This is a scam business. I've just received a letter from them about C-date but I've got written confirmation cancelling my subcription within 7days of opening. I tried calling them and they haven't answered. Avoid.

I log in looked around one time and never used it again they now are sending me a bill of £244.10 scam and abusive.

Firma ewidentnie wyłudza płatności. Nie odpowiada na wiadomości. Praktycznie nie ma możliwości kontaktu. eCollect AG próbuje wyłudzić płatność na podstawie zgłoszenia z firmy SIXT Włochy, która błędnie wprowadziła mój adres do systemu. To spowodowało, że korespondencja pisemna nie miała prawa być do mnie dostarczona aniu z SIXT, ani z eCollect ani z Policji na co mam kwity z Poczty Polskiej. Sprawa dotyczy mandatu, który oczywiście zapłaciłem ale wcześniej sam musiałem przeprowadzić śledztwo. Policja włoska okazała się być bardzo przyjazna i pomocna i tam sprawę załatwiłem w 5 minut. Z SIXT i eCollect zabawa trwa dalej. eCollect nie dostanie ode mnie ani centa. Banda szwajcarskich mataczy.

If one subscribes to their services it is virtually impossible to get rid of said subscription even if you call or mail them with the wish of cancellation, or post a letter to their stated mail adress it does not work as it is non existent and the letter will be lost in the German postal bureaucracy, safe for blocking the automated payments outright you can't stop it.

If you do that however, the cretins of howlogic kft (based in Hungary of all places) will send their lapdogs of a supposedly German/Swiss based collection Agency; "Ecollect AG".

Who will send empty threat e-mails raising the price owed by you (supposedly) in an effort to make you pay out of fear of legal repercussions. One should be aware that Ecollect AG ignores all rules of the Swiss chamber of commerce if one looks at their reviews, one can see that the 5 star reviews are usually hollow and very generic. The 1 star reviews are usually a lot more descriptive and speak of scams and scamming.

In the German "Bundesanzeiger" you can find information, that the former eCollect.deAG i.L., with main location in Köln (Cologne, Germany) HRB 31682 was liquidated in the year 2015.
The company eCollect Germany GmbH can not be found in the German "Bundesanzeiger" and thus is liable to an official bundespolizei investigation. It is also legally forbidden from "collecting" in Belgium according to the body "De Economische inspectie" (Economic inspection) tied to the Belgian ministry of finance.

A dubious company to say the least; if one googles them and uses streetview the results are 2 locations. One In Switzerland on some desolated and deserted industrial terrain in a building that proudly displays the name of Emerson Electric Co. An American multinational corporation headquartered in Ferguson, Missouri, United States of America. Second a dodgy looking pawnshop somewhere in Germany. One can then safely assume that the company does not exist outside of the Internet. Last but not least, Ecollect AG has it's own dedicated page on the website of the European Council for Consumers warning consumers of their antics.

Finally regarding howlogic kft's location, one can find it by perusing the bottom of one of their websites. The adress when typed into Google maps shows a random residential block in some random hungarian town.

In short I would not be surprised if howlogic and Ecollect AG are one and the same or at the very least closely tied to one another.

Their practises are detestable and as far as I'm aware no one who refused to pay has been brought before a court. A sham and a very unconvincing one at that.

Ecolllect.com.au is an excellent company to engage if you have a debt that is required to be collected and could prove tricky to get. George in the Melbourne office was nothing but entirely professional to me at all times. Carefully explaining the process and how the fees etc worked. During the whole process he kept me informed up to date and was available at times most would not be. If for whatever reason he was not available, all calls or emails were answered very promptly. Whenever there were issues thrown up by the person we were collecting the debt from. All options were discussed and no matter the decision it was carried out with a professional determination to collect all monies owed in a timely manner. I actually thought that they would struggle with the collection as the person was notorious for their desire to evade the debt. In the end the full amount was collected and the fees taken were more than reasonable for the work and effort put in. George is a true professional and courteous person who exceeded expectations and achieved the outcome desired and charged exactly what was discussed. I would strongly recommend using ecollect.com.au if you have a difficult debt to collect. George certainly changed my view of the industry and how I thought I would be treated and charged. George and the team in the Melbourne office were truly amazing and attentive. Also they kept you regularly informed of how your case was progressing via email reports and the ability to log in and look at your account and actions taken to date and monies, if any collected. The transfer of the funds was also quick and painless. Ecollect transferred collected funds to me as and when they were deposited after clearing their account.
All I can say is if I require the services of a debt collector again I will certainly be using Ecollect and asking for George again.

eCollect are now intimidating me with a view to extorting money from me for a debt for an individual who doesn't reside at my address.

Should you claim however, that you have not registered yourself personally or that your data has been misused by a third party for the purpose of said registration, please file a police report regarding said data misuse and provide us with a copy thereof so that we can examine the matter further.

Should the requested proof not be provided, the claim asserted is to be regarded as fully valid. In order to avoid further costs from accruing to your detriment and any potential enforcement proceedings, we strongly advise you to settle the outstanding claim against you amounting to EUR 257.50 online on XXXXX

A very long time ago, with my horny head i went on a dating app, flirtendoejehier. And got a subscription that i immediately cancelled. This was through a phone call maybe not the smartest decision, but it was cancelled. Later they eitherway took money from my account which i took back. Now 4 months later i get a claim of 180,-…. I don’t understand, is this real, is this a scam? Can anyone help i don’t know if i just have to pay and get it over with or am i getting scammed in my face…

Extortion artists pretending to be debt collectors

That’s a super scam they surely get our details from other scamming sites, in my case was C Date and hoe you look on the trust site they use it’s also fake according to trustpilot so don’t believe in anything they ask you.

