I’d like to share my sincere thanks and appreciation for Dr. Varsak and his entire team. From the very first consultation, I felt completely at ease.

For months leading up to the surgery, I had what felt like a thousand questions, and our coordinator Anil answered every single one – always in a timely and patient manner.
The logistics were handled perfectly, comfortable transportation and a hotel were arranged in advance. The hotel was just a two-minute walk from the hospital, which made everything very convenient. It also had free breakfast and great views – a lovely bonus that really helped me relax before and after the procedure.

Dr. Varsak and his team were very professional, they made sure every step of the process felt smooth, transparent, and safe.

What stood out to me most was that my appointments with Dr. Varsak never felt rushed. He truly took the time to listen to all of my questions and concerns, and he explained every detail and option clearly.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Vasek. I had an upper blepharoplasty along with a deep plane face and neck lift, and choosing him was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I also want to recognize the entire team. The nurses were wonderful, and the office staff was extremely professional. They were there when I arrived, helped me get my prescriptions, and when I went to the hospital they made sure I was not alone. What a truly wonderful team.

I had rhinoplasty and upper blepharoplasty with Dr. Varsak, and the results are amazing.

I reached out to the team to ask about a neck and face lift. They sent me a quotation on WhatsApp for 12,000 USD. Before contacting them, I already had a rough idea of the usual cost because other people who had the same procedure were quoted between 9,600 and 9,800 USD.

When I received this higher quote, I asked the agent about it, and they told me the price varies depending on skin type and medical history. I wasn’t satisfied with that answer, so I contacted the manager. After looking at my pictures, the manager told me I was being charged more because of my dark skin. She explained that people who look like me supposedly have “thicker skin,” so Dr Varsak would take longer during the operation.

Basically, this means white or Caucasian patients are charged less, while Black patients pay more. The manager also said that people with chronic conditions or who are on medication are also charged more.

I really wanted Dr Varsak to do my surgery, but I’m struggling with the idea of paying more just because of my skin colour. I feel this is discrimination at the highest level. I’ve heard good things about this doctor, but this experience hasn't been very pleasant. It hurts to see that some people still practice discrimination based on skin colour or medical conditions.

This made me feel very sad, especially because people like me face this kind of treatment every day. To think that a top surgeon like Dr Varsak still allows this kind of practice is truly upsetting.

These Turkish surgeons send you quotes through a WhatsApp group, and you won’t find those prices on their official website. Their prices aren’t consistent. It makes it hard to know what’s true.
