All good

Both getting the car and dropping it back off was a quick process. Unfortunately, we had to wait a bit for the shuttle but overall it was great.

Je déconseille fortement cette agence de location.

À la suite d'un dommage mineur sur la plaque d'immatriculation avant du véhicule, ECH m'a prélevé 411 € sur ma caution. Je reconnais être responsable du dommage, mais le montant facturé est totalement disproportionné par rapport au coût réel du remplacement d'une simple plaque d'immatriculation.

Le plus préoccupant est le manque de transparence : aucun détail des frais, aucune facture justificative ne m'a été fourni au moment du prélÚvement. J'ai dû demander moi-même les factures afin de comprendre comment une réparation aussi simple pouvait atteindre un tel montant.

J'accepte parfaitement de payer les dommages que je cause, mais je considÚre qu'il est inacceptable de facturer des sommes qui semblent sans rapport avec le coût réel de la réparation, sans fournir immédiatement les justificatifs correspondants.

Je recommande à tous les futurs clients de lire attentivement les conditions du contrat, de prendre des photos trÚs détaillées du véhicule avant et aprÚs la location, et de vérifier avec la plus grande vigilance les sommes qui pourraient être prélevées sur leur caution.

En l'état, mon expérience avec ECH a été trÚs décevante, principalement en raison de cette facturation que je juge excessive et du manque de transparence qui l'accompagne.

Dear Customer,

We are sorry that this situation caused disappointment, and we understand that the amount charged may appear excessive if it is seen as the simple cost of replacing a registration plate.

However, we would like to clarify an important point: in Italy, when a registration plate is damaged, destroyed, or no longer compliant and clearly readable, it is not possible to replace it with a simple duplicate. The vehicle must undergo a new registration procedure, which includes the issue of new plates and the corresponding update of the vehicle documents.

The amount charged therefore does not refer solely to the physical production of a new plate, but to the entire re-registration process and the related administrative costs.

We nevertheless regret that these details may not have been explained clearly enough when the case was handled. Transparency is important to us, and we remain available to provide a detailed breakdown of the charges and the relevant supporting documents, should these not have already been received.
