False Promises, Zero Customer Service

In all honesty, the review should be 0/5 - Placed a preorder for a product in May 2023 for something that was expected to ship in July of the same year. Absolutely zero contact from the company after the initially placing the order, no product delivered. When contacting them they advise that they are waiting for the supplier for stock. Seems to be a pattern with them based on feedback on here as well as other places like Reddit and Instagram. It seems they take pre-orders despite knowing whether they will receive any stock to fulfill. They finally confirm in February 2024 that it cant be delivered and have the audacity to offer store credit. Finally get them to accept a refund, but as of 22nd July 2024 I am still waiting for this to be refunded. My advice is to avoid this company at all costs there are better retailers out there. I would also raise a dispute with visa/mastercard should you be in a similar situation where they are offering no delivery or refund.

Although I love the company

Although I love the company, I have paid for my membership on time; however, I hand never received my boxes. I have made many attempts to contact someone, but, all I get is "please be patient". It's been over a year! How patient must I continue to be.

Reddit confirmed Daebak does not deliver their product consistently

Daebok has: taking my payment, sent me multiple emails to review their product, which they never sent. The whole experience has been a disappointing waste of time.

Ordered this in May 2024. It is mid-July. I've sent emails via the company website, and from my email. The last emails I sent requesting receipts via outlook. The emails are delivered but there's no response.

The website says "If you do not receive your package 3 weeks after receiving your tracking information, please contact our customer team."

Reddit shows a number of people who never received product or waited more than 6 months for something that was supposed to be sent in 3 weeks.

A few people reported a good experience but that doesn't help me and all of the other people paid for a product and were strung along only to feel lied to by Daebak box.

DO NOT SHOP HERE 😄

I’ve ordered before and had minor issues with this company but stupidly over looked it and purchased something again 😪.

My most recent order is from May 9th 2024.
I found three drama ost that I really wanted, it was way overpriced but Daebak was the only company I found that had it in stock. Two weeks after placing the order I noticed that it didn’t ship out so I contacted them via email and they stated it took 20-30 days. Okay no problem, after 30 days there was still no updates. I emailed at least 3 times before I finally got a response. I asked for an order cancellation and refund. They offered a giftcard in the orginal amount plus $10. 🤣

I said no and asked for a refund back to the original payment method. They sent a google docs link for me to fill out and I did it immediately, at this point it was June 13th. They mentioned that it would take 5-7 days and guess what happened after 7 days? still no refund. I emailed yet again and still haven’t heard back. Thank God I have a good bank and they credited me immediately while they investigate. Today is July 11th and I still haven’t heard anything ! 🥴

Scammer company

Never shipped my Summer and Fall 2023 Daebak boxes. Keeps making false promises to do better but is not actually taking any steps to act on it. Scammer and shameless

I ordered Daebak two years ago

I ordered Daebak two years ago. I only received 2 of 4 boxes. I complained multiple times, was charged a second time, had to call my credit card company to cancel/dispute the charges. This has been a mess! I wish I'd never wasted $200 on 2 boxes of junk.

Suspicious Scam Company Won't Refund Me

I ordered from this company last year and had no issues, so I ordered something from them again in December. I did not hear an update about my order for many months, even after emailing the company and getting very generic replies. I then received an email in June stating that the reason that I hadn't heard anything about my order is because they sold me an item that they did not have in stock. I have since been trying to cancel my order and get my money back, but they have been ignoring me. I just want my money back. This company needs to stop selling more items and complete orders for those who want it and refund everyone else.

Update August 5 2024: They have just sent me an email telling me that they cannot refund me my money because of an "issue on our online shops". Totally ridiculous.

Update September 23 2024: I have been sent an email asking for information to provide me a refund and to set up a meeting to 'apologise'. Here is part of the email sent to me
"Could you please provide the following details:
* Bank Account Number (and Bank Code, if available)
* Name associated with the Bank Account
* Phone Number
* Address

We would like to arrange an online meeting with you next week to discuss the matter in more detail and personally apologize for the situation."

