GeoDomeX レビュー

Ordered my Geodomex as am updating my garden. I also bought the flooring, standard ultra+ glass and metal fixings. The flooring arrived with the front piece missing. Also the wood doesn’t seem the best finish. I mounted it on a raised decking and it feels a lot firmer walking on than if I’d just had it on the decking. It was very tricky getting the frame around the flooring as the bolts are underneath and I had to cut a couple of small sections out so it would fit. Once that was done actually building the dome was pretty easy. The tougher glass feels very solid and is going to make a fantastic addition for us.

Couldn't believe how everything goes together so easy and look so cool as well. Very pleased that I ordered it.

Geodomex is top‑tier. Fast, accurate, and incredibly professional. They made the entire process smooth and stress‑free. Highly recommended.

We love our GeoDome Mini. It's so cool and magical at night. Easy to build but you must follow the instructions carefully. It's given us an extra room for entertaining, fun and relaxation. Brilliant product thankyou 😃

Absolutely terrible experience with Geodomex. This was a nightmare to assemble from the start—the holes didn’t line up properly, which made putting it together far more difficult than it should have been. Once assembled, the door was nearly impossible to open and close, requiring ridiculous force, so now it has to stay open permanently. We’ve resorted to hanging an outdoor rug over the doorway and hoping it doesn’t blow away in strong wind.

To make matters worse, I spent a lot of time with customer support going over measurements to make sure I ordered the correct size for a standard hot tub, and despite that, it ended up being way too small. Then I was told I couldn’t return it once it had been unpackaged and the first row was assembled..... Satisfaction guarantee is a lie. Since returning it wasn’t an option, we were forced to place it elsewhere just so it wouldn’t be a total loss.

This entire purchase was a complete waste of time and money. Extremely disappointed with both the product quality and the customer service.

Great quality. Fantastic space in the garden to enjoy all year round. Brings the garden indoors.

Love our dome - we have had so many magical evenings in it. Great customer service too.

very happy people who put it up were loverly thanks

Our new favourite room. A cosy haven in all weathers. Love love love.
Was a challenge to build on my own. Took around 3 days. Was worth it in the end!

Very informative Web site easy to navigate and full off information that's relevant to their product.
Delivered on time and well packaged.
Just waiting for a good day to start erecting the dome.

Quick delivery instructions look easy enough about to build it today

What a terrific product. Easy to assemble. Looks amazing. Can’t wait to sit in it in the summer 😎

Arrived well packed. Put it up yesterday, very easy instructions with numbered parts. We bought the GeoDome X Ultra and it appears to be very sturdy. Panels are really clear. Looking forward to long evenings/nights outside whatever the weather.

Affordable elegant addition to the garden, instructions are pretty clear, not difficult for two people to set up!

I purchased the 2.7m Geo Dome and, unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing both in terms of product durability and customer support.

From the outset, the item arrived with missing parts, which delayed assembly by over a week. While these were eventually supplied, it reduced the usable time I had with the dome during that season.

The more significant issue is the structural performance. The dome has been in place for less than 8 months and has only gone through its first winter. It is installed in a relatively sheltered position directly outside the rear of my house, with a shed beside it, leaving only around a 90-degree opening exposed to the elements. This is not an unusually exposed location.

Despite this, the structure has failed at multiple anchor points. The polycarbonate brackets have cracked and the plastic M5 fixings have sheared or pulled through. This has happened in several places, not just one, indicating a consistent weakness rather than isolated damage. I have had to carry out repeated repairs to keep it usable.

The product is marketed as suitable for year-round outdoor use, but in my experience, the standard fixing system is not robust enough for typical UK weather conditions, even in a relatively sheltered setting.

Customer service has responded, but their position is that the standard fixings prioritise aesthetics over strength, and they have suggested purchasing upgraded stainless steel components at additional cost. To me, this raises a concern that the original configuration is not suitable for its intended purpose.

Overall, while the concept and appearance of the dome are good, the structural durability and initial supply issues mean I cannot recommend it in its standard form.

Great next day delivery !

Received our order very promptly and hassle free.
Looking forward to getting it installed

Almost impossible to get refunded by this company. Spent over a week trying to allocate the person who would be able to handle the refund. Asked to speak to a manager on several occasions but was denied and hung up on, several times. They requested my number to pass onto the manager to call me back.. that was five days ago. I’m still flabbergasted of the lack of professionalism and understanding of the consumers rights act.

THEY HAVEN’T GOT A CLUE WHAT THEY’RE DOING!

Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. Where they’ve got a disputes team that know how to handle refunds and have basic communication skills..

-10/10 - They need investigating!!

Comment about the abuse to staff -

Asking them to be professional isn’t abuse. Communication skills would be handy in these situation. “Ye, no and don’t know” isn’t detailed information. They even answered the phone “yeah” and if i remember rightly, it was me who told her not to be rude! So not only are you lairs, you also twist and manipulate the situation to suit your narrative..

We also recorded the phone call and are happy to upload a copy of the transcript, if you wish! Lying to us saying you’ll call, isn’t good customer service. Yet you still hold onto over 1k of our money over the time period YOU set!

Amazing how you’ve been able to communicate through trust pilot right away but unable to take/answer or even phone us like you’ve said for the past week. I understand that it doesn’t work like a bank transfer, I actually acknowledged the
T/Cs. You just fail to follow your own, at my expense! You have been reported as to trading standards, my bank have been made aware of your SCAM and the following procedures whatever they decide, will go ahead.

Call yourself a buisness, money grabbers more like!!

The information available and the real feed back from non business made video's and from general customer videos made the choice much easier to decide to order one. Once my back garden is finished I'll be able to build it up. I also have new furniture for the inside when it's built

Easy to assemble.
Looks amazing.
Use it no matter what the weather.
My zen space.
