I spoke to Stuart today to advise him that I have cancelled my account with Greyhound. He was professional, polite, helpful and informative and a credit to your company.
The reason I am switching to another bin collection provider is mainly cost. I have a deal with another company that will save me over 200 euro per year.
Stuart advised that I will have to pay 40.80 for my Greyhound bins to be collected and sanitised. That was not communicated to me at the time I signed up to Greyhound. It can be found in Terms and Conditions (16.1) which I believe is sneaky as you know that many people don't read these. Potential customers trust you to give them relevant information such as this when they first sign up.
30 euro to collect your own property and 10.80 for sanitisation is outrageous. This cost should be absorbed into your already high charges.
I would also suggest ensuring that your collectors return empty bins to their correct house. I have seen many an elderly neighbour struggle to pull their bins from either the road or from outside another house.
Thank you for your service. I found it to be mainly efficient.

I hate to write this as I have only ever left excellent reviews but the prices are gone crazy going up every few months
My father is elderly and leaves his bin out early evening as bins collected very early morning and unknown to him some neighbours are using his bin and he is having to pay for them €8.70 on top of yet again charges are gone up I did speak to a member of customer service was very understanding and helpful, but my father can not justify prices for what rubbish he would have very disappointed with outcome sorry to say going to shop around

Received your response and to say we are unfair for giving you 1⭐️ you really need to be doing checks I didn’t want to be writing this in a review your customer service advised they would refund the €8.70 over charge as looked into account and could see that there was a big change in normal weight I appreciated that kindness but then rang me back 2 minutes later and told me they would not be refunding the €8.70 now if you can please tell me we’re the fairness in that is,and my issue is the charges you have added to collections twice this year and not small increases either

I have been with Greyhound for over 20 years and recently switched (as we are constantly being told to do) because of an increase in Greyhound's prices.
Greyhound refuse to collect the old bins from my property. The staff in Greyhound have told me that the bins are full so the crew won't take them. This is a lie.
Apparently Greyhound have been doing this for decades. Removing their old bins is part of their contractual obligation, but, given that this Company has ignored almost all of their legal obligations, they ignore this too, to the extent of calling their customers liars.
I have now submitted a complaint to the National Waste Collection Permit Office Home (nwcpo.ie), which is the agency that oversees the behaviour of waste companies in Ireland.

Excellent service and quick response when I needed a damaged bin to be replaced. Spoke with one of their agents who solved my problem in about two minutes. A new bin had been received as requested and one of the black bins returned to the company. Turned out, through no fault of theirs, that they took a usable bin instead of the damaged one but they are happy to come back again and take and replace the damanged one. No quibbles, just good service.

The price is competitive but I had a terrible experience. I stayed with them only because I was told the issue would be solved and they were giving me discounts to continue with them.
The problem is that I usually get 4 to 5 weeks (rarely more) without the truck miss collecting my bin. Every time I have to go into the chat and ask for recollection which they sometimes missed.
I even got a call from "the manager". Again solved for some weeks and happened again.
It is just so frustrating because it is the same house, same spot and same bin...HOW can it happen???
Anyway, my recommendation is to stay away from this CIA if you want your bins being collected when you put them out.

I finally switched providers as Greyhound missed my bin collection too many times, or didn't empty the bin.
Sore losers.
My drive is open, and the bins are kept on non-collection days near but not on the footpath. The black bin required waste collection before they would take the bin away but they couldn't tell me a date for pickup, so I didn't put it on the footpath.
They are using this as an excuse as to why the bin wasn't emptied over the last week (and they can't take the bin away until this happens).
Now they want to charge me 20euros to empty the bin- which is the equivalent of a full month of service.
It's interesting- my brown and green bin was taken no hassle from my drive, but they can't even empty the black bin that is also in my drive and not on the footpath? Seems to me they are trying to put the screw in me because I switched providers.

Really terrible service. I can't get garbage bags, the landlord has a contract with the gray dog. Since he is not interested in the house, apart from the rent, he is not interested in the contract. Garbage is piling up in front of the house. Landlord has a contract and is the only one with an order code, so customer service is not communicating with me. There are dogs in front of the house, paid for transport, but the gray dirty dog will only take money and not provide the service. Never pay Greyhound. They only respond if you give five stars as a review. If you give less, they don't respond.

3 price hikes in 12 months, 21 to 23, to 26, to 29 a month. Not so much as an email to let their customer know. Disgrace really.
Have the same bins probably 10 yrs. One blew over in wind and lid broke. 25 euro to replace. Joke. Will move elsewhere, better value to be had.
