Just in the middle of the Covid_19 your company is still charging people for shipping . Shame on you . You need our business to stay in business so wave the Shipping and Return fee people. You need to look at what other stores are doing to stay in business . The quality of your merchandise is not great , I bought a sweater and it just hangs with a top for the summer but it comes up around my neck . Your Processing Fee Has To Go.

linen blouses. i bought several. the colors were so enticing. however , they were of poor quality fabric and cost more than a very good quality shirt from another national chain... or two . fading was dreadful. if you can afford to spend 100 bucks for a blouse that will not even last one summer , go ahead. but ive got linen from other makers that last a very long time.i do not understand how they ever got 5 stars for these shirts. probably before they were laundered. and you know, i wash them all by hand in shampoo and hang to dry. they still look like bad hankies very quickly... jjill did contact me about making it right . doing something to alleviate my distress. but , i just got a gorgeous linen from another maker, llbean, and talbots is having a wonderful sale. i think i will be , just fine.... good luck, jill thank you

I placed my first online order with J.Jill and was very excited to receive my order. I selected the upgrade for shipping at the cost of $8. Upon receiving my order, I noticed that I had been charged $25.95 for shipping. I called to inquire about the additional charge and was told there is always a standard shipping fee of $17.95 and only with a coupon/code through a separate entity (membership fee) would I be eligible for free shipping and returns. I did not see the $17.95 fee and would not have ordered online if I had. This is very unusual with a purchase of merchandise over $150. Unfortunately, I will not be ordering from J.Jill online in the future. Poor customer service for a first time customer or really any customer.
I love the clothes and bargain deals
I love the clothes and bargain deals. I travel a fair amount for pleasure and spend a lot of time playing with my preschool grandchildren. I can look fashionable while feeling like I’m wearing yoga clothes. I get compliments often. My 25 year old daughter has actually ordered some of the plaid pants and thick sweaters too. It’s not just for active grandmothers.
This place is disgusting
This place is disgusting. Using intimidation tactics by calling family members, parents and kids when there is a bill discrepancy? I'm so disappointed I ever purchased as much as a gift card there for the women in my family. Never buying from or for others there again. I received 2 calls regarding a family members billing issue. Come to find they were calling grandparents as well. Turned out to be a problem on their end anyway. Card cancelled. Lost business from an entire family and have no problem spreading the word.

For the most part, I really appreciate JJill's clothing and Service. I have not been displeased with the majority of my purchases and have been purchasing from JJill for years. I don't use the credit card I got from them years ago. It didn't work well for me, so I just use my PayPal. Since their prices are so high, I usually wait till they go on sale and then pick out what I want. No complaints there. Would like faster shipping or at least free shipping on occasion, is one thing I would ask. Lately they have added more color to their inventory and that has been good. What they had before was beginning to get mundane. Love the Wearever knit dresses. I have bought a number of them on discount. Not real satisfied with the Wearever pants or toppers. They don't seem as well made. All in all, I recommend JJill for anyone who likes their style. But the full priced items are simply much too high when you can get much the same quality elsewhere for much less. If you check the sales, however, you won't be sorry. Oh, one other thing. When I plan to buy something I like to first read the reviews. Unfortunately, it no longer shows me the details of anyone's review including those that I write. This inclines to make me go purchase elsewhere, since reviews mean a lot to me.
Online Ordering Issue
My problem is with online ordering. You cannot pay for an order by specifying the amount to put on a gift card and put the rest on a credit card. This is a problem because it is my birthday month, and I cannot get the 20% off without putting part of the sale onto the credit card, which is another poor policy in my opinion. Why not just give the 20% off if the purchaser has the credit card? I tried to do this on the phone, but they could not help me either - told me to go to the local store.

J Jill charged me $37 late fee on a $86 purchase that was 8 days late. Don't ever sign up for a J Jill credit card - they are trying to scam you!
Don’t lose your J Jill receipts!
Like J Jill clothes but their return policy is outdated. I lost my original receipt. Despite bringing a printout from my cc statement for the original purchase they would not make the return for the price I paid just 2 weeks ago...only the current price minus 50%. If I can make a return at Target without a receipt as long as I have the cc I used, why can’t J Jill look at my J Jill card and see what I purchased. Not buying the privacy argument. Doesn’t pay to be a loyal customer anymore.
Update: Just spoke to a friendly J Jill customer service rep. Passing on my complaint but no offer to reimburse me for the difference in price I had to pay. Hopefully someone in corporate will hear and others won't have the frustrating experience I did.

I love the style of clothing but poorly made
I love the style of clothing, but after 5 years of purchasing products I have come to the realization J Jill products are just not worth the money. Every single skirt or pair of pants I have from J Jill has a busted seams waist band or hem. Every single pair of pants! My skin hem came loose after one washing. The lovely sweaters or dusters pill up underneath the arms so easily. Love the style, love the colours, but the clothing does not hold up at all. I wore a dress this weekend before I washed it. After washing in warm water, it is now 1.5 inches shorter- yet another issue.

I have been a customer of JJill for many years but I will no longer be a customer. The quality of your clothing can be brought at Khols, Walmart or Target. Sometimes their clothing is better quality. You need to lower you prices on stretch material or discontinue then, Pants with no pockets, no zippers, sizes don't match people. I am sad I used to depend on JJill but no longer don't want to pay 80. dollars for a pair of pants that I could have purchased for half the price and better quality. Watch out or you will end up like Cold water creek.

Great clothes that can be worn over and over again, I'm a grade school art teacher, so I am tough on my clothes...spots, stains, little hands....the wearever collection holds up well, doesn't seem to stain, is as comfortable as PJ's, and looks professional.
I absolutely love this store
I absolutely love this store. I have found the quality to be dependably excellent and I find lots of styles that support my needs and fashion sense. As a teacher, I need to look put together in the morning, and exactly the same in the afternoon, even if I've been sitting on the floor and climbing in the playground! These are easy, effortless looks, great textiles, and colors and prints that I love! Lots of days when I receive a compliment about what I'm wearing, my answer is simply, "Thanks. It's J. Jill."

I've no idea why the ratings on J Jill are low on here. I've been a customer for many years. I left Chico's as "my " shop over 10 years ago for this store. Essentially, I feel good when I wear my Jill's. The fabric is lovely, the fit great, and they wear well for work and play. I've never had anything poorly made. I used to shop there even more before they closed the store in Lakeland, Florida, so now I have to drive way up a crowded interstate for several miles to Wesley Chapel, so I shop there less. I won't pay shipping to order on line. Anyway, they're good, simple, easy to wear and look good clothes.
Red spots on Wearever Slim Leg Pants
My daughter introduced me to JJill a couple of years ago and it became my favorite place to shop. I loved the Wearever Slim leg pants in black and bought several pair. However, I have had a problem with my two newest pair which are around six months old. I noticed a red spot about the size of my little fingernail on the leg of one pair a couple of months ago. I had been trying to cover the spot with a black marking pen when I wore them. I wore them to my grandson’s school open house the other day and when I returned home and sat down I saw that both legs of the pants were now covered in small red spots. They are now unwearable. I also have a pair of Wearever ankle length black pants that have the same type red spot in the back below the waist band, My two older pair are so far unscathed. What the heck? I do not use any kind of bleach and have not changed any of my detergents. Nothing was spilled on the pants. I have never had any problems like this with other brands of black pants. When I pay $79 for a pair of pants I expect better quality. So disappointed!
Update:
Kudos to Jjill customer service. They credited my account $80.00 and also mailed me a gift card for$39.99. Thanks so much for your prompt attention to this matter. Jjill is once again my favorite store😀
