I had a problem with my Snooper 6900 pro and I only bought it on October so it was still under warrantee. I contacted snooper by email, giving a list of the symptoms and they diagnosed the issue there and then and there was a new part in the post the very next day. It seems to have done the trick and I am pleased it was handled so quickly and amicably. No jumping through hoops that you might expect from other companies

Not fit for purpose sadly
Bought the Snooper S5100 so it would tell me when the speed limit changes as I almost got court out. This was fine for first few months the most the speed limits in the towns changed to 20 mph for 30. This device only updates the speed limits ONCE a year as an up dat you have to down load from there site. Well I down loaded the latest update and it has not up dated all the new limits. I contacted Snooper they tell me I will have to wait till the next up date and thatâs over 6 months away so this is now pointless and as it does not up date all the time this can NEVER be trusted to tell you the right speed limit as if a limit has changed after an up date has been done the device will not no. So itâs can not be trusted at all.

shortly after the guarantee ran out my Snooper camera detector began behaving unreliably in that it did not always power up when the car was switched on. I feared that I would have no alternative other than scrapping it. However a phone call to Snooper's excellent technical representative, Bhairav Mane, provided me with such straightforward and effective remedial instuctions that its now up and running - many thanks
Snooper S6900
About 6/7 years ago, I bought a Snooper Sat Nav S6900 for use in my motorhome and only for use when I went on holiday. I already owned a Tom Tom Car Sat Nav but needed a device that I could set up for a motorhome, a larger vehicle. I have used my Tom Tom Sat Nav for 15 years and never had one problem with it and it is very easy to update. Whereas, I have found the Snooper Sat Nav not easy to update. A few months after purchase (and little use), I had a problem with my Snooper Sat Nav, that was rectified. Since then, I have had a couple more problems and then memory card flew out of the device and disappeared into the motorhome. I then needed to buy a new card. And now the connection for the charging point has snapped off the unit so the battery cannot be recharged. I am not spending any more money on it.
I cannot wait to throw it into the skip.

Snooper Model S5100 provides lifetime updates on road speeds. BUT they can only be updated on a Windows platform. MAC OWNERS BEWARE you can't update the road speed limits unless you buy a PC !

I ordered a new set of maps (on microdisk) and they arrived very promptly. My Snooper is working a-ok now.

After buying a Snooper SC5900 plus I needed to clarify that my purchase was the correct, most recent, model. Talking to Alex on the phone to resolve this was really easy. Alex was knowledgeable about the Snooper products and was able to help me with one phone call and a subsequent email. Having received my Snooper Truckmaster back from repair I found that it would not identify Cameras.
Called Alex Mangli on the help line and he advised that I needed to download updates and gave me full instructions on how to do this - hopefully I have succeeded and will try it on the road today
