Learning at your own pace!
The freedom to pick your learnings and that too at your own pace is what i find Interaction Design Foundation a much better place to learn... The content was easy to understand and interesting at the same time.. I just enjoyed every moment of my learning time!

Excellent introduction to UX/UI
I really enjoyed the courses I took on with iXDF. The quality of the content was excellent, it was thorough, well structured and organised, and so they were easy to follow. The mini assessments at the end of each module were really useful to keep me on track. As a beginner to UX/UI these courses are an essential foundation to learning the basics. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to start out in this field. And as far as value for money goes, I haven’t seen anything better out there!

Cobro automático poco transparente
Recientemente me vi afectada por unas prácticas extremadamente cuestionables por parte de IxDF, una empresa que se presenta como una institución de formación reconocida. Al darme de alta en su servicio, descubrí por casualidad que realizaron un cobro a través de la tarjeta asociada a una wallet en mi cuenta de Google, sin que mediara un consentimiento explícito ni una notificación clara previa.
Este cobro, aunque técnicamente legal, se apoyó en un diseño de experiencia de usuario que aprovecha dark patterns: mecanismos poco transparentes que dificultan a los usuarios tomar decisiones informadas o actuar a tiempo. En mi caso, se activó automáticamente una suscripción sin una advertencia clara, amparándose en un periodo de prueba de 14 días que, de no ser revisado a tiempo, deja a las usuarias sin posibilidad de actuar antes de que se les cobre.
Lo más preocupante es que, investigando más, encontré múltiples testimonios de personas que han vivido situaciones similares. Incluso tras cancelar el servicio, algunas han reportado cobros recurrentes sin opciones claras de reclamo, lo cual sugiere que no se trata de un caso aislado, sino de una estrategia sistemática.
Afortunadamente, en mi caso, tras contactar con atención al cliente, me devolvieron el importe cobrado y realizaron un seguimiento adecuado. Aprecio que hayan respondido, pero considero fundamental visibilizar estas prácticas para que otras personas estén atentas y puedan evitar verse en la misma situación.
Es una verdadera lástima que una plataforma educativa, que promueve principios de diseño ético y centrado en el usuario, utilice mecanismos que contradicen esos mismos valores. Este tipo de experiencias erosionan la confianza en servicios que deberían estar orientados a formar y empoderar, no a confundir.

Our sign-up/check-out process is standard across the industry and has been designed to make everything as clear and transparent as possible for members to avoid situations like this:
Step 1: You select which membership type you want to purchase. Since we don't have a free membership option, each membership's price is shown in monthly terms for easy price comparison, and you can also see whether the membership type is billed monthly or annually.
Step 2: You enter your name, email address, and read through our terms to confirm.
Step 3: You're shown the full price of your selected membership to be paid and asked for your payment details to proceed with your purchase. These details must be entered by you and confirmed in order to finalize the checkout.
I'm so sorry to hear that your Google extension entered your payment details for you, but unfortunately, we don't have control over third-party extensions that members use on their devices. If this happens, you can simply exit the page without clicking the payment confirmation button.
I understand how this can be frustrating, and we never intend for our members to feel misled. Our terms and pricing information, are clearly outlined at checkout to ensure that every member makes an informed decision.

3-year-old Member of IxDF
I am a self-taught UI/UX designer, and a huge part of my learning comes from IxDF. As a fresher with a master's in Information Technology and no prior background in UI/UX, I built a strong foundation through their courses.
Initially, I was skeptical, as many platforms are profit-driven, leveraging trends and niches to attract customers only to leave them astray. But IxDF was different—I received incredible support from one of the co-founders, Rikke Friis Dam.
When I faced issues with course enrollment, she made exceptions that allowed me to complete my courses. For instance, IxDF usually limits users to two active courses at a time, and enrolled courses must be completed. I mistakenly enrolled in a course and reached out to her—without rigidly citing policies, she understood my situation and helped me switch courses.
More recently, when my professional membership ended, I applied for a student membership, which only allows two active courses. At the time, I had three. She granted me a grace period to complete one course and converted the remaining grace days into credits, reducing my membership cost.
IxDF remains my go-to platform for its outstanding support, genuine care for its members, and industry-relevant courses designed by professionals.

Best place to learn online
If you are looking to study user experience, human centered design or anything in this field, this is the perfect platform to do so. This platform has applied the principles they are promoting into the learning experience themselves. It is way more than just signing up to a platform for a course with a certificate. The amount of resources, discussion forums and most importantly local communities complete the entire ecosystem. I see myself learning from this platform for a long time.

IDF offer some fantastic courses
IDF offer some fantastic courses. I took some senior management courses in UX UI Design and they have great tips and reminders and the tutors explain things in a very easy to follow format. I would recommend IDF for any level of course. The website is easy to use and the community is superb.
