which means we cannot ship orders between the 21.12.2017 and the 03.01.2018. Our support help desk was open to assist customers on the 28th , 29th , 30th of December and on from the 2nd of January 2018.
Your order was processed on the 3rd of January 2018 and it was shipped with Nightline on the 8th of January 2018 with delivery to you on the 9th.
Please note that Nightlines schedule for last deliveries in 2017 had a cut off of the 20th of December 2017 with only deliveries on the 21st and 22nd.
We placed a large banner on the top left and on the centre of our home page on the 01.11.2017 stating the delivery schedule for Christmas and New Year

I am sorry you where unhappy with the delivery schedule over the holiday period but please understand we allowed orders to be placed and shipped right to the last safe moment before Christmas and we processed all orders placed after the deadline on the first day back in 2018. We genuinely worked very hard to ensure no order placed before the deadline ( and in fact 2 days after ) missed the Pre Christmas Delivery. It was however impossible for us to offer a delivery service between the 21.12.2017 and the 03.01.2018 for the reasons I have explained above.
Now to the newsletter... The popup should only appear on the Home Page and only when you navigate away ( move the cursor off the screen ). I do not understand why you are seeing the popup continously There is a redisign coming for the popup this quarter. If you can provide some more information such as the browser you where using we would like to understand and resolve the issue you experiences with the popup . Please email sales@custcompcparts.ie if you would like to offer your assistance with regards the issue you experienced with the popup .

I've had enough of this, my day was ruined because of custompcparts.ie and I've placed an order on 29 of December and it was with nightline.ie which I was happy to see that my son would get his present close to Christmas he said he doesn't mind at least I get for him but as it turned out they don't deliver on Christmas and I have to wait 2 weeks or more for it to arrive. Which nightline is 5days or less. I've contaced and asked for a refund but I got no response no refund no nothing I've probably contaced the site about 5 times and no response then I used pc tech.ie but they just ignored me and I've contaced customer support 3 times. All I want is a refund so I can get my son something else whatever he wants but I have to wait for their response for years

As was stated on our website since the 1st of November 2017 . The Deadline for Pre Christmas Delivery was the 18th of December 2017 at 3PM. Orders placed after the 20th of December had a processing date of the 3rd of January 2018 as there were no shipments into Ireland during the holiday period. This notice was on each page of our website and confirmed on the order confirmation page and in the order confirmation email. Your name is not associated with any order at www.CUSTOMPCPARTS.ie and it would be impossible for us to deliver a products ordered on the 29th of December 2017 for delivery on or before Christmas !!!

The order number you have provided is for a 3.5" 2TB Hard Disk Drive which was ordered on the 12.11.2017 and shipped on the 14.11.2017
There are no open support tickets associated with this order and no request for a refund !

I have looked at all tickets from the past 48 hours and I can see a note related to a customer enquirig about installing a HDD in a Console.
Unfortunately we do not support consoles and we cannot offer advice on how to install drives in these devices. You can still however contact
support and they will endeavour to offer you assistance but you must understand that we do not sell parts for consoles nor do we support consoles.
It is not our policy to refuse a refund where a customer has made a genuine mistake and this is clearly stated in our terms and conditions.
Good service, unusual ordering process
This is feedback intended for the company; I was concerned when I placed the order as I did not get a confirmation email, only a confirmation from ebay that I had paid a company called Custom Computers & Technologies Limited. When I contacted them online the response time was good ~1hr from support but I do think it is normal and reasonable to expect a confirmation email when the order is placed as well as an email when the order is dispatched.
The processing of the order took more time than I expected at 3 working days before notification but once it was dispatched it was delivered promptly by Nightline on the 4th day. The site did say 4-5 working days so delivery was on time, it was just the uncertainty due to no direct informative communication from the company. I will use again now that I am familiar with the process. Note custompc.ie requires a separate account even though the site layout is the same - That is likely to confound others as it did me.

First I would like to thank you for your review .
Now to the issues you have raised.
If you checkout using PayPal Express Checkout the order is processed by PayPal and they send you the order confirmation email . This is standard across all websites offering the PayPal Extress Checkout . We have rasied the issue with PayPal and their response was that the customer is using their PayPal account and will receive 2 emails from PayPal . I beleive their point was that a third email would be overkill !
You should however have received a dispatch email with a tracking from us the day prior to your delivery and an sms text or email direct from Nightline.ie on the day of the delivery.
We delivery 50% of orders within 3 Business Days , 85% within 4 Business Days with a 99.7% delivery rate within the stated 5 business day period . We are always working to improve these numbers however it is always going to be a balancing act based on the amount of products we offer versus the transit time to our logistic facility in Ireland.
The www.CUSTOMPC.ie website does not offer components for sale and is a stand alone specialist website offering custom desktop pcs and custom laptops and yes a new account is needed to shop there . We are launching a new website in 2018 which will combine the best of both websites. You can get a sneak peek by visiting www.TORQUEGAMING.ie . Here you will find custom pcs , laptops and components combined. www.CUSTOMPC.ie will become a sub store @ Torquegaming next year which means you will be able to have one account across all of our websites as well as earn loyalty points on one website and spend them on another.

