Great concept but customer service is poor and needs training.
Drive-now UK is a great concept but had a bad experience in the end. I called customer service before I made my first booking and told the advisor of my trip and where Im going. Some details not known to me were left out in my query and I ended up paying much more than I expected. And customer service did not do anything about and just answered with generic answers rather than actually give you an informative answer.
Luckily, I gave it out a try before linking it up to our company’s corporate services. Would not recommend.

Poor experience with this collective driving system in Copenhagen. The only good thing about this is the customer support, they answer the phone quick and try to help. Cars are unreliable, you never know whether you will be able to start a car, all kinds of technical issues, some are dirty. Overall, a negative evaluation.

incorrect damage charges a month after i used them. Not worth the stress.
I have used Drive Now for several years now but recent experience has caused some stress. I received an email today one month after a short rental last month (less than 10 minutes duration) asking me to fill out an accident report for damage reported by a subsequent user. There was no other information apart from rental reference and date. The date reported was not specified nor was the reason for the delay. The damage in question was some small scratches on the wheel which in my opinion were very trivial. The report asked for a description of the accident, witnesses details, whether police were called, details of my insurance etc. The damage in question was some small scratches on one wheel which in my opinion were very trivial. I did not notice it at the start of the rental, I petty sure i did not cause them in any case from the photo they were very minor and could have been there already. I called Drive Now, they advised the damage was reported on the day of the rental and advised the reason for the delay was a backlog of work. They were otherwise unhelpful- i had purchased their damage excess protection at the start of the rental but they refused to confirm that this covered me or what the possible charges would be.
On paper the offering this company provide looks good but this experience makes me uncomfortable - even if you buy their extra protection - which I did- it doesn't give peace of mind. You have the bother of emails like this a long time after you use them. You would need to do an extremely thorough check of the car in advance to spot damage like this and unlike a conventional car hire it is impossible to protect yourself by getting sign off when the rental ends.
The fact that they had a month long backlog of incidents like this makes it look like this is not an isolated incident so I will avoid them in future. Its not worth the stress. A cab or Uber in London is a similar cost, just as convenient and no nasty surprises a month down the line.

Technical error and costly invoicing
I rented a car from Gentofte into central Copenhagen this afternoon for a total rental time of aprox. 30 min, probably less if I had been able to automatically lock the car upon arrival at destination.
The inability to lock the car persisted and DriveNow was said to experience technical errors during this time.
Due to these technical issues and a crash in the system the rental car disappeared from the app interface and hence we thought it ended (needless to mention callcenter was saturated and waiting times were enormous to be able to reach out). A few hours later the car was back on the app with an ongoing rental period of more than 3 hours. Following a 20+ min waiting time on the phone I managed to get through with customer support services to be told they were taking charge of the situation and adjusting my rental time for the above mentioned 30 min. 2-3 hours later I log back into the app to find out the rental is ongoing- reason why I call back wait another 20 mins to be told I am going to be invoiced a total of 6 hours of rental and the reimbursement of the "overdue" time could take up to 30 days to process.
I find this situation to be be unacceptable and disrespectful and believe it is does not fall under good customer care services.
I am heavily disappointed with the mismanagement of the situation and the treatment I received as a customer.
I hope this does not become the rule for DriveNow and they come forward with a more feasible solution.

Jeg tager DriveNow til og fra arbejde og det fungere typisk hvergang. Dog i dag kunne jeg ikke åbne bilen fordi deres system mente at jeg ikke var tæt nok på bilen, selvom at jeg stod lige ved siden af den. Jeg ringede så til kundeservice og ventede hele 15 min på at de tog telefonen. Det gjorde de så ikke og da min reservation løb ud og jeg sådan set ikke gider at vente på at de tager telefonen lagde jeg på og sidder nu i bussen på vej til arbejde. Det har så resulteret i at jeg kommer 30 min for sent på arbejde og højst sandsynligt får jeg også en skideballe fra chefen. Jeg håber jeg får en forklaring og at jeg får noget kompensation for ulejligheden. I så fald vil jeg ændre min rating.

Had to change car 3 times within one…
Had to change car 3 times within one trip because of 3 different major technical issues on the cars (low oil, break problem,...) and then they Charged me for a parking fine although I was driving one of their cars. When I wrote them, to complain about it, it took them 3 weeks to answer that I should complain to the service delivering the fine.
Bad cars, poor service, and expensive on the top.
I will not rent a car from them again and would not recommend anyone to do so.

Really pleased with the service
We live in Copenhagen, Denmark and the service is absolutely fantastic.
Great and very reasonible service available on Sundays and late at night. So much cheaper and easier to use than taking a cab to the airport. Great for using as alternative to having a car. We don’t miss our leased car. Nice cars and easy to use app.

