Thoughtful supplier

The reason I was pleased with the service was that the garment to be repaired required bespoke sizes, not the standard kit. After exchanging details the repair material did what was needed.

Not great

I put the patches on and they came off in the wash the next day. I put more patches on and the smaller ones are curling and ready to come off. It is also hard to separate the backing from the patch.
To their credit they sent me a new package of patches free of charge

It is sad to receive a second 1 star review for the SAME order, from the SAME customer ... we had been in correspondence and I had offered a refund, which was declined because some of the patches were, in fact, sticking. At that point, a second kit was posted out, of course free of charge. I had hoped that this would resolve the situation to everyone's satisfaction, so it was a shock to get this second review (as I say same order, same customer).

We are a small, family-run business and are proud of our products and the service we offer. We are quick to respond when our customers contact us; we send replacement kits, if an order goes missing in the post, or refund in full if the patch doesn't work as expected.

I would always urge customers to contact us directly if things go wrong, which they sometimes do. Our email is info@downjacketrepair.co.uk. We will reply to you straightaway.

Quick to answer any concerns or questions. Very professional. Replaced kit (free of charge), when it was not delivered because I had, by mistake, provided the wrong address number.

These guys give Amazing service!

These guys give Amazing service - I emailed with a query and got a super helpful mail back in minutes so I made an order and my kit was with me the next day.
The patches are great too - dead easy to use and they stick fast with smooth edges!!

Amazing customer service and brilliant


Amazing customer service and brilliant product. My son wore his Dad's very expensive jacket to play a football game which resulted in a number of tears, horrified. Wanted to make sure we repaired it correctly and the customer service from Toby was exceptional. So happy with this product and highly recommend!

Fast shipping and great product

Fast shipping (arrived in two days) and great product. Very easy to use. Only just patched my coat, so will have to wait for long term results, but so far, so good.

A simple and easy repair for puffa jacket tears

This is a great simple idea for repairing puffa jackets. I used some over a rip of about 6 cm on the back of my teenager’s Nike jacket. The patches are quite unnoticeable and my son thinks the jacket now looks fine. I lined up the subtle “grid” pattern on each patch vertically to coordinate with that on the fabric. I’d post photos of the repair if I could; a good matt effect
