BEEARE HIDDEN CANCELLATION FEES NOT INFORMED OF
I started a policy and cancelled within minutes because the deal fell through on my vehicle purchase. I received email confirmation of such. No mention of cancellation fees before, at time of purchase, or in the cancellation confirmation email. I had the policy for 10minutes and was charged 60$ in fees plus the full amount on my card. waiting for refund. You charged my money within seconds but refund will take days to weeks

The insurance is half the price of my current company

After being involved in a total loss accident, I was unable to cancel my policy until the total loss was processed. This took a month, in which time I was charged for two pay periods without a car. I was never offered a rental by any of the representives I spoke with. I canceled my policy as soon as I was able to and they have refused to reimburse me. I highly recommend you go somewhere else.

My mother likes this insurance plan for some reason, so I got the insurance for myself.

lawsuit pending! Root Insurance fraudulently charge me for 6 mos on a policy I never had and on a car I never owned. After several attempts and promises to return my fund, they failed and now ignore my emails and letter of demand 1400 dollars.

I haven't had to use this plant yet, but the price is very reasonable compared to other companies

It was fast and easy until I tried to set up my account. Then I started to have problems.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This company is a joke. I recently switched to Root, thinking I'd save money, but it has been a nightmare. First off, the mobile app is absolute trash. It’s buggy, slow, and barely works. But the real issue is the billing. I noticed random fees charged to my account that I never authorized. When I contacted customer service to get my money back, they were completely useless and refused to issue a refund. Only referred to the policy document, which did not even state the amount. It feels like they are just stealing money and hoping you don't notice. Do yourself a favor and go with a real insurance company.

Paid 288 decided in 2 minutes that I wasn’t going to pay that match and FLAT CANCELLED THE policy. ONLY GETTING $125 r refund?!?!?! I used to be a licensed insurance agent for 20 years! That’s WRONG a flat cancellation provides 100% refund!!!!