Kom egentlig ikke for at anmelde jer, men den lave rating er jeg uenig i - derfor en 5-stjernet.
Har kørt DriveNow fast i over 6 måneder nu, det vil sige alle hverdage til arbejde og hjem +mere.
95% af min oplevelse er positiv, især efter at have startet hos GreenMobility, hvor systemerne & bilerne er væsentligt dårligere.
Anyway, jeg er meget tilfreds, så her kommer hvad jeg godt kunne tænke mig bedre:
- Emails.. Jeg har i min tid som kunde modtaget 824 emails fra jer. Det er for meget - især når jeg har et abonnement og turene derfor ikke bliver faktureret. Det er nemt for jeres udviklere at lave om - sæt en højere standard her, tak.
- Fair nok at de 900 minutter skal bruges på 30 dage. Men hvad med når jeg har brugt dem på 20 dage? Så kan jeg ikke bare fornye det abonnement jeg har, men som er opbrugt. Nej, jeg er nødt til at købe dyrere minutter indtil det fornyer sig igen.
Jeg antager I sælger 900 minutter til 1350 kr. fordi der er forretning i det - så er der vel også forretning i at jeg kan forny mit abonnement efter de 20 dage. Det er også være en smal ting at fixe.
- Parkerings zoner (Ikke kommunale), der kunne sagtens oplyses bedre om ex. muligheden for parkering ved Fields. Man bliver nemt i tvivl om hvordan reglerne egentlig er. Helst direkte i app'en - ikke på hjemmesiden.
Uber gør det genialt med gode beskrivelser ved pickup i lufthavne, så man ikke er i tvivl et øjeblik.
- Parker og behold... Ja altså at det skal koste det samme som at køre i bilen, det forstår jeg ikke. Især ikke når man kan afslutte turen og så reservere enten gratis eller til 1 kr/min.
Okay jeg stopper nu, har faktisk en del mere småting, som bare burde være anderledes, men vi skal lige huske at dette er en positiv anmeldelse og at jeg stadig bruger DriveNow hver dag :)

This company is absolutely a fraud I will call them in court soon.
I used them and total bookings costed my more than £2000 yes more than buy an used car.
I paid all invoices Wich I have proof my bank statements.
The last booking I had with them I had to call explaining that I need to keep the car more time.They agreed by phone and they phone calls are recorded,despite this they took the car I believe in the night without even let me know with my belongs inside.
I then woke up and couldn't find the car .I called them up they told me that they took the car .So they took the car in good condition,and fraudulent saying after days that the customer who rented the car after me has found a big hole in the passenger sit Wich they send me a picture is a big hole done with some machine because is perfectly round so I believe they have made it because how can the new customer find it if the car wasn't with me they had checked the car before even giving to a new customer since the car was been taken from them without my knowledge.
I just got a few days ago from a debt management company they claiming £392 for what ?
I'm so happy because now I take each proof and call them in court because not only they are fraudulently but with all my evidence they need to compensate me for damaging my credit score.
Please don't rent trough this company there are plenty like zip car legit cheap and serious company .
I've paid more than £2000 and they trying to fraud me.
Stay away from this company.
Charged twice and they don’t seem bothered
First time customer and I have been charged twice, only reason I found out was when I was in Sainsburys trying to pay for shopping and card get declined, not enough funds as Drive Now had held £39.49 twice this was embarrassing. I didn’t have any other means to pay and I had to return the goods. I then sent an email to customer service and heard nothing, so I called customer service and they didn’t seem bothered even though the female on the phone admitted this was a error on their system. This is not a great start for a first time customer. And I won’t settle for a simple credit of minutes!!!! 😡

Jeg har lagt så mange penge i Drive now, og det har også fungeret. Men jeg har lært, at jeg ikke skal planlægge min dag ud fra hvilke biler der er ledige. For 5. Gang oplever jeg at skulle gå ca 15 min, for at nå hen til en bil som ikke er der fordi der er fejl fra jeres Gps. Her står jeg så, forsinket til møde, på trods af at jeg var i god tid, og den nærmeste bil er igen 15 min væk. Jeg bliver kvitteret med 10 minutters gratis kørsel, på trods af, at jeg ikke når mit møde, har gået rundt og ledt (hvilket jeg blev bedt om)
Jeg har så valgt at reserve med en timepakke, drive now vælger at trække pengene fra mit kort, på trods af at bilen ikke er der. Der går så op til 30 dage før at pengene er retur igen. Og i undskylder med at det er fordi jeg bruger Master card. Der burde ikke trækkes noget beløb, hvis jeg ikke engang har kørt i bilen!
2. Punkt, jeg har oplevet at der bliver trukket over 600kr gang på gang, uden at blive kvitteret for hvad jeg betaler for. Jeg går ud fra at det er bøder, men det kan jeg kun gå ud fra, da der ikke kommer nogen kvittering , men kun bliver trukket.
Er du studerende som jeg, kan jeg IKKE anbefale drive now. Det har kostet mig KASSEN. Det kan ikke være rigtigt, at der bliver trukket så flittigt fra kontoen, uden at det er berettiget.
3. Bluetooth funktionen virker ALDRIG. Jeg har ringet ind, og bliver bedt om at parkere og beholde og starte igen. Det har kostet mig mange minutter, for jeg taler meget i telefon og regner selvfølgelig med at det virker. Men nej. .
Over et år har jeg været trofast kunde, men jeg må på baggrund af en masse tidsspild og alt det andet bøvl, slette jeres app og bruge Green Mobility i stedet. Sidder tilbage med en følelse af at blive snydt for en masse tid og penge. ØV ØV øv øv!!

Jeg elsker DriveNow, især når den sidste bus er gået. Så kan jeg altid komme hjem. Igår kørte vi 4 mennesker hjem kl 01.30 fra Vanløse til Sydhavnen, det kostede mig 25,- havde det været bus havde det kostede 52,- på rejsekort eller 96 for 4 billetter. En taxa koster 200,- men vi kom 4 mennesker hjem for 25,- det synes jeg er blæret 👍🏻 Plus bilerne altid fungerer og er ordentlige. Er det mindste ringer man bare ind så hjælper de dig og man skal huske at der er mange der kører i dem så fejler bilen noget er det den sidste der har kørt i den. Og ikke DriveNows skyld.
