Eggzearplugs レビュー

Not sure about the other reviewers below, however, I’ve been getting earplugs from Adam and the Eggz team for years and have always found both his products and service to be outstanding. My friends and family also use them

I am surprised by some of the comments here. I suffer with some hearing loss due to riding motorcycles from an early age. After a long break, I went back to riding as a leisure pursuit. To try and prevent further damage I tried the foam plugs but then invested in the type which are made from a mould of your ear. One was fine but the other caused my ear to get hot if worn for more than half-an-hour. I saw an ad for Eggz. I tried and after a year, still swear by them. For me, they drastically reduce the engine noise but I can still hear; other road users, my intercom, emergency vehicles etc. I won't ride without them. I've read some of the other comments but my experience bears no resemblance. I speak as I find.

Purchased eggz motorbike earplugs, found then very useful with a selection of sizes really enjoyed using the smaller ratio as I have small eartips. I find that I have small ears and it’s hard to find a good fitting earplug. They really help with wind noise

2 stars as they were comfortable and nice container but they didn’t block any noise out.

Terrible!
Useless earplugs and non existent customer service.
I ordered for sleep as husband snores. Both pairs were too big, they wouldn’t go into my ear at all, therefore did not block out anything. If I touched my ear they popped out easily. I did not even wear to sleep as I thought they would pop out and I would lose or the dog might find and swallow.
I read the website again. It contradicts itself in several areas. On the product it says they send a ‘small & medium’ but will provide a large FOC, further down in the description it says they supply a ‘medium & large’ but can send a small FOC??? I do not know what I have been sent! It then goes on to say 30 day money back guarantee, then it says you have 7 days to return? Which is it?
All the good reviews are on their own website which now leads me to think they are not genuine.
Anyway, I tried to contact them. No phone number anywhere. I am thinking I may only have 7 days, who knows. Over the last 5 days I have sent 3 messages via the website and 4 emails. But I have not received a single reply. I first wanted to ask for a smaller size but I now just want to return them. They seemed a fair price but not if they are useless and not if Eggz do not respond.
I would not recommend. I will stick to the silicone plugs from boots, they do the job!

After waiting longer than I should have because of delivery issues and various emails back and forth I finally received my eggz earplugs. On using them the first night I had the best night sleep I’d had in months and I found them quite comfortable. On the second night, however, the tiny centre piece (filter?) came out of on (the part that actually stops the noise). I tried to put it back in but it kept coming out. It was so fiddly I eventually dropped it and couldn’t find it again but I’d have been worried putting it back in my ear anyway with such a tiny piece of the plug loose. I’ve asked for a refund.

Absolute Rubbish, they state these are perfect for side sleepers but hurt no matter what way you sleep.

I noticed zero difference in noise reduction, I tried these as the price was very good compared to other brands on the market.
I had previously bought a different brand and used them for over a year with brilliant results, only reason I didn't buy again is these were much cheaper and thought an ear plug is an ear plug.

As the saying goes, "You get what you pay for"

My advice, pay a bit more and go for a well known reputable brand with a guarantee.

You can't push them in far enough for them to stay in.
And they have little if any effect on noise.
