I've been a Discord user since 2017. Recently, my account was hijacked while Discord was blocked in Turkey (since Oct 9, 2024). During my absence, someone gained unauthorized access, changed my password, and enabled 2FA without my knowledge.

When I tried to recover the account, I discovered I couldn't reset the password due to the unauthorized 2FA. I still have full access to the original email and phone number linked to the account — and I provided multiple proofs of ownership.

Despite this, I submitted over five tickets, and Discord Support did nothing but mark each one as “solved” without replying properly. No investigation, no escalation, no real human interaction. The only response I received was a repeated suggestion to delete my account and create a new one. That is not a solution. That is negligence.

Eight years of history, communities, messages, and personal connections are being wiped out — and Discord is simply brushing me off.

I strongly urge Discord to review their support system, escalate serious account hijackings properly, and stop auto-closing unresolved cases. This is unacceptable for a platform that handles sensitive user data.

I was banned from Discord on June 9, 2025, for “ban evasion” — something I never committed. I’ve never had any other banned accounts, and I’ve always followed the rules. This accusation is completely false and extremely unfair.

Since the ban, I’ve been trying to contact Discord through the official email linked to my account. I followed every instruction they gave, but all I received were automated responses. No real human has ever reviewed my case, and I’ve been completely blocked from the platform ever since.

I also opened a formal complaint through the Better Business Bureau (BBB), but even that hasn’t helped resolve the issue yet. I can’t access my communities, my study groups, or my friends.

I am asking Discord to take responsibility, review my case properly, and restore my account. This situation has gone on for over two weeks with no resolution. It is unacceptable.

The most useless app I've ever encountered. Customer service is non-existent. I've tried to resolve a problem via their ticket process and they only supply pre-written "solutions" that do not resolve my problem.

Discord wird einfach nur noch schlimmer und ist einfach nur noch die schlechteste App! Auch wenn die App auf 4,3 Sternen im App Store steht, gibt es immer neue schlechtere änderungen. Ganz zu schweigen davon: Ein Bot bzw. Bot Entwicklern wird damit gedroht, dass sie die Bots ausschalten werden, weil mal was geleakt wurde. Ich kann den Bot nicht mehr benutzen, obwohl ich dort ein Lifetime Abo abgeschlossen habe. Was auch so dumm von Discord ist, dass sie nicht mal den Entwicklern Zeit geben, eine Antwort zu verfassen, nein Discord möchte auf 12 Stunden direkt eine Antwort haben.
Danke Discord dass der Bot, den ich benutzt habe, nicht mehr Funktioniert! Das war der beste Bot, den ich benutzt habe aber dank euch kann ich ihn nicht mehr benutzten!

2. Immer wieder merke ich, dass Discord vorhat, mich zu sperren oder mein Konto zu deaktivieren. Einmal (letztes Jahr im Dezember) wurde einfach so mein Konto deaktiviert, wahrscheinlich aufgrund eines Technischen Defekts? Trotzdem wurde ich zum Glück nicht eingeschränkt.

Heute, Juni 2025, wollte ich auf dem Bleeds Bot Server Premium für meinem Server kaufen. Leider habe ich 2 mal das falsche Abo gekauft, was auch über Discord läuft und mir das nicht einmal richtig erklärt wurde, welches Abo ich kaufen soll, damit ich Premium bekomme. Als ich dann das richtige Abo abgeschlossen habe, wollte ich die 2 Beträge und noch ein anderen Abo, wo ich den Fall wieder geschlossen habe, wieder rückerstattet haben. Ich habe dann statt über den Support, direkt bei meinem Zahlungsdienstleister PayPal ein Fall geöffnet, damit ich das Geld wieder so schnell wie möglich rückerstattet wird. Später erhielt ich eine Nachricht, dass mein Konto eingeschränkt wurde, da ich eine Rückbuchung bzw ein Fall geöffnet habe. Ich habe noch nicht mal das Geld zurückbekommen, sondern nur ein Fall geöffnet und schon bekomme ich eine Verwarnung? Ist das euer Ernst? Ich habe Einspruch gegen die 2 Warnungen eingelegt, was auch akzeptiert wurde und dann wurden die Verwarnungen entfernt. Da ich aber ein 3. Fall geöffnet habe, wurde dann mein Konto deaktiviert! Das ist echt eine Unverschämtheit dass mein Konto wegen 2 von 3 Fällen wegen eine Anfrage auf Rückbuchung deaktiviert wird! Außerdem habe ich auch ein haufen Geld für mein Server dagelassen, aber mich dann wegen 2 falschen Käufen, die ich zurückerstattet habe mein Konto zu deaktivieren, ist schon widerlich! Bald wechsle ich zu Teamspeak wenn das so weitergeht!

My account was disabled without warning or explanation (I didn't even receive an email saying that I had violated the rules). I never broke any rules, yet Discord support just sent me an automated reply from a bot and refused to explain why I was banned. I spent over $50 on Nitro and cosmetics, and I used the account for both personal and business communication. Their system flagged me as a “spammer” just because I was typing in chat during a voice call with my friends. I explained this and sent proof, but they ignored it and closed the case. I’ve filed a BBB complaint and will escalate further. Discord's support has become completely unresponsive and robotic. Real users are being treated like garbage

Banned unjustly for something sent to me. Discord uses AI bots for support and ban detection and it is frustrating.

I’ve been using Discord for a while now, and while it’s super convenient for voice chats, communities, and even screen sharing, the interface could really use some work. It just feels cluttered and overwhelming, especially for new users.

