Massive thank you to Mick T for fixing our upstairs toilet and shower. Very professional and explained everything in detail. What i thought was a standard blockage turned out to be shifted pipework. Was really thorough and completed a full investigation to identify the issue. Would highly recommend

We had a blocked drain which was difficult to get to but Glen came out and managed to sort it out. Although it was a boiling hot day he worked non stop and was cheerful during the whole process. Great job done by a great guy!

Glen came same day. He was very methodical, thorough and also very friendly and informative. Very efficient service. Cleared up the blockage and inspected the pipes with CCTV. Not necessarily cheap, but gave clear information about charges before starting the work. I’m very pleased. Excellent service.

Company didn't make the first appointment so attended the next day. Cleared the blockage fine. Was on site for less than 20 mins and the bill was £275. Completed the job but extortionate price. Won't be using again. There are much cheaper alternative companies out there

Taylor carried the works out and spent all day trying to get to the root of cause. He even drove back from home half way as he forgot to finish off something and that was around 6.30pm.

Great service, really helpful and trusting. His manager should be remarkably proud of this gentleman and his work.

I would like to thank Larri for the excellent job cleaning the drain. He was professional, efficient, and completed the work to a high standard. The drain was thoroughly cleaned, and everything was left tidy afterwards. I am very pleased with the service and would highly recommend him.

Taylor was punctual and extremely courteous through his visit. He quickly diagnosed the problem which wasn’t obvious and rectified it after thoroughly examining all of the drains and gulleys on the property. He worked cleanly and efficiently and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or use him again ourselves should the need arise.

Very expensive for what it was - whatever they quote you it’s actually £148 per half hour. They quote £69 per half hour for manual and £79 if they have to use machinery. Here’s me thinking we were foolish to think it was either or and not BOTH though it seems other people have thought this from their quote so perhaps it’s a business tactic not to make it explicit. In the end 500 quid for a pretty simple 45 min drain unblock. Very lovely bloke and he did the job but you could find a more honest and cheaper company. I think there may be a reason this company isn’t on Check a Trade…

Larry started late on a Friday afternoon and worked very hard for three hours and solved a nasty external blockage issue. It was a very hefty bill of over £1000 in the end but it was an issue that I couldn't resolve myself so had to bite the bullet. Satisfied with an urgent job if at a very high price ultimately.

Consumers requiring drainage services should exercise extreme caution regarding this company's charging mechanics. While hourly baselines are verbally stated on the phone, the way they stack charges on-site is highly exploitative.They bill a premium labor rate of £150/hr + VAT. However, they then strip out the standard portable tools required to perform the trade (a jetting hose and a rigid cable) and bill them simultaneously as a separate, recurring "Plant Use" charge of £79 per half-hour (+ VAT). Stacking these fees means you are quietly billed an astronomical total operating rate of £308 per hour for a routine van visit.This job was not an active emergency, and the company could not even attend on the first day I called. Despite being a scheduled next-day booking, an engineer attended my property for under 2 hours and 40 minutes, used zero parts or materials, and left me with a staggering £924 bill. Crucially, the engineer at one point insisted that he would need to dig up my lawn to resolve the problem. Within 10 minutes of refusing this excavation, he cleared the blockage, but then tried to quote me an excessive £500 + VAT just to replace the cheap plastic valve.According to official Checkatrade industry data, a combined domestic drain rodding and high-pressure jetting project typically averages between £180 and £400 total. Furthermore, despite a massive £395 "Plant Surcharge" on my invoice, there was absolutely no heavy industrial machinery or vacuum tanker lorry on-site—only a standard technician's van utilizing basic portable tools.They aggressively round up time blocks to maximize the invoice, and management completely rejected a fair local market settlement for the actual time spent on-site. I intend to lodge a formal report with Trading Standards and initiate a merchant dispute via my bank to challenge these predatory charges.

Larry from first local services was first class! Our drainage problem was baffling, but Larry was methodical, tenacious and very professional in his pursuit of the issue. He had to use a combination of CCTV, mechanical clearance and jetting to locate the blockage and clear it. He was friendly and communicative throughout, talking us through each step and showing us the results. It wasn't cheap, but the costs were all clear upfront, and ultimately he solved our problem and we were delighted with the service.
