Big name company with little to no professionalism in property management sadly. Surveyors have little to no knowledge in dealing with property management. Stay away and choose smaller more competent property managers. Much better and qualified surveyors in the market out there.

VALUATION DEPT MANCHESTER , DO NOT USE , after a two hour meeting and showing head of dept every property hew was valuing , he agreed what figures he thought they were worth , which is many many millions , basically did valuation and , having ignored all my emails and being virtually uncontactable to me and Handels bank he came in for absolute non reason at more than 15% under totally stuffed me , i then got whole process done again with another quality company who came in correctly

Can’t speak for other departments but as valuers - shockingly out of touch and lack genuine research, factual inaccuracies in the report misleading . Not good . I’ve filed a complaint

Dealt with Chartered Surveyor part of business and it was a disaster from start to finish. Had to use them for an insurance reinstatement and would not use again. Emails took weeks to get replies to, things were signed off with the builder without consulting us, visits to site planned and noone turned up. It has taken 2 and a half years since the works completed to get the project signed off due to Edisons poor management. We have had 4 different contacts and each one has been the same. Only responding when we and the loss adjustor threatened to raise a complaint. Still waiting for thier complaints manager to contact us even though this was promised days ago! Completely done with them, we still have problems outstanding with house but becasue they took so long we have now run out of time so it will be for us to fix at our own expense.

Our first experience of dealing with Eddisons was absolutely great. It started when a locaal BBC news story mentioned that Eddisons was auctioning the perfume and beauty products from a failed department store in Lincolnshire. My wife has been trying for some time to track down some now-out-of-production Hermes perfume. I emailed on the enquiry form and Charlie from the Scunthorpe office got straight back to me saying the product we were seeking was in the sale that same day. She then arranged the commission bid for me and two days later we collected it. Fantastic customer support from start to finish and we are most grateful. Thank you Charlie - great job.

Just purchased 4 kitchens and several other lots from Eddisons in an insolvency sale. The staff were very acccomodating. It was a well organised clearance. I am surprised from other comments how people don’t understand the costs and risks involved when buying at auction. But all I can say is when you do you can save or make a lot of money and Eddisons are there to help you do that. Not the first time I have dealt with them by a long way but can recommend them as a reliable auctioneer👍

Ryan carried out the surveys without any disruption to the schools.

Travelled hours to pick up a 3 lots.
When I got there all the lots (the same product) were mixed together and half was missing from one of the lots.
Now struggling to get full refund back and loss of money for journey. Customer service is terrible.

We have also used Eddisons to undertake property management reports. All staff at Eddisons that I have dealt with are highly knowledgeable and extremely professional , I would not hesitate to recommend them to your company as they work with commercial companies as well as Schools.

I won a bid On a lorry all good got the price it was £14000 then I get an email saying about vat and tax which I wasn’t aware of before I started bidding then I get another email saying they’ve withdrawn the lot after the bidding hasn’t ended would rather deal with Ron and. Reg