Utter thieves. They have a really bad reputation. Be very wary of them!!

Die negativen Bewertungen stammen ganz offensichtlich von Schuldnern, die Mahnungen für offene Zahlungen erhalten haben, mit deren Eintreibung eCollect als Inkasso-Unternehmen beauftragt wurde. Als Gläubiger kann mich nur für die kompetente Beratung durch eCollect bedanken, die mir in meiner Situation eine große Entscheidungshilfe gewesen ist.

Der Betrug im Internet durch Käufer nimmt leider ständig zu und den Unternehmen entstehen dadurch zusätzlich Kosten, die gerade in Zeiten der Inflation die Produkte weiter verteuern. Die 1-Stern Bewertungen, die hier von Käufern verfasst werden, zeigen anschaulich, mit welcher Art von Kunden die Unternehmen heutzutage vielfach zu tun haben. In so einer Situation ist es von Vorteil, jemanden anderen an die Front schicken zu können. 5-Sterne dafür!!!

Da die Konditionen bei eCollect aus unserer Sicht - der Gläubigersicht - durchaus ansprechend waren haben wir einen zweiten Blick riskiert. Es handelt sich keinesfalls um eine „Scheinfirma“ oder „Betrugsfirma“ sondern um ein reales Inkassounternehmen, welches im digitalen Markt in seiner Sparte Innovationsführer ist.

Es ist ein Betrugsnetzwerk, von Datenhacking bis hin zu illegalen Sammelzahlungen und Datenverkäufen von Osteuropa nach Westeuropa, mit dem Ziel, unbeteiligte Kunden Dienstleistungen unterzuschieben und Geldforderungen zu generieren.

Wenn Sie eine E-Mail oder Post von dieser Firma erhalten und sicher sind, dass Sie nichts bestellt haben, informieren Sie sofort Ihre örtliche Polizeistation und Staatsanwaltschaft. Sichern Sie alle Informationen und überprüfen Sie nach Möglichkeit, ob unbekannte auf Ihre E-Mails zugegriffen haben, und von welcher IP-Adresse aus zugegriffen wurde. In Google kann man das schön nachvollziehen. Ändern Sie sofort Ihr Passwort in das längstmögliche alphanumerische Passwort. Beobachten Sie Ihr Bankkonto und Ihre Kreditkarten und reklamieren Sie zweifelhafte Buchungen.

Öffnen Sie keine zukünftigen Post-Mails von dem Absender, senden Sie den geschlossenen Umschlag an die öffentliche Mailbox zurück, schreiben Sie auf den Umschlag, der Empfänger (Sie) sind an eine unbekannte Adresse umgezogen.

Falls das Gerichtsverfahren eröffnet wird, zeigen Sie dem Richter Ihre registrierte Polizeianzeige. Das reicht aus, um diese dubiose Forderung loszuwerden. Der Kläger bleibt auf seinen Kosten sitzen.

Diese angebliche Firma betreibt angeblich eine weitere digitale Adresse in Berlins. Auf diese Weise versuchen sie, Anfragen und Post von Staatsanwälten zu entgehen. Stellen Sie daher sicher, dass Sie den Standort in Baar, der Schweiz, Sofia in Bulgarien und Essen Deutschland in Ihrer Anzeige erwähnen.

Im deutschen "Bundesanzeiger" finden Sie die Information, dass die ehemalige eCollect.deAG i.L. in mit Hauptstandort in Koeln HRB 31682 im Jahr 2015 liquidiert wurde.

Die auf der Wenseite geannte Firma eCollect Germany GmbH ist nicht im deutschen Bundesanzeiger zu finden. Daher muss untersucht werden, ob das Unternehmen in Deutschland tatsächlich existiert oder ob diese Adresse nur ein weiterer Betrug ist.

This company represents dubious online service providers operating out of Eastern Europe. In my case the online provider or his data suppliers obtained some private data and tried to collect money from me for services that I never booked, ordered or demanded.

Its a fraud network, from data hacking, to services ordering and selling subsequent collective payments from Eastern Europe to main Western Europe.

If you receive an Email or Post-Mail from this company and you are sure, you did not order anything, inform immediately your local police station and public prosecutor. Safe all information, check if possible your emails access history and IP addresses if any party did try to log into your account. Change your password immediately to the longest possible alphanumeric password. Observe your bank account and credit cards, return any dubious bookings.

Don't open any future Post-Mail from them, return the closed envelope to the public mail box, write on the envelope, receiver (you) has relocated to an unknown address.

In case the court case is opened, show the judge your registered police case. Everything will be fine.

The company representing dubious Eastern European Online Service Providers are: eCollect AG with locations in Switzerland, Bulgaria and Germany.

They operate another digital address out of Berlin, Germany, without actually having an actual office there. In this way they try to escape requests and mail from public prosecutors. Therefore make sure, you mention the location in Baar, Switzerland, Sofia in Bulgaria and Essen Germany.

Beginning of September 2020, contacted Jason regarding a $1340-00 debt that should have been paid in March 2020. Wow, got it. Also all the good things like communication etc, this company had exceeded all expectations. Would highly recommend this company if your unfortunate enough to need such a service. Well done, Jason and Team!!!!
