Another black bin day another day with no bin collection from Greyhound. This is the THIRD black bin collection in a row that Greyhound have failed to collect my black bin. I’ve spoken to countless agents, a manager/supervisor, promised whatever the issue would be that it would be worked out and yet again the issue continues. Plus I live in Dublin. So it’s not like the middle of nowhere. Take my advice, if you don’t want to spend your time calling and emailing Greyhound and leaving your bins on the street for a week waiting on a seconding ‘collection’ choose a different company.

**Avoid** not the first time my bin was uncollected, however this time it was Christmas week, our estate received a txt message to say bins could not be collected due to obstruction on the road (they couldn't explain this) they arranged for a new day for collection 2 days later bin was.full at this stage , only to come home to a full bin uncollected, I rang them but office were closed as was a Saturday until 3 days later , when I called the staff member was so rude and just kept speaking over me, they said we will arrange a collection in 3 working days I tried to explain my bin was already full but he did not want to know and said we will not be able to collect any more bins if full but did not even try to facilitate due to their error for not collecting. Completely rude and unreliable, I have since left these and went with another reliable and cheaper company with friendly staff

I am still waiting for my green bin to be lifted 10 days after lift day on Mon 12th Dec.I have made several calls to depot and been told to continue to leave my bin out.

My brown bin was left unemptied on Monday the 12th Dec despite the account being in credit and my green bin that was beside it being emptied. I rang Greyhound and a customer care agent wrote that if I left my bin on the pavement it would be collected in a day or so.....on Friday 16 Dec the bin was still sitting pretty so I contacted Greyhound for the 2nd time and was again assured that my bin would be collected on Saturday the 17th Dec, But guess what? My bin is still sitting outside-stinking just a bit less than Greyhound Waste customer service.

Bin hasn't been collected for over a month. After 3 phone calls and promises later, bin is still full. They just fob you off on the phone but not actually doing anything about it. This is not the first time either. If you're reading this to decide who to sign up with, I suggest you keep looking.

No humanity. No goodwill. Had a small amount of excess light bulky cardboard in a half full see thru plastic bag and they left it there. I left it on top of the bin so that it could be weighed and paid for. But no. No customer service. No humanity. No customer care. A missed opportunity to show a little goodwill. To connect with a customer.

As there’s no way to reply to Greyhounds comment here I’m editing my original post. Greyhound finally acknowledge my comment from 10 months ago. Think about it. Ten months. That about sums them up. Then they use some excuse about the local authority but give no information as to what the actual by law states. Pffft. Humbug. And they throw in some waffle about customer satisfaction is our highest priority

They don't care at all about the customer and their mistakes. They don't collect the rubbish, and if you contact them saying they forgot, they give you 2 weeks to collect it. An irresponsible company which such a huge responsibility. 3 weeks waiting to do their job, once I have paid for it.

We’ve been Greyhound customers for a couple of years now and we’re very happy with the service.
There are never any issues with bin collections and when we call in with queries, the customer care team are quick to respond & super helpful.

Paid €430 for a skip the August bank holiday weekend. It arrived at 7pm the Friday night. Greyhound took it on the Monday with no warning and no explanation of what happens if its overweight. On August 8th the company took another €605 from my account with no warning, no permission and no breakdown of how they got that figure. I filled the skip with household waste and rubble from my front garden which I explained to the man on the phone when ordering the skip. He suggested that the skip I ordered would be more than sufficient for the amount of waste. Its impossible for the person hiring the skip to know if its overweight and seems impossible that the skip would be so much overweight that it cost €605 extra. I've called and webtext with Greyhound since the 8th and I'm still waiting on a call back from the skip section. I could have ordered another skip and a smaller one for the same price as the overcharge. I had family and neighbours order a skip since and I made sure they ordered from other companies as I don't want to see other people get ripped off by Greyhound.

First time using Greyhound and never again. Ordered a Skip delivery for Friday am and as of writing this on Saturday evening at 6pm, nothing has arrived. Contacted customer service by phone on Friday 2 times and on Saturday 2 times and their staff blatantly lied to me on the four occasions that skips would arrive at certain times. NEVER will I use this company again due to lies and overall very very poor service. Had incurred costs as had staff rostered on for both Friday and again Saturday to dump everything. Will be looking for immediate refund on Monday and compensation for incurred costs due to non delivery of skip. Advice - Stay away from Greyhound!

Update. Now waiting 11 days for the skip to be collected. Rang again last Saturday and was told it would be collected the next day.
Each time I see the skip people have dumped more rubbish in it. I explained that to Grayhound and they said not to worry. I am worried.
Editing this to be fair.
The skip finally delivered on day 3. Part of the payment was refunded. Sorted only after getting through to customer care who were very helpful.
Now waiting 2 full days for a skip to be delivered. We have been told 6 times that it's on the way, will be here in an hour ect, still no sign of it.
The customer service is appalling.

Serious lack of transparency in pricing. Price increase was applied to my account without any notification. When I spoke to customer services prices seem to vary depending on who you speak to on the phone and "what they can do for you"

Great customer service , I had some issues with my green bins not being collected and on both occasions they came back to collect it , also refunded money back onto my account and then one evening came and emptied all 3 of my bins for me. Very efficient, helpful and great service! Also very affordable, I also needed a new bin and they came and collected my old one and gave me a new one for just €10 , highly recommend

I know I only left review but I have to leave another for the excellent customer service if I could leave more than 🌟I would had issue with bins and contacted customer service not even 2 minutes on phone and sorted no problem to big or to small

Highly recommend Greyhound!! I have never had any issues with my bins being lifted the bin lads are super nice plus my partner ordered a skip last week I rang up to chance if I could get it early as I was clearing my recently passed fathers home and was transferred to a guy Jordan or Gordan from the skip department who was so lovely and very professional about the situation so he got the skip to me early and the lad was in contact the next few days to make sure everything went okay.. amazing service and thanks to the young lad for his compassion and professionalism. well done Greyhound!
