This is my second time purchasing a car from Fish Motors. Bought my first one a few years ago with Ryan who was excellent.
This time I was dealt with by Chris who again was excellent.
Best thing about this dealership is they don’t have any pushy sales people. They let you look around bother free, but if you have any questions they’re happy to help.
Even after sales is great, which I can’t really say for other places. They call you back when they say they’ll call you back.
I’d recommend giving them a try if you’re looking to buy your first or next car 👍

Once I had chosen my ideal car via Autotrader, Fish for Motors then took up the sale. They were very helpful without being pushy and arranged for me to see and test drive the car. When we were at Fish Motors we were made at ease and were given time look over the car ourselves. After a test drive, the car gave no disappointments and I went ahead with the sale expertly helped by Chris. I collected the car a week later, with new MOT and fully valleted. Very happy with the car and the service from Fish for Motors.

Thanks to Chris, who made the whole experience, very easy. He is a very capable and professional young man. I never felt under any pressure to buy. Infact, the opposite was true. Chris was so relaxed and laid back. I purchased my car at the end of January, and I cannot fault it. I would recommend Chris and Fishmotors to anyone.

This car I bought from fish motors was an on going issue see Google reviews, I bought a ford focus off them, head gasket went less than 3 months in , they took it back to fix ,it never received receipts ,off them , my finance company wanted to rewind the finance. I collected the car the mechanics said they spent £4500 on the engine . The car was patched up , I have two read outs 1 off the AA one off an independent company via my finance company, 13 months apart ,by this point the car had bern off the road 11 months 3 months with fish motors mechanics. When collecting it ,there was spots of tar all down one side , my fuel was down to 4 miles on the clock .there was 90 miles put on the clock, slashed tyre , the car was under tree body work was knackered. So after 7 months of driving it carefully as I was told off Brian the mechanic, piston number 1 had gone again ,or was it even fixed ?? Patched up I have evidence. In the mean time this car was off the road ,I lost my job as I relied on the car to get there, then lost my home , and relationship, true fact . The car is now back with the finance company , not fit for purpose car , and all you get off fish motors is the length of time I had it , well you couldn't produce receipts of work you done, avoided my finance company , and me . The other sickening thing I traded a excellent car in .to get a not fit to drive car . I have lots of pictures if you look on Google reviews to prove all this .

To add to my review I have buckets of evidence should it be needed.

Present date 28/7/2024 , our finance company has dealt with this issue and is now in their hands. Fish motors still have not acknowledged that the fault was there and present at point of purchase despite lots of evidence.
Buyer beware they do not openly deal with issues they just bury their heads in the sand. Read trust pilots statistics on this garage !

I think 1 star is generous! Minus 50 ! My clear and present review of fish motors I publish today has taken many weeks to conduct! Following a back injury I thought I'd acquired the perfect vehicle to accommodate My condition I shall now continue life living with , after not many weeks we had a very clear and present engine fault issue....the manager at fish motors doesn't willingly accommodate repairs without argument and certainly doesn't like a woman being right. Maybe moving forwards ,chaps a lesson in sexism may be worth your time ! Repair one completed we thought maybe just maybe It was a blip and things would come right...how wrong were we. This has led to the biggest and most expensive uncovering of cowboys experienced to date . With the patronising, degrading and arrogant voice of the manager in the background they reluctantly carried out repair number 2 again for engine issues. 5 mins from home repair number 3 soon became apparent. Again for engine issues. The manager refuses to deal with me because boo hoo I shouted at him... grow up and admit the vehicle you sold is not fit for purpose and you wouldn't need shouting at ! , apparently repair #4 ( which is where we are sat at the moment ) uncovered 29 faults on the vehicle that have clearly been hoped wouldn't be found ! Apparently we should allow them to look at ! Biggest laugh available that to be quite honest because let's face it #1 #2 and #3 were a complete lump of codswallop. And the "invoices" a 3yo could have put together ... If you intend to buy a vehicle I'd suggest your first stop a reputable mechanic for it fully checked over but beware fish won't go down without a fight..
Current day ... we have opened a case with a solicitor and our finance company along with trading standards and dvsa . I WILL NOT go down without a fight especially when I know damn well the vehicle is not fit for anyone to ever drive!
NOT disability friendly ! And I stick by this because YES I have unavoidably been left with a disability. And YES fish motors were aware this is why I bought the nightmare

To update I have been MADE to alter my review yet still sat with a car not fit for purpose!

💥 update I have made contact with another customer who also has been subjected to engine issues !! 💥

Not a bad price but car had a couple of issues.
Needed new battery straight away.
Engine light came on from day 1
Was informed it was something or nothing.

Didn't really want to know once the car was collected.

Good compani

Myself & my partner recently bought our first family car from Ryan at Fish Motors. Could not fault anything and was pleased with how smooth trading in my old car was and the deal we got on the new one. Fish motors made buying my car a lovely stress free experience. Their Friendly helpful staff sorted my fianance and they aren't pushy sales reps like alot of other car companies that I've experienced, they let you look around, they answer any questions you may have and give you time to think as it is a big purchase.
