Extremely disappointing experience — be very careful with the vehicle inspection
I strongly regret renting a car from this company.
The main issue is a damage charge for damage that I did not cause. What is particularly frustrating is the way the vehicle inspection was handled by the company's employees.
When I arrived at the office late at night, I was asked to sign a document listing existing damage before I had even seen and inspected the vehicle myself. When I questioned this procedure, I was told that I could take photographs of any additional damage and send them to the employee.
I followed those instructions and took photographs documenting the condition of the vehicle. However, the company is now questioning or refusing to accept photographs taken after the beginning of the rental period.
This makes absolutely no sense to me: if the company's own employee tells a customer to photograph the vehicle and send the photographs afterwards, how can those photographs later be dismissed simply because they were taken after the rental had officially started?
I have tried to resolve the matter directly with Customer Service and explained the circumstances in detail. Unfortunately, I have not received what I consider to be a fair resolution.
I find it extremely unfair that I am expected to pay for damage that I did not cause, particularly when the vehicle inspection was not properly carried out by the company's staff before the vehicle was handed over to me.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company. If you decide to rent from them, I strongly recommend documenting every single part of the vehicle with detailed photographs and videos before driving away, and making sure that every existing mark or damage is properly recorded.

This review reflects my personal experience and the facts of my case. I hope the company will reconsider its position and improve its vehicle inspection procedures so that other customers do not find themselves in the same situation.

Absolutely disgraceful. They refused to give me the car because of a bizarre rule requiring both inbound and outbound flight tickets — a condition never clearly disclosed during booking.
I even offered to buy a return ticket on the spot to comply, but they simply said “that doesn’t count”, with no explanation. That made the real purpose seem obvious: to pressure me into buying their expensive full insurance, even though I already had my own private rental-car coverage.
Now they are threatening to charge me for a car they never gave me. I have reported the matter to consumer protection authorities and the police. In my view, this is a scam-like practice. Avoid at all costs.

Il ritiro dell'auto era alle ore 8.00 il personale si è presentato alle 8.15 dopo una nostra chiamata telefonica.
L'auto prenotata era una Toyota Yaris auto disponibile una Kia Picanto.
Purtoppo ho subito un tamponamento chiamati al telefono non rispondevano andati al punto di ritiro dell'auto consegnato tutta la documentazione compreso del Modulo Incidente Stradale compilato in tutte le sue parti, dove si dichiarava che io avevo ragione, foto patente e auto incidentate comprese. Ora mi si addebita le 750 Euro di caparra per l'incidente oltre che la ECH sarà risarcita dall'assicurazione.

Lots of hidden fees in the small print and only take certain credit cards. If you use a debit card they charge you an additional €150!!!!

received 3000 euro charge despite returning car and being told everything was OK. then flagged this to them and they said they KNEW it was illegal!

italian courts should dissolve them and the owners should be barred from ever managing a company again

This company is a complete scam. Never use this company. I rented a Kia Picanto. When we left the airport and were on the highway it started to make a lot of noise from underneath the car. We could not contact ECH as they were closed. We sent an e-mail immediately that we were not comfortable with the sound. I checked the car underneath the next morning and it appeared that plastic coverage plates were hanging loose, causing the hard sound. After multiple difficult itterations, we were asked to go back to Pisa airport (4 hr drive!) which was not an immediate option for us. It wsa not possible to get support on site. Ultimately I fixed the loose plastic elements under the car myself with tie-raps and the sound disapperaed. Returning the car, it became evident our complaint was not registered at all by ECH and we were hold liable for the damage underneath from the loose plates.

Esperienza molto positiva . Puntuali nella consegna dell’auto.molto scrupolosi e attenti nella verifica del mezzo alla consegna e alla restituzione.
Molto comodo anche per l’ uso della navetta da e per l’ aeroporto.
Molto gentile il personale.

Aeroporto Verona arrivo al posto di noleggio attendo una mezz'ora perché l'unica persona presente cercava di far fare assicurazione aggiuntiva a coppia di inglesi e finalmente arriva un'altra impiegata, non simpatica, che una volta preso i miei documenti mi dice che la mia carta di credito non valeva perché scadeva dopo più di un mese chiedendo il motivo e mi dicono che per loro politica non accettano carte che scadono nei 90 giorni antecedenti al noleggio 😡.Io avevo fatto anche aggiunta di assicurazione per essere tranquillo in tutto fatto sta' che mi propone se volevo ritirare l'auto la loro assicurazione versando 400 euro, 200 di cauzione,o non potevo ritirarla essendo in vacanza ho accettato com mio disappunto e la sig.simpatica mi faceva notare che era scritto nel regolamento allorché le faccio notare che avendo inserito tutti i dati del mio noleggio carta compresa on line chiedo perché il sito mi avesse lasciato andare oltre se non era valida la mia carta di credito e lei simpaticamente risponde che non sono problemi suoi in più la loro assicurazione non copre vetri cerchi e gomme io le faccio notare che nell'assicurazione fatta on line era compresa e con disappunto mi risponde che dovevo arrangiarmi con chi avevo stipulato l'assicurazione on line e va be partiamo il massimo è stato raggiunto alla consegna dopo 5 giorni la macchina sul posteriore era piena di polvere perché l'albergo dove ho soggiornato aveva una strada sterrata da 500 metri altra commessa simpatica se la prende pure perché non l'ho lavata io dico che non era scritto da nessuna parte che avrei dovuto consegnarla lavata e lei con tutta la sua simpatia mi fa notare che è questione di cervello 😡😡😡😡 .
Ma se avete personale sgarbato e frustrato per un lavoro che vi va stretto cambiate o non siete in grado di fare altro???????
