The employees are supposed to represent the brand, not this store. Brooklyn DXL store has employees wearing ripped jeans, hippy shirt and sneakers. Employees are supposed to make you want to shop, not run out the door. Cashier had an attitude. First time and last time walking into dxl. My money was well spent at Macyâs big and tall section across the street.

Great store if u don't have to anything online ,I went the store didn't see any of the coats I saw on the website ,I went to the cashier and she said I could order it online at the store and have it delivered to the store I agreed after 9 days still no email telling me to pick up my coat so on the 10th day I called the store manager tell me he checked my order and it was just shipped that it would take 6-7 more days I asked for a refund and was told I have to wait 6-7 days until the item (coat) gets delivered to the store so I could get my cash refund .17 days to have something delivered not once did they say I'm sorry for the inconvenience felt like I was ordering something from China , Guess I'm outta luck with snow on the forecast tomorrow ,greatly disappointed customer

I have been a returning customer for around 17 years, and today when I went to the store, I pay full price for pants, shirt, and tie, Several years back someone decided to get rid of the Rewards Cards. The salesperson informs me it was 30% off if you purchase two. You would think that someone in Marketing, would understand one thing about big men, they want and like a discount. This group of hotshot managers has forgotten, the 80/20 rule.

Placed an order online and with my promo code the order was $255. I received a confirmation e mail and my total was $330. The $330 was my orfer order total befote the coupon was applied. I called their customer service line. I was told since I had a discounted item in my cart the promo didnt apply. Why didnt it tell me that when I placed my order? No notice my price changed until the acknowledgement. I informed the customer service rep to cancel my order. He did not. The order shipped 2 hours after I called. This company is not to be trusted. Fraudulent business practices. Buyer beware!

DXL exploits over weight people. Absolute top dollar for low quality products. And, they bombard you with ârewardsâ but donât honor them when combined with other coupons. Example, 20 dollar gift card for my birthday, 25 dollars reward to be used in a two week period. Today is Veterans Day and they wonât honor their sale with my other coupons mentioned above (what is supposed to be cash) rewards. Getting good value here is not possible. Kohlâs and jc penny, here I come!!

I am so disappointed in this store that I finally got my husband to go to. The name is DXL, and they literally did not have one shirt, top or sweater in XL. Lots available in 1XL - 6XL. Didn't help us.
We were persuaded to order onine, which we did. The order came and one of three sweaters was the wrong size.
We returned the incorrect size and another customer was buying merchendise using coupons. The salesperson did not offer us anything, and I see online, that if you spend $100, you can get $30 off. We did spend a total of over $100. I'm not likely to buy more from this company, unless someone reaches out to us and makes this right. Ifeel that we were not treated well. This is not how you make repeat customers.
Update: Through online chatting, I was given a cust. service no. to call. By providing all details of the transaction, I was given a $35 credit towards the purchase. Grateful for that, but wondering why it will take 7-10 business days for the credit to show up on my credit card.
New update: 10/20/19 -
The $35 credit that I was promised never appeared on my credit card statement. I called cust. service again, and was told there was no info. regarding my refund. The agent said she needed to issue a new 'ticket' and needed my credit card info., which I provided. I'm supposed to see the credit in another 7-10 business days. This is horriblet cusomer service. I should be offered a lot more than the $35 at this point, for all the inconvenience and negligence.

This is part of the email I was sent 2 days ago- "On 10/7/19 we refunded $50 back to the Visa credit card used at the store on 9/30/19. As a courtesy we applied a coupon which would have given you more savings then the original $35.
With the Columbus Day holiday, Tuesday 10/22/19 would be the 10th business day from the 7th.
Please let us know if you still don't see the refund after Tuesday.

Do not purchase online. Iâve shopped here for over 5 years but never online. I made my first online purchase and 3 if the items didnât fit me right so I drive over to the store to return them. The salesman was clearly annoyed that I purchased online and was there in the store to return them but I did anyways. 6 days later I have a receipt but no money. I called customer service and they are looking into it. If I remember correctly it was easy give them my money but getting it back so far has proved difficult. Worst customer service ever I ordered several items online and paid for them with a gift card which I had received for Christmas. The total was more than the gift card amount so I paid the rest with a charge card. Three days later I receive an email telling me that 5 of the items are unavailable. Their office chairs are very cheaply made and break down within a couple of weeks of use. Ordered a chair rated to hold 1,000 lbs. I am half that. Chair failed at a joint three weeks after receiving. Reported that to DXL and they sent a second chair. It too failed in the exact same way withing three weeks. Took both chairs to a local welder to repair and both chairs failed in a different place within four weeks of use. The welder warned me that the chairs were poorly made. He was right.
I purchased some items yesterday at your DXL Harrisburg, PA location for a wedding I have today and the shoes I bought seemed to fit in store and the sales associates assured me that if they didnât end up fitting well that I could return them. Well I wore them around the house for a bit to see if they would hurt my feet as I will need to wear them for an entire day and after a few hours of wear I already started forming blisters on the sides of my toes/foot and my feet started throbbing. I went to return them today as I needed to buy a wider better fitting shoe and I was told they could not return them because they were worn. 1. I was told IN STORE that I could if they didnât fit comfortably due to my reservation about my wider feet hurting.
2. I spent $150 on a pair of dress shoes that I can never wear again on top of having to spend another $75 on another pair that I can wear.
I used to love shopping here due to great selection you have for my larger size but now I just feel taken advantage of by 2 sales associates that knew no matter what they said to me they could always fall back on âitâs our company policyâ. I will no longer shop at any DXL store or website!!! This is by far some of the worst customer service I have ever received considering the amount of money I spent yesterday not to mention all the years of patronage I have given the DXL/Casual Male XL brand. My daughter is getting her Doctorate in Ministry degree in a few weeks and I needed a makeover to attend- not fancy but a little nicer than my norm as a Preacher/Construction Missionary . I went to the Kingston Pike, Knoxville store. Kevin Bass was outstanding. He listened, knew his products, helped me find what I needed suggesting, but not overselling. Customer service unsatisfactory!!!! Yesterday evening while visiting your Corpus Christi store, your store manager and another employee decided that it was more important to carry on with their conversation then to aid me and my wife. In the past, the customer service there was impeccable, not anymore though. After we opened and tried on several shirts, we decided to leave, then the manager stopped to ask if they could help us. What happened to helping paying customers? Talking, restocking, and answering the phones are much more important then tending to those who are physically present in the store, I take it.

I would give zero stars if I could. I will never shop at a DXL again and will be warning others of thier shoddy products and return policies. In march I overly paid fortwo pair of thier harbor bay active fit jeans. Within a months time both have ripped at the inseam I tried to return the first pair as they tore after only 3 wears and was told I could get nothing for them.Now the second pair has ripped in the same way.