That said, once you get used to it, it’s actually pretty easy to navigate and does the job well. Notifications work fine, and joining servers is smooth. Just wish they’d clean up the layout a bit.

Le staff de ce serveur discord fait cela depuis des mois et des mois, voici quelques messages qu'ils ont oubliés de supprimer:

Il supprime systématiquement les messages après les ban, ce que j'ai pu copier est ce qu'il a oublié de supprimer, donc je n'imagine pas la quantité de victimes de ce réseau.

Le harcèlement envers de jeunes utilisateurs peut être extrêmement dangereux et mener à des suicides ou des réactions disproportionnées,
Il n'est pas normal que je signale ce serveur et cet administrateur depuis deux mois sans qu'aucunes action ne soit prise.

Il est temps d'agir, depuis mes signalements des centaines de jeunes ont été vitcimes de ce réseau dans l'indifférence de discord qui ignore les signalements !!

No dia 6 de junho de 2025, minha conta do Discord (usuário: godsalvedmee) foi suspensa por uma suposta violação das regras de segurança infantil, o que me chocou completamente.

Eu nunca postei, compartilhei ou interagi com nenhum conteúdo desse tipo. No momento da suspensão, eu estava apenas em uma chamada de voz ouvindo música com amigos.

Entrei em contato pelo formulário oficial de apelação no site do Discord, e também tentei contato pelas redes sociais e e-mails, mas só recebo respostas automáticas, sem nenhuma análise humana do meu caso.

Eu era staff em servidores grandes como a BDA e também tinha um servidor próprio chamado NYYX, que construí com cuidado e dedicação. Essa conta representa anos de uso e envolvimento com a comunidade.

Estou sendo tratado como culpado sem nenhuma chance de defesa, o que considero injusto, desumano e frustrante.

Peço uma revisão manual da minha conta e que o Discord leve meu caso a sério. Estou aberto ao diálogo e à colaboração.

Se não houve erro da minha parte, quero ao menos entender com clareza o que aconteceu. Mas acima de tudo, quero justiça e respeito como usuário.

Discord’s automated moderation system has a massive false positive problem — especially when it comes to so-called “child safety” violations. Completely harmless conversations are being flagged and removed, sometimes resulting in account restrictions or bans, all without any real explanation.

What’s even more frustrating is the appeal process. It feels like no human ever looks at the appeal. You submit your case, only to receive a generic, robotic response that clearly doesn’t address the context or message in question. It's as if you're shouting into the void.

I absolutely support real child safety enforcement, but this system clearly lacks nuance. Automatically labeling regular discussions as “dangerous” with no review process undermines trust in the platform — and punishes innocent users.

Discord needs to do better. Either improve the detection system or, at the very least, ensure that a real human reviews appeals. Right now, it’s just broken.

Neu kann die App auf dem Handy nicht mehr im Hintergrund verwendet werden. Entweder man fligt aus dem Sprachkanal oder man geht nicht in den Sperrbildschirm. Ebenfalls zeigt es nun im Sperrbildschirm wie bei einem Telefonat gross an, wie lange man schon im Sprachkanal ist und auf welchem. Absoluter Schwachsinn. Der Kundensupport wollte auch keine Lösung liefern.

Easy to use platform with an easy to use interface, perfect functionalities, but poorer Trust and safety Mechanisms. Some influencers on this platform are posting toxic and spammy messages, and some influencers are attacking women's rights and sharing toxic content. The platform has complicated reporting mechanisms for spam detection or illegal and misleading content. The platform should improve its safety standards as soon as possible. Have a nice day.

Discord Locked Me Out and Destroyed My Community.

I am a loyal discord user who poured years into building a community on Discord.
They locked me out of my account without a single legitimate reason, and now EVERYTHING I built is gone.

I begged Discord’s support to help me, but all I got was robotic, copy-pasted replies. No one cared. No one took my case seriously.

This isn’t just an account. This is my life’s work, my friends, my fans, my projects. And they took it all, without even a hint of humanity. I even created a google document where it includes full extra details, and full ownership, i sent the google document to discord many times, but they didnt even bother to read it.

I will make sure people know what you did to me. I won’t stop until you are held accountable.

Já testei a aplicação em diferentes dispositivos, reinstalei, usei outras contas e confirmei que o problema está na minha conta principal. Não consigo ver nem adicionar reações em mensagens — algo básico numa app de comunicação.

O suporte limitou-se a responder com mensagens automáticas e nem encaminhou o caso para a equipa técnica, mesmo depois de explicar tudo. É frustrante sentir que, mesmo após seguir todos os passos que pedem, ninguém realmente lê ou tenta ajudar.

Estou extremamente dececionada com o suporte. Esperava mais de uma plataforma usada por milhões de pessoas.

I'm a Discord subscriber for 3 years and I have 2 accounts currently suspended — one is my main account, and the second one was suspended as well after I logged in just to inform my community and friends.

I've been trying to contact Discord for the past 4 days, urgently asking for help, because I rely on Discord to publish content for my YouTube channel and to communicate with my clients and work partners.

All the support tickets I've submitted have only received automated bot replies. One of them even asked me for my documents, which I submitted, but 4 days have already passed and I still haven't received a human response.

My Discord account was recently disabled, and I believe this happened after my Gmail account was hacked. As a result, I lost access to several connected services, including Discord and other social media platforms.

This is especially serious because my Discord account had the rare "Verified Bot Developer" badge, which I earned before the verification system was changed in 2020. This badge held great personal and professional value to me.

I’ve already tried reaching out through your official support channels, but so far I haven’t received any concrete response or follow-up. It’s been very frustrating not having any clear path to recover my account.
