Easy to install, very quick to sync all the items in the kit. Really pleased how well it went.

My ERA MyGuard5 alarm controller failed after ten years service. I contacted ERA hoping to find a replacement, to be told the model had been superceded by ERA Protect hub, but all the components I had would work with the new controller. I placed an order which was delivered the next day. When trying set up it was clear the old components would not work. A further call to ERA confirmed this but allowed me to create a new system with a limited number of components.
The primary information was not correct and I finished up having to acquire more new sensors than I planned. However the delivery service was excellent and the latter advice was very useful. I am happy with what I now have but sad it took too much effort to achieve a fully working and comprehensive system. The app is good and clearly still being developed which should lead to enhancements in the future.

Overall the system appears to work well. Just a few limitations when compared to our old system. No independent means of testing siren, you have to trigger it, not good. Cannot test individual pairs, other then again triggering them. Value for money against other App controlled systems, very good.

Overall good some slight glitches which got sorted

Was having problems with one of our detectors. After speaking to an advisor he suggested trying a certain course of action.
When this did not resolve the problem a new PIR was sent to us. This has now been installed.

Ordered replacement battery for active siren & dispatched quickly but when undertaking task found existing battery was actually still usable even though the internal lights had faded badly ? process of disconnecting lead had somehow reactivated component ?

Not sure which particular experience you are asking about, but they have all been excellent.

I cannot recommend the help I have received from ERA enough. Being an oldie I have just gone from using an android phone to an Apple and wanted to transfer the ERA protect app to the ERA smart home app. I spoke to a guy called Kaush and he patiently helped me through every stage.
