Excellent service yet again, this is the third time that we have used Gibbins Richards and the third time that Beth has been directly involved both in the sale but most importantly the constant updates and advice. You are a pleasure to deal with, clear, honest, practical and supportive. You made a challenging time seem straightforward and simple and we all know that it's not!

Review for Bridgwater Office: Sadly I cannot recommend. DO NOT USE.
I was not going to bother with a review when I left them in March. However, last week I was shocked to be chased for a the exit fee which I had reluctantly paid on time, and had advised them by email that I had done so. I did get a lame apology yesterday but this just highlights how bad the customers service is with this company and still is. As it was an exit fee why was this not checked after a month?? I am guessing the accounts department reconciled my payment against another clients account, and that is outstanding.

My main gripe was that I had to chase up nearly every feed back after every viewing and I gave them time to do it! On one occasion I missed a call and rang straight back and was told to put the phone down and listen to the voicemail!

Paul who came out to value my house was always very professional but he was part time and not managing the viewings or feedback. I sensed a lack of team work.

Buying and selling houses is one of the most stressful things we go through, regardless of our circumstances and so good customer service has to be in place. This review is not about not selling my house, its about poor customer service, making the process much more stressful than it needs to be.

Callum you are a superstar!!
You are a credit to the Wellington Branch.

From the minute we started the buying process you supported us 100%.

You were obviously selling the property and owed us nothing but the way you handled every hurdle (there were many) was exceptional.

At times we felt you were working for us that's how good you were!

Callum was amazing. Couldn't recommend him any more. He went above and beyond

Avoid letting with the tauton branch at all costs. They will try any nonsense possible to keep your deposit. Had to take it to dispute which they of course lost because nothing they said was true or fair but it was a massive headache.

Well it's taken me a while to write my review, blame it on emptying boxes and sorting out wonderful new garden! Moved in on February 3rd and been a whirlwind since! Fell in love with our home even before seeing it inside and Sally and Brontë from Taunton branch were just the best. Brontë, going above and beyond to make sure we had time to sit in the garden and make our final (right!) decision. Helped us put our house up for sale in order to buy our dream home and kept us going through the process, ups and downs - like any house move. Sally was exceptional on move day and made it all go smoothly. Now a couple of months in and every day I am so glad we made this move, it is everything and more than I hoped it would be. And the garden is already turning into my jungle paradise. Thank you for making this happen, Jane S

I’d used the Wellington branch to sell my Mum’s property and came back to sell my aunt’s flat as they had done such a good job. Although the team had changed the service hadn’t and Callum in particular was first class. At times tricky, the whole team remained positive and professional and the sale completed without a hitch. A big thank you to you all 👏👏

All the staff were extremely helpful with finding our forever home. The communication was exceptional and the whole process was efficient and all our questions were answered within no time. Any issues raised were dealt with in a timely manner and very professionally. Would highly recommend working with this estate agent.

Team members were kept informed at times when main contacts were out of office. Lisa was very skilled at uploading photos onto the website and making changes as requested. At Gibbins Richards in wellington with the recent purchase of our property, Callum and Piers in particular were super personable and helpful, communication was great and would highly recommend!

As a buyer of the property Gibbons Richards had listed I can’t speak for the company. I only dealt really with Callum. Professionally speaking, Callum was exceptional at his job, conscientious, professional and respectful at all times. He’s a real asset to the company and I highly recommend if you are looking in the Wellington area - he’s the guy to speak to. He helped find our dream house and expedited our transaction with excellent communication between us and the sellers.

I have used Gibbons Richards before and was very happy to use them again. The staff were very helpful and responsive ( probably the only negative was their automatic texting didn't always work).
I wasn't sure about their new policy of having someone different to support you once an offer had been accepted but actually it works well.
I would definitely use them again

Never have I written a review before but this lot conned us, read the reviews it is all the same. Ignore the ones. These people need closing down. Who do they think they are?? Steer well clear.
