Ice brought down our copper gutters 2-3-2026. Notified local agent that evening. New gutters installed in June of 2026. Initial settlement for the entire replacement was about equal to the contractor's cost of gutters alone. Ins. Co. was $20 per foot under on gutter cost and only used $11/hr. labor. Took many weeks to get a fair settlement.

Everyone I dealt with was professional, friendly, and very responsive. They were quick to reply to my questions, helpful throughout the process, and made everything easy and smooth. I really appreciated their excellent communication and willingness to assist.

The representatives at all levels that I dealt with were very professional and easy to work with. They called when it was necessary to have direct contact but also used email effectively. They worked around my schedule when I was on Vacation/or too busy to talk.

Insurance can be cumbersome as there were two levels that I had deal with. They were prompt with the settlement when it was finalized.

After our approval the processor gave me detailed instructions/guidance. She stated if the estimate was over what they gave us that I could call back for an adjustment. That relieved my stress level just to know.
Bottomline, they made the process easy.

I was disappointed that the AC unit wasn’t covered; not even the payment for the tech that we had come out; especially after him taking time off from his real job.

The burglaries continued over a three week period with no arrests. Evidence was taken and fingerprints by S.D. Police but no follow-up. The thieves constantly returned to the property and the damages continued to happen. Because the Insurance Company is threatening to discontinue coverage that the church has had for over 40 years. The church is attempting to locate the criminals and make do with what repairs they can. Insurance staff has tried to accommodate. But overall all the remolding work on the church is ruined from these incidents. Both interior and exterior.

Then length of time it took to inform us that the claim, which was only for the dome of the skylight, was denied. The reason for the denial was understandable, normal wear & tear, but I had to call you guys in order to get that status which I had to relay to our board of trustees, pastor and congregation.
