Very disappointing experience. The installation took a lot longer than planned. We got home to a job that had been left unfinished, which once completed, they had to return for remedial works because the finish was so poor.

We were not walked through the external finish before final payment, and only discovered the issues ourselves uneven mortar, messy sealing, cracks, damage and obvious poor patch repairs.

We’ve since had to get an independent contractor to fix quite few issues.

Communication has been poor throughout, particularly from Vik and the response to all of the issues was a £50 voucher. Their customer service and aftercare is extremely poor and impossible to resolve.

Would not recommend this company.

The men were very professional and work very hard . Very tidy and would definitely recommend to anyone .

Frontier Windows superbly handled a complicated request for a disabled friendly door that would accommodate an electric strike for a remote release door. The team helped find a suitable option and were flexible on days to install. Communication was great as was the speed of the order. Very good quality product and service. Very efficient. Fully explained process to me. Very quick turnaround. Turned up on the date as booked. Very tidy. Left the house clean. Explained everything to me and ensured I was happy with the windows before leaving.

DO NOT USE AT ALL COSTS.

They will take your money and not complete your job to a satisfactory standard.

They will offer you a warranty that they will never register.

The installer damaged all of our trims. They promised to replace them all and 5 months later still battling to make contact with frontier windows as they ignore all calls, messages and emails.

Half of our glazed windows have a weird residue on them which I am trying to get them to replace but once again they do not respond to you.

Avoid like the plague. Many other companies who might be a bit more money are going to be much cheaper in the long run.

From the initial quote to the final installation, the whole process was smooth and professional.

The installers arrived on time, were friendly, and carried out the work to a very high standard. Everything was fitted perfectly and they made sure to keep the area clean and tidy throughout the job.

My house looks absolutely gorgeous

We recently had our windows and doors replaced, and we’re very pleased with the results. The work was very nice and has completely changed the look of our house. It feels brighter inside, and the exterior has a much cleaner, updated appearance.

The workers were friendly, professional, and got on with the job efficiently each day. They worked well together, kept everything tidy, and made sure the installation was done properly. The new windows and doors fit perfectly and operate smoothly. Overall, it was a positive experience, and we’re happy with the quality of the finished work.

Be aware, don’t pay fully until you are satisfied with the job.
Had windows and doors fitted in July 2025 and fitters were very professional and polite.
Georgian bars on some windows panes were missing. It was meant to have 3 but it only came with 2 also front door lock was supposed to be a security lock but it came with normal lock.
Fitters and office guaranteed that it would be all sorted by following week but that never happened.
Contacted them several times and always told that someone will come and fix it but no one ever did.
So haven’t been chasing them for a while because of health problems but I don’t believe they will do anything about it.
As soon as they have the second and last payment they don’t bother with customer service.
Also the Fensa certificate that were promised never arrived.
Obviously a comboys outfit so be aware that sometimes they will do as little as possible to maximise profits.
It shouldn’t have cost them much to rectify the windows bars as it was a factory mistake and not theirs so I believe the factory would have swallowed the cost of the parts, and they probably would have spent a couple hours fitting new glass panes which would just be labour cost for them.
Had this review up a couple months ago and company contacted me asking to remove it and they would come on 4 February 2026 to rectify problems.
Obviously this review is going back on as they haven’t came as promised and refused to answer phone, messages and emails.
If this happens to someone else which it will please don’t remove negative review until they fix your problem.

If you’re on the fence — just do it. The new doors completely transformed the look and feel of my home. Solid, secure, and beautifully finished. The installers were friendly, efficient, and clearly knew what they were doing. Everything fits perfectly and works flawlessly. Couldn’t be happier with the upgrade.

From the first call to the final walkthrough, everything was handled with professionalism and care. Title: Refund Only Processed After Credit Card Intervention

Review:
I placed an order with Frontier Windows Ltd and paid a £500 deposit. During the survey, the company confirmed they could not meet my requirements, and we mutually agreed to cancel the order. I confirmed the cancellation in writing within 7 days, in accordance with their Terms & Conditions, and was advised the deposit would be refunded.

Despite this, no refund was issued by the company. I sent multiple emails and a formal complaint by recorded delivery, but the refund was only recovered after intervention by my credit card provider under Section 75.

This experience highlights the importance of carefully checking customer service and refund policies. I hope Frontier Windows improves its processes to ensure other customers do not face similar delays.
