What a great service! Really appreciate the support and template!

Super cute cards, helpful for when you feel bad for missing an event, but still want to send a gift! Or even if dont have time to stop for a gift👍🏻

The company saw my first review and reached out to me. I wasn't expecting that so was great service. The problem was sorted out and I received a refund. I also got an explanation on how to resend card if any problems. As I mentioned it was my first time sending a ecard so partly my fault. Once again the card was lovely, the sentiment perfect and the concept of music accompanied with card lovely and a great touch. Highly recommend and will use again. Thank you for your great customer service.

I like the new changes to the website, making it even easier to create and send a card. I use EllaCard often to celebrate with family and friends. It is also useful for invitations. Thank you for replying almost immediately when I needed help.

I was looking for a new Christmas card provider this year that was easy to use and wasn't expensive, but looked good. I found Ellacard to have nice designs and they had a ton of ways to personalize them. I liked that I could send them by email and phone and they looked really professional. I will use them again!

I've used this site a few times, and I’m so glad I found it. I used them for a colleague’s birthday card, a new baby card, and a farewell card. I like how many features their cards have–they really make a difference. With the cards it was easy to email the link to everyone so they could add their own personal messages. There were a bunch of cute photos and nice messages. Each time the recipient loved it!

Same as other people mentioned, learned about additional cost after the fact. Features offered are way inferior to basic Google slides. Card would not automatically play, you have to click through it. I tried creating templated pages so people can just sign, however card would treat it as a filled in page and move to last/empty page... Hard to export as pdf, in general admin functions are very limited. I would not recommend paying for this product.

The app will tell you it will cost $2.10 USD and then charge $10. The balance is kept in credit and this is done due to their costs. I was personally not happy with this approach but the company replied to my query within the hour and refunded my money. Overall a good outcome. Thanks

Bait and switch! I chose this site because they said no subscription required. Then I have to buy at least $10 of credit to cover $2.10 of the card (and pay all the rest on credit card) and then be left with $7.90 of 'ellacard credit' in perpetuity.

I had a great experience using your service to create a custom, birthday card for a child. I would have liked to have seen the email address and the phone number from which the text message would be coming from before I sent it. Maybe, I missed it? I could have informed the recipient to expect a surprise from such sources. People do delete messages from unknown sources.

I am saddened to see some reviews criticize this service. To use the service was their own choice.

Here the deal: The cards came out great, although sending them for other people to sign was bit convoluted. Although the customer service responded super quickly. And the app let's you do a lot of different things and generally is easy to use. The reason I gave them one star is because they use very scam like pricing. So theoretically each card I made only cost $5.25, which is fine. It was worth it to me for that price. But the way they have you pay is so sketchy. The total for both of my cards came out to $10.50 but you have to buy 'credits' and they only sell them in $10 increments. So that means I had to spend $20 to pay $10.50. And now I have $9.50 credits that I will probably never use and they know that. They made it so that the 2 cards I purchased came out to exactly $10.50 because they knew that I would have to spend $20 to buy 2 increments of $10 credits. Very disgusting. So if I would have bought just one card I would have had to pay $10 to get the credits toactually get the card to send. If you ask me, this is super scam like. So I absolutely do not recommend this company. Shame on you guys.

I have now used this site 2 times & sooo happy I found them.
1st time was for a bereavement card, it was so easy to send the link to everyone, we each added our own page, our own words so it was much more personal and we were able to add money to the card. My friend was overcome with emotions, obviously grief, but also how beautiful it was to have everyone's sentiment together.
2nd time now for my birthday invite, I added music, tons of pictures and the RSVP section. I chose to copy & share link but they do have the option of sending via email and text. I just thought it would be easier sharing the link by texting the link myself vs copy & pasting everyone's number into the Ella site. I had a little trouble with the RSVP button disappearing on me😇 but Francesco/customer service via email helped me, he noticed the mistake I made and helped me correct pretty quickly. I am getting so many compliments on what a great & unique invite. Besides loving my invite, the RSVP section is so helpful listing everyone by the name they entered and number people coming. You have no idea how amazing my invite is... I am ecstatic! Thank you Francesco & EllaCard!!!!

Not sure what some of the other people are talking about. The site works well and I had no issues at all. According to their faq they have a satisfaction guarantee and their pricing is fair as they don’t force a subscription which I like.

It is difficult to find pricing on the site, but offers both subscription and the option to add credit toward future purchases. Look for this before attempting to make a purchase; it is not discoverable from the check-out page. Note that cost is based on the number of people who sign the card/ add images, etc. as well as if it is a group-signed card or sent from an individual.

I did not find this to be cost-effective, and I don't appreciate the less-than-transparent pricing options. I will find another service.

Don't waste your time here if you're an occasional "evite" type person. You get what you pay for. I'll confess, I went here seeking a less expensive alternative for a simple e-card for a 11 year old birthday party. All I wanted to do was use a photo my daughter created as the cover and sent it to 15 people. Evite wanted to charge me maybe $1.5-2/invite? So I tried this service (maybe owned by Evite, ironically).

The interface is confusing. Notifications about responses to an event don't seem to occur. Want to share or co-host with a spouse or other person. Nope. Need a mobile experience - get ready for 5 years ago.

Maybe if you send e-invites all the time and want rock bottom pricing and are ok learning a new system for managing all your invites, maybe you'd like this service. Maybe.

Ellacards is not a no subscription fee service as advertised.

I wish I would have scrolled down to the bottom of the pricing page after the pricing options per card before wasting my afternoon trying to design one card (my first and last time using Ellacards) to discover that prepaid credits are required, not the option to purchase a single card as listed. Ellacards has unique options with the ability to add photos, personalize messages from contributors (friends/family), and add music to their cards but I found it unfortunate that they don’t advertise their pricing credit/subscription fee honestly on their site. I should have known prior to creating the card before I used my time I can’t get back.

Tried to finish but the website just kept hanging up and could not complete the transaction. Then two hours later, got notifications from PayPal…Ella Cards billed me twice??!!

And I had already sent an e-card using a different company.

Edit: Ella Cards responded promptly and issued refund.

Ellacard is peak "we designed our check out experience for maximum revenue versus actual customer experience" design. Look, I work in tech and I understand you want people to "get to the end" but this feels deceptive. You pick your card, entire a little note, enter the email address. It's digital, how expensive could it be, right? $6.99 CAD?! LOL. WHAT? Why is sending a DIGITAL CARD more expensive than me getting an actual card, postage, and sending it in the mail? Of course they're going to bet that you've put too much work in to turn back now and ultimately checkout with your purchase. Zing!

Look, if you're a business, and you're going to send a bunch of emails to your colleagues throughout the year for various occasions, need a bulk signing capability, and want a little pizzazz in the process, maybe the subscription makes sense.

But if you're just an average person looking to sending a one-off card (from one person to one person), you're better off finding an alternative or even just sending an email.

Tried using PayPal for 2 days, I believe the problem is your end. PayPal was my only option. Gave up in the end.
