To start with, when the company organised for a photographer to come around to take pictures of my property, they arrived (lovely lady) but it took a week for them to contact me to tell me the photos that the lady took were unable to be used because a wrong "lens" was used. At this point a week had gone by since I signed the contract and of course this company said they 95 percent gaurantee they could sell my house within 6 weeks.. anyway, I ended up having to take the photos of my house myself in the end because they were unable to get a response from the photographer as to when they could come to my house again.
They uploaded my photos but used a picture of a different house (identical to mine) as the first picture on the advertisement.
After quite a few weeks went by and no viewings etc they tell me it's because it's up for too much.. but the agency agreed a price with me at the start to what I would get back so I don't know why they agreed that price if they thought it was too high.
I'm not currently stuck in a contract with them til the 31st of August which one lady at the company told me I was able to give notice to leave the contract but once I spoke to someone higher up, they said I was unable to leave the contract and now I'm sitting around waiting til the 31st of August for nothing.
They did ring me with a viewing and I spent all day doing my house up for nobody to arrive. I rang them to check what was happening and it turns out the viewer cancelled but nobody let me know
This company is a waste of time and I will definitely be using a local estate agent next time.

I prefer a local agent

On Star is too much for the level of unprofessionalism that they show towards buyers.
Any relevant questions regarding properties in their sales portfolio are never answered, avoiding all written conversations, demonstrating unfair and untransparent practices.
I believe they are trying to organise their own little auction on the properties without adhering to the Consumers Rights Act.

So helpful, speedy and proactive! Which is what all estate agents should be!
