Terrible customer service and phone manner. Purchased a car from Shorne 3 weeks ago and had to be booked in for an engine light came up. Told to drop off on Monday now nearly 2 days with no updates and when I phone told to just wait until I get a call to collect. I asked for Garage number to call for an update on work and was refused and told I need to wait. The telephone manor was rude and not friendly but rather condescending. Definitely will not recommend and really annoyed at this after sales service🤬

I bought a car from this dealership, I traveled 50 miles to them. When I collected the car on Monday, upon arriving home, the airbag warning came in the dash, this was after a 1 hour trip back home!!. Next day I let Jhon know, the manager at gravesend branch. He didn't care, treated me as a kid and went in roundabouts about the car being faulty, didn't provide any help. The car proceeded to have more faults come on. When I call back, I talked to someone higher which I thought could help me about booking an inspection to assess the car faults and get a refund. Instead, I get threatened and get told im a little kid and telling me what his gonna do when I go to him to inspect the car.

Shut the f.... up man
Shut up you little kid
Come down and I’ll show you what gonna happen to you"

The phrases used by the big boss of JMV GRAVESEND in trying to fix my problems.

Rude and very disrespectful dealership! I’ve never come across a dealership as bad as this one! I were so close to purchasing an E Class from these cowboys at JMV. Travelling from Manchester (4hours away) I did a simple HPI car check on the vehicle which came up with a red flag stating the vehicle had been used as a taxi with TFL which they never disclosed and when I rang them to discuss this he were shouting over the phone saying what I had done were illegal?! He then claimed the vehicle had already been sold to then ask me if I were still coming to see it?! Do not give these guys the £250 deposit that they claim is fully refundable as you most definitely wont get it back! Steer clear from these guys at all costs! Manners go a long way and these people don’t seem to have any.

I reserved a car with Jmv cars as I live some distance away from their location and wasn’t able to go and view the car in person until the weekend. I was told the deposit I paid if £250 was fully refundable.

Later that week I had a change of circumstance and decided that it was not the right time to purchase a car for reasons I won’t go into.

I rang Paul (the sales assistant) and explained I did not want to proceed with the purchase. He was very abrupt, borderline rude wanted to know why I had changed my mind. Reluctantly he agreed to refund my deposit. His whole demeanour had changed when he realised he wasn’t getting a sale.

I sent him my bank details and nothing happened over the next few days. So I contacted him again, he reassured me would deal with it. Again nothing happened. So I contacted him again and he asked for my bank details again and stated this time it would take 4 working days.

I still haven’t been refunded and frankly the level of service I have received has ensured I will not be purchasing any cars from JMV in the future as I can only imagine the trouble I would have if I had purchased a car for thousands of pounds and there was a significant fault with it.

I now feel compelled to raise a dispute with my bank and if that fails go through the small claims court.

My advice to any prospective customer is if you want good service and peace of mind find a car elsewhere.