We believe having one account / login will make ordering anything from a toner cartridge to a custom gaming laptop and everything in between far simplier .

For my first gaming PC it was nice to get something that was easy to upgrade. I bought some more parts afterwards and their support helped me with installation. They also have helped me pick new parts afterwards.
Delivery was fine too and everything works as expected.

Your order was placed on the 7th of November at 15.44 which makes the first day of processing for your order the 8th of November 2017 . Orders placed after 3PM are processed next business day. We shipped the order to you on the 10th of November at 13.34. There was only 3 business days between receipt and shipment of the order.

The Logitech G300s is was an End of Life item and is no longer listed on our website and has been removed from the manufacturers feed however

You should have received a dispatch email with tracking information on the 10th of November when your order shipped . In this you will find the NCSM code which will show you the time and date we shipped and the time and date your signed for your order.
I am sorry you were not satisfied with the service but please understand the time frame for this delivery was within the specified time frame and that we do not offer a weekend delivery service.
Regards datasheets we input over 1000 new datasheets each month as well as subscribing to 2 services in an effort to ensure the data on our website is up to date and detailsed . There are different datasheet types from each manufacturer and some will be more detailed than others . All went ok, got the delivery in time in perfect condition. (Pc components)
The only cons, I got contacted a day before the pack arrived. Luckily I was home at that time.
Would be better if the time could be choosen for parcel taking.
All in all I recommend custompc.

Unfortunately this delivery option is not available with any delivery company in Ireland. We send a delivery email the day before delivery and our carrrier Nightline send an email and or SMS Text with delivery information on the day of delivery. Their text and email offers a delivery window timeframe ( 2 Hours ) and options to change the delivery time. This is not a perfect system howeer from our experiece this is the best service from any carrier in Ireland at this time . I can confirm we have trialled a number of carriers over the last 2 years and we have found the service from Nightline.ie to be the best for nationwide deliveries. Thank You for your review.

I’ve purchased from these guys on a few occasions and I would have say the website is quite lacking, very slow and not a great user experience. It’s very buggy, especially in the order process. The items I’ve ordered have always arrived in good condition but delivery times are beyond what would usually work for us. Communication was very poor whenever I tried to contact them. I completely dispute their claim that they have phone service during business hours, I have never been able to get an answer from any of their phone numbers, only answering machines. Email response is slow and curt. I have never seen the live chat option actually operational. In fairness, they do list items that are difficult to get in Ireland but since they have a slow turnaround the stock is clearly being ordered back to back and isn’t ideal if you’re in a rush. If you’re not, then yes you can get good value here.

David , We have improved the performance of www.CUSTOMPCPARTS.ie by increasing the band width as well as the specification of the servers hosting our website. Our websites uptime for example in the last 60 days was at 100% whilst the previous 60 days was at 99.68% . Earlier in the year we had a larger than expected increase in visitors which resulted in sluggish performance at busy times . Our website offers filters across the products and this is very server intensive however it was our decision to make this a fandamental part of our website. We have a core range of products in stock here in Ireland and our stock levels cover over 600 products with a cost of over €750K . We offer just under 10000 producst at www.CUSTOMPCPARTS.ie from over 200 manufacturers which makes it impossible to stock everything listed on our websites. We process orders same day once placed before 3PM and no item ordered should take longer than 48 hours to reach our logistics facility in Carlow. This is why we state delivery in 2-5 business days . There will always be exceptions however 99.7% of all orders in 2017 were delivered within 5 business days with 21% Next Day and 78% within 4 business days. We are working to improve this however there is a balance betewen the range we offer and the delivery times. In an effort to make our customers more aware we will be adding a delivery notice to the product pages which will show items that are available from Irish stock for next day delivery as well as showing estimated delivery times for all other stock . We are not aware of any bugs in the Checkout process and we would br grateful if you would pin point your issue and drop us an email to sales@custompcparts.ie .. Our Live Chat is available Monday to Friday between 10AM and 5PM as is our telephone service. If the Live Chat is offline or busy you will see a MESSAGE option which we answer usually within a few minutes. Our telephone service is managed and all calls in and out are logged which is to improve performance. Your 3 orders show dispatch times of 4 Days , 2 Days and 4 Days and as already said we are trying to improve delivery times however this will always be a balancing act between range and time.
