HETAS is the national organisation working for consumer safety and the wider public interest in safe, efficient and environmentally responsible use of biomass and other solid fuels. Our purpose is 'Working together for a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable environment'. Through our website you can search for approved and registered installers, chimney sweeps, retailers, servicing technicians and products ranging from stoves through to biomass boilers. HETAS operates it’s competent person scheme under authorisation from The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) and overseen by The United Kingdom Accreditation Services (UKAS) under the certification standard BSENISO 17065:2012. HETAS is part of Cleaner Safer Group.

Help & advice with the registration process
Julia - Business Development Executive - was very helpful with the process for our organisation to become HETAS registered. The process requires a lot of documentation to be uploaded. After our first upload, more documentation was required. I contacted Julia by phone and she explained what was needed and how documents should be named. When I emailed Julia the additional documentation she processed it very quickly and sent me an email acknowledgement, clearly explaining the next steps.
Thank you Julia, excellent customer service :)

I needed to obtain my HETAS certificate…
I needed to obtain my HETAS certificate and initially noticed that the company had registered it to the wrong address. I contacted them by email, and they responded very quickly.
Breeze Creter was extremely helpful and guided me through the whole process until everything was corrected. I was very impressed with the communication, professionalism and level of service throughout.
I’m very pleased with the outcome and would highly recommend Breeze Creter for the excellent customer service.

I recently dealt with Barry Mairs, who was professional, friendly and knowledgeable throughout. He took the time to explain everything clearly, carried out the work to a high standard, and left everything clean and tidy afterwards.

Abbie Bennett HETAS
Abbie Bennett from HETAS has always politely and professionally sorted out any issues that I have come up against with HETAS as an installer. Their tech and systems can be clunky to say the least with the shop platform a challenge! (the answer phone with its options is a total frustration). Trying to purchase things online impossible but each time I have needed a solution then Abbie has genuinely sorted me out on over the years! Trying buying a Data Plate or sthg over the phone I defy you! So thanks due to her for keeping me same and keep up the good work!