This seems incredible suspicious and I once again ask Daebak company to simply refund my money using the payment method that I used, the way that every other company on the planet is capable of doing. How can any company act this suspiciously and still act as though they are a legitimate business? I also went to the website after receiving this email and it no longer exists. Do not provide them any extra personal information and continue to push for your refunds.

daebak box scam

Ordered the daebak box annual plan over a year ago and haven't received any boxes. I just recently (a month ago) received another "your box is ready to ship" email, complete with a tracking number that indicates the shipper is still waiting to receive the package. I had received a response from customer service about my previous box a week before this that said they lost their VC funding and couldn't ship anything as a result. Don't waste your money - you're never going to receive anything.

When I first ordered my shipments arrived kinda fast and erverything was ok... Then i ordered a few items again and i took almost A YEAR to get to me. I wrote them a few times an they said they were sorry so at first it was fione for me. But when the package arrived
I´ve seen products that i didn´t ordered because they replaced items i ordered with other ones without asking. And i didn´t got any refund or a sorry...

DO NOT AND PLEASE NEVER BUY FROM DAEBAK.CO

Hellooo! I am here to give you an honest review on this company/store whatever.

So I bought P1Harmony photobook merch with the amount of $110 something. And then I bought another item which was P1harmony Killin It album, two version, which was $73. It’s been 4/5 months after the purchase, yet, I still don’t have any new information and whereabouts on the items I have BOUGHT. I cannot find any info on how to file a refund on the store directly. Good thing (maybe) I bought it with klarna and I am in process of getting my refund funds from this scammy store. I have emailed the Daebak Company Customer Service but I didn’t get anything. I emailed them for the first time and they get to me really fast, that I thought oh, this store is legit (little do I know). They responded with saying sorry for the inconvenience and yada-yada, then gave me a store credit which was like a balance I think. Then I emailed again and again, the second time I emailed it took WEEKS for them to answer me. They said that Daebak Company is going through some rough time or whatever and put COVID-19 as an excuse, they also said that they need the government to pay them(?) or whatever so the huge packages can be shipped to the Daebak Company. It’s crazy that it seems like this store is a selective scammer? They have customers that get their orders and got fast shipping, but a LOT of us got nothing and aren’t even able to get our money’s back. For such a huge company like this, this is so horrible! the customer service and everything is so awful even the excuses are so ridiculous! I spammed email them back and forth and never got anything from them. If you’re still doubting I suggest you to NOT buy from them. This company is a scam.

Terrible company …. I have ordered 3 things from them over the last year and never received. I have emailed continuously with no response or refund . This company should be shut down !!

It has been half a year and I'm still waiting....

It has been 7 months since I pre-ordered a magazine and the magazine has been released for 6 months now. The tracking number provided was not legit and provided 0 information on my order. When they finally responded to my many emails they said it was apart of a large pickup that they are waiting on and they will update me when it ships. It's been 2 months! with 0 updates. This is not the first time they have been unable to fulfill my order and they have not responded to my emails. It was my mistake in trusting them. Their excuse is Covid but how can other companies be able to ship overseas with no issues, no outrageous waits and they are still "struggling" to send me a magazine??
Do not order from them! It has been such a horrible experience purchasing through them.

Terrible

Terrible. I had a quarterly subscription with them for several years and quite enjoyed it, but something really went off the rails last year and they're not being at all transparent or helpful about it. Like many others, I still haven't gotten my Summer 2023 box, originally expected in June 2023, then November 2023, and now apparently never. In January, they also promised to send "extra gifts" to those waiting for their long overdue summer boxes, but nothing has materialized, nor have they addressed the issue since. Any time I emailed them for an update or a refund, I got strung along to wait just a little longer, and now they don't bother to reply to my emails anymore. Shameful, unethical behavior.

I really loved this company and was a long time subscriber. :c I gave them leeway with order fulfillment because I was going to be out of the country for about a year. I am now back and my 2023 seasonal box still hasn't been fulfilled. On their FB group page someone said that their email address to inquire about items is now deactivated so there's that. Someone else said they received an email from DaebakSupport saying: "Here’s the message from our CEO, Howard Cho about the status of your orders: Summer Boxes are on hold from Shipper in the US - due to outstanding balance (around 30K) - they hold our packages for collateral"....So unless they receive that govt grant and pay off that 30k, we're not receiving anything. Yet, Daebak is still posting on instagram pushing items and subscriptions and acting like nothing is wrong.
