A subscription was set up without my knowledge. I was told I had to email to cancel and their email bounces back. This isn't a real site, AI vibe coded as a front for fraud.

Basically force you into hidden subscriptions scammers

I enquired about sending a handset and offered a price. I never went through with this but have now seen that they have fraudulently created direct debit for evolve and stolen £9.95. For what? Enquiring? They do not even have my handset! Please do not use this company

I used Webuyanyphon.com to sell an old phone.
The payment arrived yesterday
Today I received an email telling me I have a membership to Evolve, free for the trial then they will take £10 by DD every month!!!
I did not know anything about this
Apparently “You may be offered to join with a free trial “
I was not asked, now the onus is on me to cancel the DD

Although the subscription I had was added in error, the customer/ support team to cancel it again were very helpful and cancelled it quickly for me.

Never in my life heard of The Evolve Club until they set up a direct debit on my account and stole £9.95 from it. Wouldn’t be so bad if they agreed to refund it but NO. Please everyone beware of this scam with we buy any phone. They made an offer on my phone so I gave them account details to pay in. Unfortunately webuyanyphone gave a false valuation which I turned down. Never thought any more of it until I noticed a direct debit taken from my account that I don’t use for direct debits. After searching out who on earth these people were contacting them they refused to reimburse as 5hey said I had ‘selected’ the box 😔whatever that box was I didn’t select so watch out for this scam they only took first payment 5 days ago and won’t pay me back

Absolute scam! Do not give your bank details to We Buy Any Phone because they will sign you up for this pointless service who will set up a Direct Debit without your knowledge or consent. They will then claim that you chose to sign up with them and they will refuse to refund any of the money they have effectively stolen from you. Something really should be done about this - reading the other reviews below, they are clearly doing it very frequently.

Signed up for benefits and was never given any contact information, account information, membership number but they continued to take money from me via Direct Debit. Absolute scam

Scammers. I didn’t even sell my phone to them and I still got money taken out of my account.

There is no way to contact this company I sold my phone on a well known site and it has no contact details full on scam

Like others have noted, I suddenly noticed a direct debit charge even though I have never heard of this company and certainly never subscribed with them. Appalling. Now trying to cancel.

What a lovely experience I have had with Evolve! Once contacting I received a response immediately and was able to get help straight away. I am so happy with the customer service provided

I didn't realise I had signed up for it, but I got an email making me aware before any money was taken. I contacted the help desk and they cancelled it quickly without any issues.

Didn’t even know I’d signed up for it until they took money from my bank. Doesn’t seem to be anyway to contact them either.

I’m more than concerned that suddenly payments were coming out of our account on a two weekly basis. Never signed up or heard of this company until we googled them. We sent a phone to well known phone/car buying company ( this won’t allow me to post the name… says it all) ’ and were ripped off by them and now this …. Be aware
