We bought this Kaiser Avantgrade Pro 90cm Built in Cooker Hood (Stainless Steel) in March 2026. We put the filters in the dishwasher to clean them up for the first time two weeks ago, and found out the screws on the filters heavily rusting already. We emailed the service dept of Kaiser and told them the problem, and their answer is there are moisture remained with the screws and is normal. Wait a minute, we got the filters out of the dishwasher once it’s finished and didn’t leave them in the dishwasher for long. And in the user manual, putting filters in the dishwasher to clean up is advised. It was the very first time we wash the filter and got rusty parts is totally unjustified and Kaiser’s servicing team’s answer sounds like they are the only home appliances with screws that are advised to clean with the dishwasher. We are not trying to get a refund as the cooker hood been installed and used, but the answer and attitude of the company just unacceptable. We attached the photos of the filters and the rusty screws here. Not to mentioned, we also doubt the data in the specification, in which the extraction rate is doubled of my old hood, but the extraction power sure much less than double.
Guys, Get a proper branded hood if you are looking for one!!

We will raise this with our servicing department and ask them to investigate the matter further to ensure it is properly reviewed. High temperatures, strong detergents, and long cycles in a dishwasher can create a corrosive environment, which may affect smaller components such as screws. While the filters are suitable for dishwasher cleaning, the user manual does include a note recommending the use of mild detergent.
In regard to the extraction rates, we can assure you that the specifications are correct. However, if you believe there may be an issue with performance, you are very welcome to raise this with our servicing team as well so they can assess it for you.

If you’re buying the cooker hobs for…
If you’re buying the cooker hobs for their appearance please bare in mind the stunning gold ring design on the hobs is only done to ‘visually appeal’ in the showrooms. It’s a paint used to make it look nice to sell, but comes off after ‘regular’ use…the regular use being twice, so roughly 15 minutes. They don’t advertise this on the description though. So what you buy won’t look the same after you use it for 15 minutes. Well, some of the rings will some won’t apparently it’s a waiting game until they all look the same now. In our lovely new kitchen. Also, very helpful customer service, they see absolutely no issue in visually selling a product that isn’t intended to look like that after 1 use. It’s for sales purposes only.

We would like to clarify that the hob was supplied exactly as designed, including the brass-finished burner components. This finish is applied for aesthetic purposes in line with the design of our ranges.
The burner caps themselves operate under extremely high temperatures during normal use. As a result, any decorative coating applied to these components is intentionally designed to burn off during initial use. This is a standard and necessary process to ensure that no coating remains on parts exposed directly to flame, in full compliance with UK and EU safety regulations regarding non-toxicity and heat resistance.
For this reason, the change in appearance of the burner caps is expected and does not indicate a defect or fault with the product.
We hope this clarifies the matter.

Gas oven…
We have had our gas cooker for just over 4months very please with the look and how well it is made but the oven it's self is not as good we only had one rack and the food was getting burnt on the bottom all the time so order another over rack but I find it still burning the food.
