If you’re buying the cooker hobs for…

If you’re buying the cooker hobs for their appearance please bare in mind the stunning gold ring design on the hobs is only done to ‘visually appeal’ in the showrooms. It’s a paint used to make it look nice to sell, but comes off after ‘regular’ use…the regular use being twice, so roughly 15 minutes. They don’t advertise this on the description though. So what you buy won’t look the same after you use it for 15 minutes. Well, some of the rings will some won’t apparently it’s a waiting game until they all look the same now. In our lovely new kitchen. Also, very helpful customer service, they see absolutely no issue in visually selling a product that isn’t intended to look like that after 1 use. It’s for sales purposes only.

We would like to clarify that the hob was supplied exactly as designed, including the brass-finished burner components. This finish is applied for aesthetic purposes in line with the design of our ranges.

The burner caps themselves operate under extremely high temperatures during normal use. As a result, any decorative coating applied to these components is intentionally designed to burn off during initial use. This is a standard and necessary process to ensure that no coating remains on parts exposed directly to flame, in full compliance with UK and EU safety regulations regarding non-toxicity and heat resistance.

For this reason, the change in appearance of the burner caps is expected and does not indicate a defect or fault with the product.

Gas oven…

We have had our gas cooker for just over 4months very please with the look and how well it is made but the oven it's self is not as good we only had one rack and the food was getting burnt on the bottom all the time so order another over rack but I find it still burning the food.

Very poor installation experience. Extractor hood OK

While the showroom and sales experience was positive, the installation and post installation support were poor.
The actual installation (of a cooker hood) was messy and incomplete. We were left with a non-functioning cooker hood for me to sort out. I had agreed that I would arrange to get the stainless steel chimney cut down as my 8 foot ceiling height is apparently "low" and they can't perform this type of task. Not ideal but I agreed, however the installation team weren't able to connect the hood to the external extraction duct and left that for me to sort out! I paid £150 for installation and did a lot of it myself. I also found that the installation team had assembled the hood incorrectly, so I had to resolve that also. When I went back to the Kaiser sales team I didn't get a great response. Once they have your money in the till, they don't seem to care about your experience. They did give me the telephone number of their own installer (rather than the sub-contractor who installed the hood) and he was helpful when I called him but no offer was made for him to come to my house and sort the mess out. 3 stars because the extractor hood seems very good which I consider generous as install would rate a 0. Be cautious with this company.

Poor customer service experience

Poor customer service experience. Communication was slow and unhelpful, and it was difficult to get a clear resolution to my issue. I had to follow up multiple times without any real progress. Overall, quite disappointing.

We purchased oven and hob Empire…

We purchased an oven and hob Empire bundle directly from Kaiser in advance of our kitchen renovation. The hob arrived with damage that was only discovered prior to installation, while still unused and with packaging in place.

When we contacted Kaiser, the claim was dismissed purely on the basis of a strict 7-day reporting window, with no attempt to inspect the item or consider the fact it had never been installed or used.

After realising Kaiser were not going to help us we realised that we had to inform them that this was a statutory consumer rights issue, however the response remained focused on internal policy (dismissing UK consumer rights) rather than addressing the condition of the goods at the point of delivery.

This felt incredibly unreasonable and dismissive, particularly for a brand positioning itself as ‘premium’.

The issue was ultimately only resolved after going through our bank, which should not have been necessary for what was clearly a legitimate problem. Although I have to admit after the trouble they caused us and the delays it created, it was incredibly satisfying to claim a successful chargeback.

During that process we sourced an identical replacement hob separately, but unfortunately we’ve since found the finish marks and discolours very easily, with the gold detailing wearing quickly under normal use.

As Kaiser refused to take responsibility for the original unit, we’ve had to keep it and use parts from it to maintain the replacement.

Overall, this was a frustrating experience from start to finish. The products may look the part, but both the durability and after-sales support have fallen well short of expectations.

The oven itself is functional, however it lacks any clear indication of when it has reached temperature, and we’ve found the temperature dial to be inconsistent by around 20–40°C compared to expected cooking temperatures. This makes it difficult to rely on for accurate cooking.

I could not in good conscience recommend the brand to anyone. If you have any issues after they have your money, be prepared for dismissive customer service that doesn’t understand your rights.
