Hi,

If you’ve experienced three units failing within 48 hours, that’s clearly not acceptable and needs to be looked at properly.

I would like to personally investigate what’s occurred across each replacement and determine the appropriate resolution.

Thanks for your review.

Sorry to hear about the cracked screen — that’s definitely frustrating. While our watches are built tough, no glass is completely immune to impact damage.

I appreciate you acknowledging that we replaced the first unit under warranty.

If the replacement has also failed, that’s something I absolutely want to review personally. Multiple faults aren’t the standard we aim for, and I’d like to understand exactly what’s happened here.

We are an Australian-registered company, operated and supported locally. While some of our products are manufactured offshore (as is common with consumer electronics), all customer service and warranty support is handled here in Australia.

I completely understand the frustration around tracking delays. Occasionally international transit updates can stall before the next scan appears, especially while parcels are between hubs. That said, we never want customers feeling left in the dark.

I completely understand that receiving a replacement doesn’t instantly rebuild confidence — especially if your initial experience was disappointing.

There are a number of similar base-model smart watches manufactured globally that share hardware platforms. We do not claim to manufacture microchips — we design, configure, test, support, and warranty our product under the Hard Hat brand.

Sorry to hear you feel that way — that’s definitely not the experience we want anyone to have.

Just to clarify, Hard Hat is an Australian-owned brand, and all returns/refunds are processed through our Australian warehouse, which is why returns are sent back to Australia. Also, since you are in the UK there are no administration fees.

Karl has already been in contact with our team and we’ve provided the return details, and I’ve also just followed up personally via email again today to help get this sorted as smoothly and quickly as possible.

Once the watch arrives back with us in unused condition, we’ll process the refund ASAP in line with our returns policy.

There are a number of smart watches on the market that share similar hardware platforms. However, our product is configured, tested, supported and warranted under the Hard Hat brand here in Australia.

If your battery performance has significantly deteriorated after 13 months, I understand your frustration.

While our manufacturer warranty period is six months, I’m happy to personally review your case.

Sorry again for the confusion mate.

We had accidentally provided you with the wrong tracking number initially, which understandably caused a lot of frustration (especially after you spent time speaking with Royal Mail).

I’ve now personally checked your order and sent you the correct tracking number via email, and your parcel is nearly there.

Thanks for your honest review and feedback.

Sorry to hear the battery life and heart rate monitor haven’t met expectations — battery performance can vary depending on brightness, notifications, call usage, and health tracking settings, but 3 days definitely isn’t ideal if it’s being used normally.

In terms of apps, the watch uses the companion app for syncing and settings, but I understand it can be disappointing if you were expecting downloadable apps directly on the watch.

Just to clarify — we’re definitely not Alibaba. We’re an actual registered Australian/English brand and we ship thousands of orders every month.

Like many brands, we use a range of international logistics partners depending on the destination and shipping lane, and in some cases that can include Cainiao as part of the courier network.

That said, I completely understand your frustration if your delivery took longer than expected, and I’d genuinely like to look into your specific order and help get things sorted properly.
