Great, would have been excellent except for one thing.
I recently had to shop for some new suits, I went into store near me and had a wonderful experience.the rewards and points are great and makes you eager to shop more. I love the quality of the items I have purchased, I spent around $2000 this month alone and am excited for my purchases. I had some nice points and thought to myself I should buy a nice warm weather suit, so I bought a nice flax/linen suit online. I can't say I was happy with the way it was packaged and shipped, being that it is linen , linen can crease very easily and be quite hard to get it back to the proper state if it isn't cared for properly, so I was not very happy with that detail ....I am hoping I can get this suit in tip top shape after it was careless packaged and shipped. Linen should be treated as a fragile merchandise. Love this company, just a bit disappointed with that.

Managers are cold calling...
Having a manager of a store forcibly request reasons why previous clients haven't been in to buy things is pathetic. Find a better way to market, managers have more important things to do than to do this. I probably won't even go back based on this experience. Treating managers like that is pathetic. I understand the manager doesn't have a choice, but the regional managers do. Do a better job.
Edit: I appreciate the reply, but store operations thinking there is value in calling customers to ask them why they haven't been in the store is awful. The call is so awkward, too. Store managers are not CSMs designated to cold calling, so expecting them to do it well is terrible mismanagement and disrespect to people's job titles. It's bad enough they deal with the average retail experience, but now they have to invade people's account information and cold call? Gross.

I had forgotten our really amazing coupon that we got in the mail and still made our purchase at the store but at full price because we had forgotten our coupon. And the cashier actually gave us a coupon to help. So I called the customer service line and I received a refund for the coupon I had at home! The full amount was refunded as if I had the coupon while shopping! They are amazing! I will definitely shop at DXL again! My husband loves the styles and quality! Totally worth it! The clothes last a really long time and my husband is hard on clothes. So thank you DXL! You guys rock!

He also had the common sense, a very rare commodity it would appear, not to shout to get my attention and distract me, whilst I was using a machine tool, which can be a dangerous thing to do.

Spammers. Despite allegedly opting out of communications three separate times, I recently received 37 email solicitations from this company within a 30 day period. One day they sent five separate unwanted and irrelevant posts. I was satisfied well enough with prior purchases many months ago, but the modest savings were not worth the subsequent hassle.
As requested in the reply below, I emailed DXL as requested. The address given bounced back (even when the space was removed).

I attempted to purchase a winter coat online. I selected the color and size but the website did not allow me to place my order. I called, spoke with someone who placed my order. Days later I had not received an acknowledgement of the order. During a 'live chat' I was told that telephone orders did not generate an email acknowledgement. The person checked and discovered the order had been canceled due to lack of inventory. I was then told that the coat was available in a different color. I asked that an order be placed for the different color in the same size. I was then told that the size I ordered was not correct. The sizes listed on the DXL website were not what the representative said were correct. So, I ended up not being able to order the coat I wanted even though the website showed it as available in the size I wanted. I would not have gone to the website if it were not for the corona virus. I had a gift card to use and am not not sure I even want to attempt to order something else. I have no idea why the website and customer service have different information. It makes purchasing from the website impossible!

This company is really something else I order around $130 dollars worth of clothing and it fall off my account and than charged me $23 just because they were only able to shipped one shirt at the time. This causes my bank account to block me and to unblock it i have to sit on the phone at least 40 to and hour to get my account unblock and I don't know how many times they are going to keep doing this to me until they mail all the items.
I call customer service and spoke to surge and all he said this is how the company works. This is the first and last time I buy from them.

I'd give these aholes NO stars if I could. THE WORST customer service on the planet and a bunch of liars. I placed an order Nov. 13th for 2 pairs of pants. I then wait and wait - no shipping notice. Then I had to call them. I'm staying in an extended stay Townplace suites until our house is ready. And because the shipping address was different than billing then held my order up but didn't contact me. I got in touch with them they apologized and supposedly upgraded to express shipping. Then the next day I get an email saying one of the pants isn't available so I call again. Then the rep says oh no that's not right we have both and they have shipped. Two days later I get ANOTHER email saying they don't ship to Hotels anymore but yet they REAUTHORIZED my card. I called told them what Pieces of DUNG they are and that I'd never order from them again - Forget this place they totally suck

I love buying items from DXL over Sears, Kohls and all of their other big & tall competition. The quality is better, they don't shrink, mis-shape and they're reliable brands, including Harbor Bay among others.
The problem I have is this, if I'm spending $200-500 in clothing, and I purchase them online, why is it taking almost 3 weeks for me to get them? That's unacceptable in comparison to modern standards, I live within the continental 48 states and yours is the only brand I've encountered in the last decade plus that cannot get me my products within 5 days.
I don't think I've waited more than 3-4 from anyone who offers free shipping, whereas with your brand, its weeks upon weeks.
Its outrageous and pushes me to purchase elsewhere knowing it could be a few weeks minimum before I receive what I paid for and no interim communication whatsoever around its availability etc... Your website is finicky at best and I've tried accessing it from a desktop and a mobile device with the same results. Why create an account if it doesn't remember my order history? Instead i find myself fishing through my email from 2 weeks ago looking for order numbers just so I can find a tracking number that tells me, you guessed it, I'm still waiting another week.
Your brand won't improve until how you manage your end user improves and right now, I'm ready to be done with you guys after spending over $100,000 with you guys, let that sink in.

I've been a customer for over 10 years at DXL, and I feel as I've been discarded. I ordered 3 shirts from them, got one at the store, and two on order a month and a half ago. They keep delaying the order and call customer service and all they do is be dishonest and apologize and delay (which is useless). What a way to treat a customer. Then they hang up without even giving a crap and just refunding. Please, if you can't meet an order due to the pandemic be honest about trade issues, don't give runaround to snuff money from customers. Ulysses, worst manager ever.

I used to be a fan of DXL, not anymore.
I understand that everyone is taking precautions during covid, and I fully support that and applaud that. However. There are exceptions to the mask rukes for a reason.. some people aren't able to wear them for MEDICAL reasons.
I have a disabled husband with breathing problems due to a bad heart. He wears an in between size, so I always take him in to shop because we need to be able to hold the shirts up to him in order to judge sizes. We go to the store today, and can i say that taking him out in public right now is dangerous because he is high risk? There is no one in the store, im wearing a mask, but the employee, who by the way was a notty little a-hole, told us we couldn't come in unless my husband was wearing a mask too. Even after advising that he can't wear a mask because it impacts his breathing.
Congrats, you have lost out on thousands of dollars of revenue. We purchase items from there all the time and at 50 bucks a shirt? You guys are going to kill your customer base.
