Tenacious and dedicated !

Thank is how I would describe the staff at de Havilland. My buy-to-let mortgage was complicated by cladding issues, lenders changing terms, dysfunctional landlords and unresponsive automated legal services chosen by the lender. Without the due care of the DeHav team, this would have never got completed. I didn't have the time to dedicate myself to getting this done and these guys stepped in an were amazing. I am very grateful!

Exceeding Expectations

As inexperienced home buyers utilizing the Help to Buy program, we were filled with uncertainty regarding the biggest decision of our lives. de Havilland Group's was recommended to.us by our friends who used their services multiple times. Neil, Mark, Andzelika, and Gosia provided exceptional care. Their professionalism, patience, and helpfulness were exemplary, as they repeatedly explained everything to us until we felt comfortable. Despite facing several obstacles with our Help to Buy application, Mark worked tirelessly to secure a mortgage deal just before Christmas, even while on leave. We believe no one else could have offered us the kind of unwavering support provided by de Havilland Group. We highly recommend their services.

Communication is key when doing anything mortgage based and both Neil and Gosia were absolutely amazing throughout.
Due to other parties involved our staircasing was a really difficult case but Neil and Gosia were both quick to action anything they could to make the situation smoother and we're the first people in touch with us everytime.

As a first time buyer there are few things more daunting than approaching your first mortgage, particularly in the financial minefield the country is currently in.

Mark and his team were absolutely phenomenal from the start. Mark’s knowledge and willingness to take the time to understand all of our circumstances was exactly the reassurance that we needed as first time buyers. No problem was too much for him, not only that but once we had our mortgage offer in place, he continued to work behind the scenes, and with his knowledge and contacts actually still managed to switch us to a better deal as market conditions improved before completion on our property.

de Haviland is a really good comany, reliable trustworthy and competent. I worked with them for purchasing my flat and I was very pleased with the work. I remembered the service as a positive one so I reached out 5 years after and contacted again to get advice on further matters related to the mortgage and affordability. Neil was incredibly helpful in both instances, advising and securing a mortgage. The process went smoothly and quickly. I could rely on Neil's help and support in what is often a challenging period and I could clearly understand all the numbers and parameters for affordability. Being a first time UK home buyer, there was much to learn but Sarah and Gosia were professional, thorough, easy to understand, and perhaps most importantly when entering into a major decision, friendly and very thoughtful in listening to my individual circumstances. Sarah made herself available on numerous occasions to walk me through the specifics and Gosia followed through the process across what was a long one due to the new build’s on-site works. They were recommended to me for a reason, I will not doubt be recommending them to others.

Neil has been communicative and engaged the whole way through, at every stage he has explained what was happening and the options available to us along with why he was making particular recommendations. This made the stress of a house purchase much easier to deal with knowing that Neil was looking after our mortgage and related products, he was professional throughout and his experience showed.

Excellent! Would give more stars if I could. When started looking for my first mortgage, I naturally contacted top results of the Google search list for mortgage advisors. As my circumstances weren't ideal, all immediately lost interest, no replies, lots of chaising, 'maybe-s' and so forth.
I emailed De Havilland having almost lost hope in getting any deal ,all changed - Neil responded immediately with very clear plan of a ton, simple form to fill in and since then my confidence grew. With support from Gosia that followed I was feeling great confidence in securing the mortgage and yes, got very good deal from big lender. I can't recommend highly enough, big thank you guys!

Our business relationship with De-Havilland Group goes back a few years 25 to be precise, when we were buying our first property a Barratts House. Sarah was sat in the Barratts building site in a makeshift office (I think). We inspected the architect's model houses within a glass showcase, from the corner of my eye I saw someone waving & beckoning us to come into the office. I looked behind us there was no one else behind us, so we thought we step into the office room. It only took a few minutes we got our first ideal mortgage and made a ton of money investing in that house. Since then we've progressed onto buying few other properties mortgaged through Sarah Martin ie. De Havilland. It has been a successful journey thus far, and long may it last!

Neil Moakes has done our mortgages for years and there's a reason we keep coming back to him every time.
When we were first time buyers years ago buying with shared ownership, Neil was brilliant at guiding us through the process. He clearly explained what everything meant and what the implications were of different options so that we could make informed choices without feeling like we were being pushed too much in a particular direction.

Each time we've remortgaged or staircased (and on some other insurance matters as well) we've gone back to Neil. He's an expert that we trust and you can ask him a basic question without feeling like an idiot.
