The DJ was soo bad I left confused

The DJ was soo bad I left the second the DJ was wasted.

So the song transitions are so bad that I wondered if it's just Spotify playlist

A lot of songs shouldn't be played at a party. You want to get people moving jumping you are supposed to get people motivated you played songs where people didn't know if they need to leave the dance floor.

This was the DJ birthday. Don't make strangers come to your birthday party and advertise it as a big thing that should have need a free entrance and just for the friends not open club experience.

We only provide a ticketing service for event organisers and we do not have any involvement in the organisation or operation of any events, including the entertainment, so unfortunately what you have described is completely outside of our control and is feedback that should be directed to the event organiser.

We would therefore appreciate if you would remove this review or at least adjust it to reflect the experience that you had with our service during the process of booking your tickets.

We have requested further information from you via Trustpilot so that we can identify your transaction. If we can do this, we would be happy to pass your feedback on to the event organiser, who may reach out to you to discuss your concerns further.

This organisation is an absolute joke

This organisation is an absolute joke. I was supposed to attend a gig on a Sunday, which was moved to the Saturday. I was not notified of this change until the day before (Friday)! It's in Scotland! I'm in Middle England. I can't magic myself up there a day earlier. They won't refund my tickets (which would at least give me money to go somewhere else, even though it's too late to book anything else). Matthew and Jade have explained that they have to "reach out" to the venue. This shows that they don't even keep tabs on these types of changes to respect their customers.

We've reviewed your transaction and your interactions with our support team earlier today. Unfortunately, your review contains several inaccuracies, which we would like to clarify:

1. Refund Request
You were not refused a refund. You contacted us via live chat to request one, and we explained that we needed to contact the event organiser, as refund requests were not enabled on their event. This was communicated clearly to you. Within one hour of your first message, the organiser processed your refund.

2. Event Date Change Notification
The event organiser emailed you on 28 September 2025 to notify you of the event's date change. You were provided with a screenshot confirming the date and content of that email, along with a follow-up message sent today confirming your refund.

3. Tracking Event Changes
We do track changes to events and were aware of the date change. However, for us to automatically process a refund request, the event organiser must have refund requests enabled on their event. The notification email they sent in September asked customers who could not attend the new date to contact them directly for refunds.

We are a small, independent ticketing company, and reviews containing demonstrably false or misleading information can cause serious reputational harm. Publishing statements that are untrue and damaging to a business's reputation constitutes defamation, and we must make clear that this is not acceptable.

We therefore request that you remove or amend your review immediately to reflect the facts outlined above.

We do understand that you may not have seen the organiser's original email notification, which may have caused frustration today. However, it is important that public statements that you post online are accurate and fair.

The Baths were the perfect backdrop for scary tales and things that go bump in the night!

Roisin was an amazing storyteller! The atmosphere in the Baths was fantastic and the whole experience had me jumping and screaming! Perfect Halloween event!

Getting tickets was fine

Getting tickets was fine but that loyalty scheme/ cash back offer was a very unwelcome sight as my financial details have been passed to those scams in the past via legitimate purchases and now I have to watch my bank closely to make sure it wasn’t another (great British bargains) style ripoff

We're not sure what loyalty/cash back offer you're referring to. However we can confirm that your financial details are never shared with any third party. In fact, we don't even have access to your payment information - it is sent securely and directly to our payment processor from your web browser.

Always so easy to access the site and…

Always so easy to access the site and making payment is not difficult to do. Only negative thing is the 20p on top of price of ticket and booking fee!

The 20p charge that you mentioned is applied by the card payment processor per transaction. When an event organiser chooses to separate the service fee from the ticket price, this small fee is added once per transaction rather than per ticket. This ensures that customers buying multiple tickets don't pay more than those purchasing just one.

Appalling Customer Service

Booked event for my child's birthday.. it was then rescheduled for another daylte which was upsetting for my child.. only ro be then told 2 days later its cancelled altogether. Emailed customer service Jade to as if the event was available anywhere else close by and explained how upset my kids were. The reply didnt even contain a simple sorry.. just said I have been reimbursed full stop. Absolutely appalling customer service.. I have 4 extremely unhappy kids and to top it off reimbursement takes 5-10 working days.. do not waste your money people.. a very unprofessional outfit to say the least!

We're truly sorry to hear about your experience. Having an event rescheduled and then cancelled is genuinely disruptive, and when it was planned as a birthday treat for your child, we completely understand how upsetting that must have been.

Decisions to reschedule or cancel events are made by the event organiser, not glistrr — but we appreciate that doesn't make the situation any less frustrating. We're also sorry if the response from our team didn't reflect the empathy the situation called for; that's not the standard we hold ourselves to.

Refunds are processed as promptly as possible, though the 5–10 working day timeline is dictated by the payment provider rather than glistrr. We trust the refund has since reached you. If there's anything further we can help with, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
