I was in Iceland for 5 days and it didn't go at all as I expected. The Camper without light, without heating (with the same temperature as on the street) one night, dirty cushions, remains of the previous guests and a long etc. All this did not allow us to lead a decent standard of living during the holidays, causing great damage to both economic and health. All this for an exorbitant price, NOT WORTH THE QUALITY PRICE. All-risk insurance covers practically nothing!!! It only covers you if a serious misfortune happens to you, but moral damages do not even deign to compensate them. I don't recommend.

Iceland Campers was the First Camper I ever Booked for a Trip, and it was the best Choice I could have made. We had the Camper for 10 days, and were very happy with Everything. They are a very competent and friendly Team! When we had questions or problems they answerd very quick and Tool their time explaining everything! Would always Book again!!

We were a group of 5 people for 8 days and everything was perfect. Charlie and Kacper, the guys from the company, were super attentive and helped us with everything we need

We stayed a week in this camper and the truth is that we have not had any kind of problem, we travelled the whole country and we would choose them again, the attention of Charlie and Kacper has been excellent and has never been lacking

We rented the camper for 8 days, and from day one the help and attention were incredible, thanks to Kacper and Charlie. The camper was very well equipped and very comfortable. It kept the cold from outside out. I 100% recommend this company.

Everything was very nice.

Charlie was amazing from the start, he helped us right from the off selecting the right van for our trip. His customer service was 10/10 also offering us coffees and tips for getting around Iceland. They also have a wide range of vehicles perfect for anyone. If you’re looking for a campervan look no further than Iceland campers

Iceland Campers meet us with a smile, told us about the Camper and gave advise for the the 2 weeks we where to begin in the new Renault Campervan. Some problems with the heater was Eithyr quick to solve with another and even greater Camper. That gave us af fantastic tour also in the cold nights, and when we enjoyed a cup of coffee around the table inside the camper. The Van is nice to drive and have an extraordinary good lights. So book a Iceland Camper for your tour around Iceland.

We rented our campervans through Iceland Campers and Eythor has been amazing from the very first day of booking, got clear instructions from him regarding the rental. The car was new and in good condition. We slept comfortably with our duvets in the worst weather so insulation wise it was pretty good as well. 🙌

Great experience

I had a great experience with Iceland Campers. The staff was very communicative and welcoming, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The camper was clean, in excellent condition, and the price was fair. Pick-up and drop-off were quick and easy. I would definitely recommend Iceland Campers and will rent from them again.

To start off, I contacted Iceland Campers about four months in advance by phone, and was immediately met by Eythor (the owner) on the other end. From that first call and all the way until the very last day of our trip, he was always available to answer our countless questions about everything related to a Ring Road journey in Iceland. I just want to give a huge personal thank you for your incredible work ethic and helpfulness. You are extremely service-minded, and it truly shows—it was both noticed and deeply appreciated. You really put our minds at ease throughout the entire trip!

A few days before our departure, we realized that we had accidentally booked our van one day too early—both for the pick-up and the return. Luckily, this turned out not to be an issue at all. The van was still available for two more days after our departure, and Iceland Campers kindly let us adjust the booking by one day without any fees or problems. That was a big relief and speaks volumes about their flexibility.

The trip itself was absolutely amazing. We truly got the full Iceland experience—everything from wild winds and heavy rain to stunning rainbows over waterfalls on sunny days. We saw it all: waterfalls, puffins, lava fields, mountains, and so much more!

For our family of five (basically five adults), having a rental van was essential. We chose the Grand Camper, and it was perfect for us. Of course, traveling with soaked clothes after the rain wasn’t always ideal, but we managed just fine. The space inside was more than enough, and overall it worked out really well for everyone.

Towards the end of our trip, we unfortunately had a flat tire in Vik. But, just as with everything else, the service was excellent. We were quickly guided on how to find the spare tire and the right tools to fix it. We were even offered help in the morning, but since we wanted to get going early, we managed to fix it ourselves without any problems.

The prices are also very competitive, especially considering that Iceland Campers is still a smaller, family-owned company. That’s a huge plus in my book—without compromising on quality in any way.

All in all, I can’t think of a single thing to complain about. This was truly a 5-star experience! Over the past few years, we’ve traveled quite a lot around Europe, and I’ve noticed that family-owned businesses are almost always the best option. If you’re deciding between Iceland Campers, a bigger rental company, or any other alternative—look no further. Even though I haven’t tried other companies in Iceland, I can confidently say that you can’t go wrong with Iceland Campers.

We had a great experience! Communication was excellent from the start – clear, friendly, and very helpful. The camper itself was in perfect condition: clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Our kids absolutely loved it too and are already asking when we can go again! Whenever we had a question, the responses were quick, clear, and supportive, which made the whole trip very comfortable.

If there had been a 4x4 available, we would have booked again right away for next year. And when we plan to drive the Ring Road, we will definitely come back here! Highly recommended!

Good camper and good workers

Super loueur . Réactif aux questions posées et la voiture était top (un Kangoo) avec une literie bien confortable pour 2. Nous avons fait plus de 3000km et le fait d’avoir une voiture récente nous a permis d’avoir l’esprit tranquille tout au long de notre séjour . Le service shuttle qui s’adapte à nos horaires d’avion et aussi un grand plus . Je recommande sans hésiter ce loueur et encore bravo à eux pour leur disponibilité 👍

Had a very pleasant experience with iceland campers. They are a new company with a new fleet of vans which was very nice! The vans have internal heating, running water, and sleep up to 5 people. I spent a week in iceland, if i was to come back i would definitely be using their services once again!
