I recently treated myself to a parcel of goodies from field and flower.
I loved the high end quality and field to fork approach which is my hopes in all the food I buy.
The chutneys were beautiful with apple sage jelly and garlic mayonnaise to indulge in along with outdoor reared lardons I was most impressed.
The chilli scotch egg was tasty but not spicy at all! I'm big fan of the famous Dragons egg scotch egg and this didn't even touch it. Which is a great shame as it felt like the chilli peppers have been not added to the ingredients. However meaty and wonderfully herby they were personally I would hope for a proper kick of chilli. However it wouldn't stop me from using Field & Flower again in the very near future.

The meat quality is pretty good. Delivery was ok overall. The prices are above local farm shops with similar quality so would expect everything to be perfect.
The big issue comes when you try to cancel. There is no option on the website. I had to email, waited days for a response from customer service who said they couldn't cancel and had to pass it onto another team to call me. It then took another 10+ days for a phone call trying to convince me to stay. It's unacceptable. Cancelling should be a one click option on the website and at the very most one quick email.
I may have returned in future to buy meat seasonally but making it so hard to cancel means I will NEVER use Field and Flower again. They lost a customer.

Field & Flower offers top-quality, ethical meat that's far superior to supermarket options. Their steaks and sous vide range are outstanding, and delivery is impeccable. However, the website could be more user-friendly, and subscription flexibility would be great. A strong choice for healthier, fresher food â despite small issues, would still recommend.

I have been receiving orders from Field & Flower for a while. The steaks are amazing, the garlic sauce is delicious - everything is such good quality. But recently they have blown my mind. Their Easter specials were amazing. They notified me in good time when they needed to rearrange the delivery date, the products really impressed my family because they were highy quality and tasty and I was even sent a hand-written note offering me an extra chicken for free! I'm only disappointed I can't order the Easter specials all year round!

The quality of the produce is excellent. There are distribution issues which need to be addressed.
Second subscription box delivery -half was missing. Phoned at lunch time for clarification as DPD was showing that my order was delivered in full so too was my field and flower account. Lady told me order was split and second part would be with me by 4.
5:20 pm 8 hrs after original delivery the fish and cheese has arrived.
The ice packs had defrosted ( they have been in a warm van) the products were cool but I would not be confident in the fish.
Field and Flower relies on the customer and as such we place the order in good faith.
We need it made clear when orders are being sent as splits. I have stayed in all day waiting for the second part of the order.
We need tracking numbers for both boxes and transparency on our order pages that shows part orders have been delivered. Otherwise how do we claim a refund for missing delivery?
Unsure if I will continue.

I have been buying meat (and fish) from Field&Flower for many years in support of British farmers. The quality is always excellent and their customer service is just as good. Although the meat is more expensive then in supermarkets I like knowing where it comes from and would rather eat less meat than have poor quality.

The quality of the meat Iâve purchased from here has always been of great quality. However, I eat meat very infrequently; I can count on one hand the number of times Iâve eaten it this year. This being the case, I have no need for a subscription. The two-tiered pricing just put me off completely and I havenât placed an order since you brought it in. I understand that itâs there to incentivise people to sign up for a subscription but all it did in my case was incentivise me to seek out a decent butchers. Not in any way local, unfortunately, but not a big deal considering how seldom I need to go.
For regular eaters of meat, the subscription offer is a great deal, though. Everything arrives on time, is well-packaged and off good quality.
In my experience, the customer service has always been top notch. Itâs unreasonable to expect that mistakes will never happen but entirely reasonable to expect a swift resolution when they do. Field and Flower are faultless in this regard.

I have been ordering from Field&Flower for few years now&would recommend their free range chicken along with other meats& fresh fish. Their quality is very good&meats cook& tastes lovely. They also sell a good range of sausages, pies, charcuterie, cheeses & relishes to go along with their meats range. Their delivery always packed with care&with ice packs which allows their fresh meats delivered nicely chilled whilst in transport. I would recommend Field&Flower if you are looking for free range, outdoor reared&grass fed sustainable reared farm animals to buy quality meats from.

Our 2nd box from Field & Flower was missing most of the items we paid for, so we decided it would be best to try out some alternatives as this left a poor first impression.
As it is a subscription, you would assume cancellation to be a simple self-service task. But no, there is no 'cancel' button. I emailed requesting cancellation and was instead told that they would pause it and forward my request to Loyalty Team so they could talk to me. I have yet to have a chat with them.
Cancelling a subscription should not be a multi-step process. Please add a 'cancel' button.

I am shocked by the good reviews this company receives, maybe I am just very unfortunate and they choose to ignore me and keep my money without delivering.
I placed my first order, with this company after using another online meat supplier for many years, fancied a change. Well I had constant problemsâŠ.
1- One item couldnât be sourced in time so had to be delivered the following day (not the biggest issue)
2 - One item they couldnât source and could not supply, I am still waiting for my refund of this item 8 days later as they take the payment upfront when you place the order. So their website is not live stock, so donât think you will get what you pay for.
3 - One item was marked on email as being delivered but never turned up, received one out of two steaks.
4 - The delayed item turned up with a delivery driver smashing on my door at 10pm at night waking my whole family and young children. Totally ridiculous time of night to be delivering. And the meat was warm and all ice packs melted so the whole joint had to go in the bin.
I requested a refund for the delayed spoilt meat, the item they told me they couldnât source and the missing steak - it has been 3 days since my last email and still no response. 3 days ago they offered me a £10 credit which is no where near the value of my refund.
Atrocious service, do not respond, do not deliver and keep your money unlawfully. I am trying to claim my money back with the credit card company.

Really great service. Love the mince deals and their butter especially. Even use the insulation paper inside the package as wrapping paper for presents. That rustic brown paper. Would recommend to everyone to try it out and see if the service works for you. I give it 5*.

Good service but this year the pigs in blankets were actually horrible and I had to throw them away...they smelled horrible while being cooked and tasted nasty. Usually they all get eaten immediately but no one wanted more than 1 or 2.
The Christmas chicken with giblets ended up being very dry despite being cooked as per the instructions and was very expensive.
I don't think I'll get it next year.
