Amazing Shoes, pretty bad order fulfillment
Update, the day after I posted this review, the shoes shipped, and I received them in three days. My wife absolutely LOVES them, they are so comfortable, she didn't want to take them off.
Honestly, they look better than was expected, the glitter and sparkle of the shoe is just amazing. She will wear these every day if she can.
So, I highly recommend the shoe, but I can't ignore the order fulfillment process. It was pretty darn bad and very frustrating. I think three stars is fair.
Below is my original review.
I would LOVE to review these shoes. Truly, I cannot wait to get them for my wife. However, HeyDude seems to have the worst order fulfillment in the world.
I originally placed my order on November 13th. I guess I should start including the year. One day later I received an email saying my order had shipped! I was excited.
I clicked on the tracking information and it indicated the shipping label had been created, but UPS did not yet have the package. No problem. Several days went by, I decided to check on my order. I received the same message.
So, I contacted customer service. I was told despite what the order indicated when I placed it, ACTUALLY they had 10 business days to ship the order. If I still hadn't received it November 29, then let them know.
Well, I waited over two full weeks from my order date, and no package arrived and UPS didn't have it.
I again contacted customer service, and here is where it goes from inept to really weird. They said, "sorry, we will place another order for you". So, after X number of days, they just give up and assume they lost the order internally? I've seen the operations at literally hundreds of businesses, large and small, and I have never heard of a process remotely like this. What kind of controls do you have in place?
In any event, I, now I realize foolishly, thought this was a one time event, and I really want the shoes, so I agreed to a re-order. The next day, I was notified my order had shipped! 5 days later, UPS does not have the package. I do not have the package, and I have no confidence I will ever get anything from HeyDude.
What's really wild is they just paid MILLIONS of dollars as a settlement with the government for this very issue. Google HeyDude and FTC. I guess they liked paying out millions so much, they want to do it again?
If I ever receive the shoes, I'll update my review to reflect my wife's thoughts on them.

Comodissime sia le estive che quelle invernali
Comodissime e robuste quelle estive vanno anche in lavatrice senza alcun problema e ritornano come nuove, suola resistente e soffice. Ora ho comprato quelle invernali, sono morbidissime e calde.

Gentile Claudia, ci scusiamo se ha ricevuto l'articolo errato. Le confermiamo che il ritiro è stato gratuito perché è stato un nostro errore.
Abbiamo verificato e la spesa che ha pagato è stata quella del contrassegno del nuovo ordine. Se avesse scelto un altro metodo di pagamento non avrebbe avuto nessun altro costo aggiuntivo in quanto le spese di spedizione sono gratuite.

Le ho provate con un po’ di perplessità ma appena calzate le ho trovate leggerissime e comodissime, scoprendo con immenso piacere che si potevano togliere anche le loro solette per mettere i propri plantari! Fantastico! Quando cammini sembra di stare su una nuvola. Alla fine ne ho comprate tre paia di colore diverso.
