Perfect from start to finish, great comms!

FMG Barnstaple were excellent, the updates on repairs were regular and the pick up and delivery of our car was great. Overall the staff were very friendly and helpful especially Jayne. Would recommend to anyone

The manager, Marius, was equally impressive—professional, reassuring, and clearly committed to delivering a top‑quality service.
FMG went above and beyond, they even leant me a vehicle to use whilst mine was repaired. I have never seen my car looking so good!! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing reliable repair services. Truly a 5‑star experience.

I left my car with the Barnstaple branch the service was professional and friendly Jayne kept in touch via text with all the repair updates on my car I got given a lovey hire car then when my car was ready returned it. My car came bk just like new like it had never been in an accident at all. Highly recommend.

FMG Barnstaple:- Excellent service

We have just received back our repaired Toyota BZ4X EV following extensive damage to the rear driver’s side door. From start to finish the service has been excellent.
Our car, still drivable, was collected promptly and we were supplied with a 2025 automatic saloon car whilst the repairs were carried out. Every member of the FMG Barnstaple team were friendly, courteous and helpful throughout. From initial assessment to completion of the work the service and quality of work has been exceptional. We could not be happier with the outcome.
Marcus, in his lead role, was so helpful and professional as were the whole team.

The work was very prompt if not too quick, rather than order the correct colour strip they talked me into either removing the opposite side or change colour. On return was not unsatisfied with result. Used vehicle two days later only to find No real view from offside door mirror which was the initial job unless my head was placed directly on the steering wheel. Rand garage from 09:45 until midday closure with No answer. Hence negative review

Overall a great experience, very friendly & knowledgeable staff. Although I only had a paint work done, it all looks to be finished to a high quality & blends with the rest of the car.
Would definitely use again but I hope that I won't need to!

When the tree jumped out in front of our car we ended up with a great deal of bent metal and broken plastic. Our insurer nominated FMG Barnstaple and from start to finish the experience has been excellent. Jayne and Sam kept us informed of progress all the time, a courtesy car was delivered as promised by a friendly chap who’s name unfortunately I didn’t note, and a slight imperfection in the paint finish we noticed after final delivery was sorted without question. Thank you.

Worst repair service possible. Poor work, cause other problems with the vehicle and then deny fault or liability even when the vehicle enters their facility working 100%
Spoke with a technician who clearly thought I had the mental capacity of a child and tried to clear the diagnostic fault rather than rectify it.
Wouldn't take my worst enemies car here

FmG repair Barnstable collect the car on the 12 this month on a Low loader with damage to the rear bumper and under skirt bumper brought the car back today on a low loader I am. Completely astonished they actually polished the whole car and valet it looks like it’s come out of a showroom and cleaned inside has well all repairs carried out and the car has been respray at the rear completely very impressed 5 star could really recommend FmG Barnstable excellent service

Our insurance company assigned our Peugeot to FMG at Barnstable for repair. From the very beginning they kept us fully informed on the progress of the repair. The staff were all friendly and efficient, any problems were handled with no fuss and they were flexible on the vehicle pick up and drop off arrangements.

Excellent service that I can highly recommend. My car was collected for insurance repair promptly by the Barnstaple office and I was kept informed of progress on a daily basis. The repair only took one week and the car delivered back to me in perfect condition - and was given a valet clean. If you need a repair - these are the people to do it.

This accident repair centre were excellent from start to finish. From the initial call to explain what would happen with my vehicle to it being collected by John. The repairs were completed and my vehicle returned to me within a week. I was kept informed of the process the whole time. I can’t praise them highly enough.

Just collected our Skoda Kodiaq from FMG Barnstaple and what a magnificent service from the whole team from start to finish. Following a foolish reversing accident, the nearside rear door needed complete replacement together with wheel arch trim and respray. I honestly don't think I have ever had better service in over 46 years of driving.

From the stress of the damage being caused, the first contact with FMG removed all that stress by a fully professional service being provided, including regular message updates on each stage of the repair, what had been done, what was being done next to advising when collecting/delivery of the vehicle could be made.
