Your Gloworm G2.1 Light Heads and G2.x Batteries are covered for 24 months against manufacturing defects and workmanship issues. G1.0 and G2.0 batteries, along with all accessories, are covered for 12 months from the date of purchase. If something goes wrong, we'll repair or replace it at no charge for parts or service. Warranty claims are made through the Gloworm retailer where you purchased your product. Not happy with your purchase? Return it within 14 days for a full refund, including return shipping.

Great, fast and effective customer service.
After not having been used for the summer months, my Gloworm X2 failed to pair with the remote control so I raised a product support case. The next day I received a reply from Nico saying that a new remote was being posted to me. Two days later it arrived and paired immediately.

Good support

I have used Gloworm products for a long time and still have a couple of XS G1 units floating around that refuse to die. I had moved on to the G2 series and had a few problems, the mark of a good company I think is how they sort those out and Nico helped me with a great solution that I am very happy with. Good products and great company to deal with.

Brilliant lights.

These are great lights - technically brilliant (XS, G2.1). Can set personal levels with the App. Used during a recent 20 hours Audax ride. At night I used my setting at 700 lumens (25% of max); the road was well lit even when going downhill & didn't blind oncoming cars. 4 not 5 stars because the website could have more useful pointers & info for first-timers. E.g., Is there a trick to detaching the cable join; what do the various lumens look like at night, i.e. fields of vision; resetting the link to remote button each time; using and understanding the battery settings; and if you don't have a rapid charger already, buy the Gloworm rapid-charge because otherwise it takes quite a while to recharge the big battery. Basically, help me learn what I need to know to get the most out of these brilliant lights. The single strap is okay, but I use a different 2nd strap for added assurance.
Thanks for your ingenuity; yes, would recommend and would buy again.

The USB C connection on my battery has


The USB C connection on my battery has worn and no longer makes reliable connection. A severe weakness as everything else works perfectly and there appears no way to fix it. This was described by your office and the suggestion was "buy another one".
An attitude in this day and age keeping waste to a minimum, I found distasteful

Great products

Great products, they forgot a small extra I ordered. But upon mentioning this they posted it immediately and I had it two days later. No further questions or hassle for me. So I was really happy about that.

Lack of Customer service

When I first tried to connect my lights to the Bluetooth switch I had numerous issues that I need help on and sent 5 emails to the company and in 3 weeks still not one single response, very disappointing.
Eventually worked it out and lights work well.

However, please accept my apology for the lack of a response to your emails to date. We pride ourselves on offering great customer service, but in this case we missed that mark by a long way.

For some context, you emailed while we were away exhibiting at a trade show for the week, and unfortunately I am still working my way through the backlog of emails now. We're only a small team and every now and then our workflow can get disrupted somewhat. Apologies once again. please don't hesitate to get in touch if required and we'll do our best to reply in a much more timely fashion!

i really want to love this light but


i really want to love this light but sadly it has fallen short for me in a few tiny details:
1. the o-ring used to attach the remote switch to the handlebars is too small to clip around my gravel drop bars - Glowworm suggested i just stretch it to fit but the rubber broke after a couple of days. it came off mid ride so i had to search around in the bush in the dark to find it. Glowworm sent me a link to a place where i can purchase a different sized O- ring but its a shame this additional purchase requirement wasn't made clear pre-purchase. having 2 or 3 size options at checkout would be great.
2. i believe these lights used to come with a charger unit but now they suggest you can use any usb-c charger block to charge. however i have found the majority of usb chargers dont pump enough watts to get the battery charging- the only one i have is a laptop power block, way too bulky for bike packing, and even then the battery seems to take a very long time to charge.
3. i can't charge the light using a battery pack either, after a few minutes the light battery starts charging the battery pack and eventually both end up flat.
4. i find the interface with the battery unit to be a little unintuitive- there is an instruction to hold it a certain way to get a readout on battery level, but i find it hard to make it work every time. maybe a little button would help.

none of these issues prevent the light from working, but all together they lead to me feeling a bit of buyers regret.
the marketing online suggests the glowworm light resolves issues found in other lights, however i feel a bit like i have just swapped some issues for other issues.
sorry glowworm, i love what you do but this time it just hasn't hit the mark fir me. hopefully these things can be resolved for future products.
