What a lovely lunch yesterday! The food was amazing, great portion sizes & lovely friendly staff. Sarah was very attentive, really warming & welcoming & made our trip that bit more special. Highly recommend this wee pub.

Popped in to Strelley Board Oak Friday afternoon for a bite to eat, was served by Phil who was fabulous, polite and very helpful. Enjoyed a nice meal in comfortable surroundings with friendly staff. Shout out to Phil they're lucky to have you.

Shabby scruffy interior, mismatch of furniture, torn seats with holes in them, needs an urgent revamp. Waited far to long for a basic meal which came well overcooked.
Won't be going back anytime soon.

Kings arms sandford on thames, Great pub, food excellent, this is my regular pub I go to now.
The staff are very friendly and always look after me. Thank-you to Gabby especially but also, Sophie, kaman, Mark, and the rest of the staff.

I’m extremely upset with a service that was provided at one of your green king pubs in coventry (New Pippen)

News year’s day 01.01.2022 we made a reservation to attend with my in laws wife and kids. We attended around 5:30pm and sat down by the front window.

We looked through the menu we would have our usual to share which was chicken n mix challenge and steak fondue challenge, food was ordered bear in mind it wasn’t busy however still took 45mins to arrive which is ok as we weren’t in a rush.

When the food arrived the steak challenge was all ok with no issues however the chicken -mix was missing chicken wings, we reported that wings were missing to their response they said, “this doesn’t come with wings!!!” but I was right this comes with 6 wings, the girl looked extremely confused but then went away and came back to say “yes were just putting them on now be another 20mins “”

But again, as we started eating the food parts of it was cold chips- chicken nuggets – chicken stewers garlic bread ITS WAS ALL COLD !!!!

So, I called over another member of staff who said this shouldn’t be cold then took it away and said will get you a replacement one for you, but 5 minutes later I believe he was either a manager or someone you’ve just employed with no experience at all. His response was “”you’ve eaten half of this food then you say it’s cold ??””my response was you joking I don’t want a refund, or anything just want it heating up the other guys said he will replace it. Which is it irrespective if I just eaten some of it is loads of different items to which I need to try to see if it was all cold? WHICH IT WAS

I didn’t ask for a refund only replacement, but he became extremely rude and refused to give our food back and continued to argue with me in front of my kids and with others in the restaurant who felt very uncomfortable!!!

At this stage I said just give me my money back then and I will leave.. he said I’m not giving your money back I can’t give you your money back as you’ve eaten it. I then said please go away you’re upsetting my kids, but to this point he got even more ruder and told us NO YOU GET OUT !!! to this point he walked away and was at the bar serving other customers and not finished dealing with our situation with was distorting and upsetting to me and my family. I approached him at the bar who seemed very flustered, and we then asked again we want a refund on our food not just mine but all of ours and again we haven’t even been there that long, and we all didn’t eat our food this was all left even my kid’s food and steak!!!

I then asked for his name and his response was “” I don’t have a name”” HOW RUDE !!! he was unprofessional, he didn’t handle the situation at all, even though my food was taken away to be replaced I never received one apology from any of the staff!!!

We have been going to this pub for years and never been treated like this ever nor spoken to in this manner by a senior member of staff or whatever he was….

I really love going to this pub but after this event I will most definitely not be stepping foot into this pub again!!!

What I would like is a phone call from your manager from this pub or a response ASAP so they can apologise for their incompetence and lack of customer service given, I’m a customer care manager with over 15 years’ experience and would never ever speak or treat my customers in this way and make them feel so embarrassed.

I believe the person’s name was michael ?? who spoke to us with completed disrespect…

with all the above I have mentioned will be posted throughout your social media pages as well as local Facebook community pages which will not look great in these circumstances where businesses like yourself rely on local community to keep coming back and with covid becoming more perminnate thing this may or not affect your business nevertheless I will not relax till I receive apology.

I hope you call me and sort all this out before theses actions are taken to social media ect..

Had to cancel a meal due to a member of party having covid. Despite Greenkings promise to refund desposits of cancelled bookings and despite several emails from me and promises from them, I have still not recieved the deposits back. Greenking constantly lie! Shocking customer service.
