The order took ages to arrive - hadn't realised it was coming from China. The order was incomplete - tried emailing them several times but to no avail. Disappointed with the product when it arrived - looked really cheap. Disappointing.

Have been offered a £3 refund then a £10 refund if I'd take my review off Trust pilot....said I'd want to see the money in my account before reluctantly taking any review off. Not heard anything since. Dreadful customer service!

Edit: The company are now ignoring my emails! Don't deal with this company.

Another edit: They keep saying that they're dealing with a huge number of enquiries! I wonder why?! I'm getting the same email asking if I'll take the review off Trust Pilot and then they'll issue a £10 refund.

Stumbled across this lovely store while scrolling. THEY TOTALLY LET ME DOWN!

I placed my order weeks ago and I am just so pleased that I wasn’t taken in by the buy 2 get one free because I am still waiting.

I have contacted the company 3 times and also asked for a refund but they just ask that I wait a little longer. When I track my order it just asks me to select a collection point despite having opted for home delivery. I am unable to get out to collect.

I am very disappointed. BUYER BEWARE.

I was really wary of ordering from Hobbyart as the website looked a bit sketchy, but they had the best price on some needle punch kits which I wanted to buy as a gift.
The order was processed with no issues and delivered in a timely manner.
I didn't open the packets as they were a gift, so I can't comment on the quality really, but the gift recipient hasn't reported any issues! However, they haven't done needle punch before so it may be that if the quality isn't great, it's not really an issue, or they wouldn't notice? I appreciate others have not had the experience I did.

Lovely designs, easy instructions, I find the printed fabric makes sewing so much quicker.

I ordered a needle felt painting kit on 18/11/25.
This company advertise themselves as a Uk company but the goods actually come from China!
This item was ordered for my friend's birthday yesterday 27th Nov but has still not arrived.
I contacted Hobbyart "UK" who apologised and offered me a £3 voucher and then when I refused this they offered a £6 voucher to give to my friend to spend at Christmas!

Se demoran mucho en contestar. Llevo alrededor de 2 meses tratando de solucionar varios problemas. El servicio al cliente es bastante deficiente. Tienen en su página que los procesos de devolución son rápidos y fáciles y a mí no me dan respuesta. El paquete llegó en pésimo estado y no me han dado solución para gestionar la devolución del paquete y del dinero. Es una pesadilla.

I had previously written a poor review on a cross stitch pattern I bought from this company. They asked me to remove it and they would refund me in 3 working days. Guess what? I removed my previous review but haven't received a refund. These people are dishonest, sell shoddy goods and I'd avoid them at all costs.

As an absolute beginner to cross stitch tapestry, Hobbyart offered everything I needed to start my new hobby. The choice of kits is huge from easy samples ideal for children to full cover tapestries for the more competent hobbyist. The pre-printed patterns suited my personal preference with a great selection of designs, that had me earmarking future projects.
I am so glad I came across this site. It has made my venture into cross stitching an easy and pleasant transition.

Not from the UK at all! Shipped from China and the quality is not great. Very small quantity of thread supplied, cheap quality kit. Very annoyed that this company can appear to be a UK based company until you get your shipping notice and it is clearly coming from China! I will not be buying from this company again, I do not like the deception and the fact they are charging a lot of money for very poor quality. I will not be returning my item since reading the other reviews that a refund is not given or it can take months to get your money back. I will use this as a lesson and I will only buy from companies I know in the future. Buyer beware!!

Dos veces que he pedido un desastre. Quise pintar la cara de mi hijo y no se parecía en nada y eso que me lo cambiaron dos veces. Lo vuelvo a intentar y ahora me mandan un lienzo y con la foto de mi hijo y le falta un brazo. Servicio de atención al cliente malo porque no suelen contestar.

Got a custom cross stitch. Actually arrived in good time but the pattern is so tiny on the printed version it's impossible to see and its printed on the canvas but again so blurry its unreadable. First email to customer services ignored. Second they said I needed to buy another kit that was larger for it to be more readable. How ridiculous! Do not buy from this company!

SCAM outfit! Trade as Beckymetal; Loveart & Hobbyart (and possibly others). All operate same way. Goods are shipped from China. They admitted to not delivering my product but ignored all requests for a refund. They do not publish negative reviews on their website.

No problems with this purchase but the packaging was dreadful and damaged on arrival. The different packets, which were gifts look cheap and nasty. Would not purchase again.

My order was delivered on time and am pleased to bits 😀 great items and speedy service, will definitely be using again, many thanks ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ordered some punch embroidery kits for my niece and they were fantastic. No issues at all. Ordering some more soon!

Llevo más de un mes esperando la devolución de mi dinero por tres lienzos personalizados que encargué y que vinieron mal, arrugados, sin caja protectora, sin bastidores, mal definidos y con colores que nada se asemejan a las fotos enviadas.
En total les he enviado ya mas de 30 mails, a los que o bien no contestan, o cuando lo hacen me ofrecen absurdeces, como que me reembolsan 10€, o me regalan unos pinceles (mi pedido fue de 105,98€), y ante mi negativa, vuelven a ofrecerme una absurdez... entiendo que para que me canse y desista en mi reclamación.
Tampoco me facilitan sus datos para poder hacerles llegar la reclamación oportuna, ya que en su página no aparecen, después de haberselos pedidod infinidad de ocasiones.
Por favor, tened cuidado y pensarlo muy bien antes de comprar en esta página, salvo que querais perder vuestro dinero

La verdad, muy descontento con el producto recibido y con esta empresa. En primer lugar, la foto está mal renderizada, mi cara la han renderizado toda con el color 22(blanco), motivo por el cual se ha realizado la pintura con 23 colores en lugar de los 24 solicitados.
Por otro lado, el marco de madera era de mala calidad, estaba áspero (mal pulido y con astillas que se podian clavar).
Todo se lo he escrito por correo, con buena educación y explicando bien lo sucedido, transmitiendo mi descontento por el mal renderizado de la imagen (y por ende los colores del dibujo asociados a mi cara en el lienzo) y por los defectos en la madera. Su respuesta tras varios correos era siempre la misma, dando largas y diciendo “primero finaliza la pintura para ver el resultado final y después tomamos acciones si no está contento”. Que me disculpen, pero si la foto está mal renderizada y el color que viene asociado para pintar mi cara es el blanco, ya se sabe que resultado final que va a quedar, no? Y no hablemos ya de la madera….
Yo, sintiéndolo mucho, me he sentido estafado y no recomendaría el producto para nada, y para más decepción, siendo el primer aniversario con mi pareja, y más aun, al ni siquiera darme una solución satisfactoria… quisiera mi devolución del dinero, pero la verdad es que el tiempo en el que te entierran en correos hace que se te quiten las ganas de seguir…

Scam! I am so annoyed that I made an order without checking the reviews first. I requested a refund and cancellation instantly, the order hasn’t been shipped. It’s now been more than a week and their ‘support team’ feels like I’m speaking to a wall.
They either ignore what I say and won’t issue a refund NOR has the order been shipped. Absolute scam, do not trust them and do not buy from them.
