Mr Kanchana Desilva, supported by Chetna Parmer from Cobden House Chambers undertook to defend a sensitive and difficult, end of term mortgage repossession claim.
Throughout the whole process, they respectfully provided a service which no amount of money can buy. Their approach was one of practical guidance, sensitive empathy and a robust determination to achieve a fair outcome for both claimant and defendant.
I would encourage anyone who encounters similar difficulties to talk to Mr Desilva, he is a good listener. He prepared a strong defence with supporting evidence. The outcome being that I was granted a significant length of time to sell my property.
This had the claimants consent, and was acheived by a considerable amount of work, skilful negotiation and a culture of care being applied. I am extremely grateful for his involvement and professional expertise.

From the start I found them to be on the ball, knowledgeable and very responsive. At all times I believe they acted in my best interest. Possession on the property went all the way to the bailiffs and was still achieved start to finish in 7 months.
The only change I would suggest is to summarise a little more, and then provide the details when asked or as a follow on.

I have been a customer of Keoughs for over 14 months now. During this time the progression from a section 8 to a possession hearing was relatively straightforward. Several matters since have been brought about through complications from a difficult debtor in enforcing the courts judgement. This has been a difficult time for me due to the nature of the case and the impact on me personally. We still have a long way to go for a resolution but I have found Kanchana to be supportive, patient and diligent.
